Kendra Thomas was/is awesome! Divorce is messy child custody is messier. Kendra is a pro. You don't always get what you want, but the court system is setup to make sure of that. You get what you need and Kendra is a professional advocate for the children caught in the middle. My kids were so lucky to have her advocating for them, so they end up with time with both parents. Kendra is fair and that's all I could ask for.

In August 2022, the judge hearing the custody/visitation case regarding my minor son (10 w/ ADHD) appointed Ms. Thomas for his representation. Ms. Thoman was great! She interviewed my ex-husband and me. She spoke to my son privately to collect the information she needed to determine how she would present her(his really) case. She was truly for my sons his best interest, so much so that at the final hearing my ex-husband and I felt good creating a parenting plan together without the judge all while considering what Ms. Thomas expressed to us. We were able to talk amicably, but most importantly co-parent in a way that we had not been able to do in years. We both found a plan that works for us both, but especially for our son who is much more happier. Also, Ms. Murray, her assistant was on it. Her response time showed my ex-husband and I that they were invested in the case.

When I was served with Divorce papers, I was in a state of shock and needed to find a Great Lawyer quickly. I was referred to several lawyers in my area from my Employers provided legal service. After speaking to several Attorneys, I called HMA Law Group and spoke to Attorney Harry Mirchandaney. I immediately felt reassured. Mr. Mirchandaney explained the process, and was straightforward with telling me what to expect. He listened to my concerns and was candid in telling me if what I was asking for was reasonable. I normally don’t write reviews but after three years of working with Attorney Harry Mirchandaney I felt it was the least I could do.

When searching for an attorney to handle a personal and emotional matter, the need to find someone who is professional, knowledgeable and compassionate can be a difficult task. I found all of these characteristics and more in choosing and hiring Aimee Ashby Flanagan to handle my dissolution of marriage.
During our initial phone call, Aimee and I discussed the particulars of my marriage and as uncomfortable as it was for me to approach the conversation, Aimee's calm and comforting demeanor quickly settled my unsure nerves. Upon our first face to face meeting (during the Covid -19 pandemic), Aimee politely answered each of my many questions, took ample time discussing the divorce process and welcomed my feedback. Never was I rushed into signing an agreement or pressured to hurry the process. Her communication, whether by email, telephone or in person was always articulate and excellent and her response time throughout the duration of my case was immediate an on-point. She continually provided status updates, which I appreciated greatly. I was made aware of any email communication between she and my future ex-husband; each time impressed with her professionalism and expertise.
When the time came to file the final documents with the court, Aimee made sure I was 100% satisfied with the judgment agreement, spent ample time interpreting each document and again, answered my many questions.

I'll be honest Family Law is messy and emotional and I feel so blessed to have been referred to Marc Mitzner and his team. They helped me with a complex Domestic Violence, Custody and Divorce Case. From the moment I came into his office everyone was extremely accommodating, professional and very conscientious of the intense emotional state I was in. They executed everything as they promised and in the time frame they said they would. I was constantly updated of my case status. I never had to follow up and ask for any paperwork as it was always emailed to me immediately. When I went to court with Marc and Christina it was easy to see that their reputations were well respected in the court room and with the judge. There is so much emotion involved in Family Law and during this crisis I was not thinking as clearly as I normally am, I couldn't have been in better hands during this experience. I never felt like I didn't ask enough questions or that I was rushed and if I did have a question they were always very timely to get back to me. It was clear they were extremely experienced, their knowledge speaks for itself, but from day one they clearly informed me of their plan of action, the possible outcomes and continued to do so throughout the process. Mr. Mitzner and his team are, hands down, the most professional, hard working and attentive attorney team that I've ever worked with. Finding Marc and his staff was a true blessing in my life. I was facing a horrible child support case for my first time, lost and naive to the entire process. Most attorneys I met with prior to Marc tried to take advantage me by attempting to make things more complex than they really were knowing that desperate people always pay. Ben Phillips is an outstanding attorney.
Having Ben as my attorney was one of the best choices I made during a very challenging time. He came highly recommended to me, and I will always be grateful for those recommendations.
Going through a divorce can be emotionally draining. However, with Ben as my attorney handling everything superbly, I was able to focus on being a mom to my 3 children.
The moment Ben became my attorney, things started to quickly line up and shift in the right direction.
It was a very complex financial case with a very litigious husband of high net worth who was hiding assets. Ben is extremely intelligent, quick-minded, and organized. He is highly respected by judges and peers alike. Litigation comes naturally to Ben as he is extremely eloquent and well-versed in the law. He is an excellent litigator.

