I started the divorce process with another lawyer. I was very unhappy with his service. I was referred to John Gemelli. I am so glad that I made the change. John was excellent. Josephine was the main attorney on my case. Josephine is a star. My divorce was a long arduous process due to a business appraisal. As if coming from New York to Little Rock,Arkansas wasn’t pure dedication, so was their dedication to my daughter’s Federal case and our family. Their passion and dedication in defending my daughter’s rights was way more than I imagined or expected because they were committed to her case. They picked apart every detail of her case and examined it as if she was their family member being represented.

Have nothing but good things to say about Karen. All the ratings listed reflect the highest standard, in my opinion. I switched to Karen, after being disappointed with my previous attorney and it was, by far, the best decision I made. Claire has represented me for several years in numerous cases that have gone through family court. There is no one I would rather have in my corner. She is kind, supportive and understanding of the emotions involved in family court cases (children, support and visitation). But once we are in court she is absolutely ferocious and within minutes you will thank God she is on your side. Her entire team, including Carrie, are amazing. They made me feel like family from day one and that was very reassuring. I can't recommend them enough.

If you need a QDRO or DRO (for divorce) this is the lawyer you need to use!!! She is the nicest, fairest most decent lawyer I have dealt with and unfortunately I have had experience with three divorce lawyers for one divorce from HELL. She is very competent and knows her stuff. I wish I could have hired her as my first divorce lawyer. Anyway, I was able to have her fix the DRO even though she's in Ithaca and I'm in the Hudson Valley! We did everything over the phone/ email. So don't let distance sway you. If you have a New York State Retirement or 401k and are getting divorced you need to call her. Don't let your divorce lawyer handle the QDRO because they could screw it up like mine did. Use an expert like Carla.

I thought I could handle my divorce amicably by myself, but my ex husband’s family attorney (who hates me) hired the most expensive and viscous divorce lawyers in New York to make the divorce as contentious as possible for me.
My situation didn’t improve until a dear family friend recommended Rona to me. She immediately assuaged all of my concerns and fought hard for me and I ended up with a better settlement in the process.
Rona made the best of a bad situation and I will recommend her to everyone. She’s also a very nice person.

Mr. Kassman is a great attorney backed by an incredible staff who work really hard. We had a horrible tenant that had to be evicted in Suffolk County and Mr. Kassman laid out a plan and executed on it flawlessly. He took dozens of phone calls, and so did his staff from us and reassured us throughout the entire process. We are really grateful. My biggest mistake with my divorce was in using a mediator at first and not engaging Laura completely and fully from the beginning. When custody and other issues came up, Laura was able to help me achieve pretty much every goal I set out to accomplish. My case and custody faced some non-standard issues and Laura did extra research to help me understand how this would affect my case and what was actionable and what was not. She provided me detailed analysis and sound legal advice. Her communication is timely, accurate, complete, and comprehensive. I could not be happier with the service I have received.

I met Benjamin back when I was an adolescent aspiring to be an attorney and he was my younger brother’s basketball coach. Ben’s family and mines would travel along side each other as our boys played travel basketball. We all bonded over meals and shared hotels.