I had to endure a three year divorce process and learned a lot from it. First and mainly, I should have retained John "Ben" Phillips first off. I had three attorneys prior to retaining Ben and if you combined all three prior attorneys as a team, they could even come close to Ben's expertise in family law matters. The difference between an attorney and a great attorney is a great attorney can get the job done quickly.
Ben is highly organized and he knows the law regarding divorce, child custody and all other aspects of family law. Ben is a great negotiator as well as a great listener. His handling of the division of community assets and child custody issues in my divorce case left me great satisfaction. My retirement funds were a huge concern of mine and through Ben's negotiating skills, provided me with more than favorable results.
No one likes to go through a messy, complicated and emotional divorce. From my experience, I can tell you do not throw money away by just hiring an attorney(s). Retain the best attorney possible you can from the get-go who will work and fight for you with professionalism. I highly recommend Ben Phillips as absolutely the best family law attorney out there. Before my divorce I did know Ben but now I consider him a friend.

If you are looking for an attorney who is extremely smart, competent, effective, fair in billing, and empathic to your situation, then Ben is a great choice for your attorney. My divorce was complicated and my ex wanted to fight. Ben was able to keep the focus on the facts and keep track of the vast quantities of paper and rabbit trails that the other side created. He was quite organized and retained the relevant information such that when we finally did get to court, he knew exactly where to go to get the pertinent information/numbers. He did not allow the other side to "bully" me, which in fact they tried. I highly recommend Ben as an excellent lawyer who can handle just about anyone. By the way, don't be misled by his nice smile, young appearance and 6 years in practice... He is smart and he is a fighter!

Brooke took in my case after my previous lawyer closed her practice. She focused on the best for my child and made sure I did as well. Ms. Archbold took on my case and made sure that the very unclear information I had received from the other party was reviewed, clarified, and then assured me that we would be able to get a favorable result. Something that could have cost me well over $35,000 was settled for $5,000. I was very impressed with how she dug into the case and researched exactly what statutes applied and made the best argument possible on my behalf. I hired Courtney Shepard because I was told she would be a "Tiger" in the court for me. I really needed someone who could stand up for what was right with my divorce. Instead, I got a feeble attorney. Everytime we had a meeting, she was always jittery, biting her nails, always asking me the same questions. Most of the time she was not prepared. Courtney and her staff didn't keep me in the loop as to what was going on. They scheduled a deposition and didn't tell me about it. I had to constantly ask her & her staff to update me. If you are looking for an attorney who will fight for you, look elsewhere. DON'T hire Courtney Shepard!

I would never recommend anyone to use Emily as their attorney. I hired her many many years ago to represent me for my child custody/ support case and she did nothing to help me. I did all the leg work by providing her all my documents, going to the court to retrieve old documents from previous cases with the father of my children. The day of court she showed up with no paperwork, good thing I was prepared and had a copy of the whole case with me that she used. After months of not hearing from her with an update she informed me the judge threw out my case due to the other parent having outstanding violations and that I could pay the tickets myself to live forward which turned out to be a lie years later. I went to the court to try to proceed with the case on my own and the staff thought I was crazy and advised me to fire my attorney because they hard record she showed up to court on an unknown date and represented me and the judge did actually grant me full custody and child support which I did not know about for years. When I asked for the final documents they informed me the child support will not be valid since the attorney filed the order after hearing incorrectly and left off the child support but it was mentioned in the minute order. Per the court staff I would have to refill all the paperwork and serve the other parent again and go before a judge. It’s impossible for me to serve the other parent as he is in jail far away and financially I do not have the funds nor time to do this as this has been a case going since about 2013. Do not waste your time or money because you will be left doing the attorney work on your own.

The Domestic Violence Restraining Order was DENIED AND CASE DISMISSED. Do not miss out on Emily, trust in her and her skills and follow her lead. Her cross examination skills are phenomenal. During my trial Emily defended me and I was able to see her be 10 steps ahead of petitioner and her attorney. She won my case and most importantly SHE REUNITED ME WITH MY DAUGHTER after 4 months of not being able to see her. This attorney was worthless! She let my ex-wife get away with stealing the title of my 2.2. million-dollar house. She is so utterly incompetent with absolutely NO BACKBONE WHATSOEVER to defend the law or her clients. Because she is so weak-minded and spineless even the judges don't show her any respect. I ended up having to pay back the hard money loan my ex-wife took out with the fraudulent property title! Only because Anna Brace doesn't belong being a lawyer. My boys’ mother wanted to have our current 50/50 court order changed to 70/50 in her favor. I started a new job that required me to travel for training the first several months. I ended up traveling a lot that first year. During this time, my boys’ mother was keeping a meticulous calendar of when she had our boys on my court ordered time. According to her calendar, she had our boys 70% of the time. Along with some other complaints, she and her attorney brought this calendar into court (thinking it was their winning ACE).
What she and her attorney didn’t know was that I had the winning ace. The real winning ace. Anna C. brACE. Anna not only helped me keep 50/50 custody, she had my boys’ mom pay for the investigator’s fees which where around $1,000. Instead of me paying child support, which I did for the first 5 years, my boys’ mom was ordered to pay me child support and arears for the previous year. If this isn’t a win, I’m not sure what is. I give Anna a full 5 stars. Thank you Anna!

I'm not sure who wrote all the reviews, on or around the same day, but their experience does not match my experience with Ms. Stiles at all. I found her to be a highly aggressive, win at all costs, attorney. Her win at all costs game plan almost destroyed my coparenting relationship with my ex. Let's face it, financial issues during a divorce are not easy but they should always be fair and as transparent as possible. I began to see my coparenting relationship deteriorate before my eyes with each strategically crafted correspondence between lawyers. The stress on my children, from the financial battle going on between their parents, was a heartbreaking experience to witness. My decision to finally seek another lawyer was the best decision I ever made. My stress level went down, my divorce got finalized, and I have an amazing coparenting relationship with my ex (I have to wonder if the other reviewers can say the same). I may not have gotten all the money out of my divorce that I possibly could have using Sheila Stiles and her firm, but I've got piece of mind in knowing that my kids will always know that I treated my ex with respect and fairness during a really difficult time.

I hired Kaleen for a restraining order case which I was super happy about her helping me out with and winning the case. I then proceeded to hire her to take care of my divorce and child custody and we’ll then things just went down after that. Kaleen and Andrew don’t go above and beyond for their clients. They don’t answer all questions and are not reliable. With my case being so on going, they both decided to just give me the substitution of attorney without finishing my case even though I’ve payed for all services. I felt more anxious and overwhelmed my last hearing while being represented by them. If you want an attorney to have your back and fight for you, they will not be the right people for you.

Nicole was pawned off on me, for lack of better words, I went in thinking I was hiring Ms Whyte, and ended up with Miss Schmidt. She was rude through most of the process, and really did not listen, it was much easier for her to handle things in a cookie cutter fashion than to think outside the box. My biggest mistake was not getting a new attorney after our first day in court when she negotiated, I had very little involvement wirh that and was told it was only a preliminary and that we could get it changed later. Come to find out that is actually a very difficult feat. She prefers only contact through email. Once your case is finished, she mmakes it clear that she is no longer your attorney, you can rehire her for $300 an hour to ask her about your specifics about what was agreed upon in your negotiation. There's no information given on preparation for the future and in what instances you are entitled to make negotiations. Now I am paying an even steeper price by financial loss through her settling instead of fighting the fight and by hiring a new attorney to review and inform me of all that was agreed upon.

Hi neglect caused me to loose one of my cases and my home. Had he been prepared I would have won hands down. And instead of being ethical he double bills, is neglectful and pretty much a bad guy. He asked me to break the law which I refused and lied about communication only to extend my case, increase my billing for himself and Glenn Mehner who by the way never completed work and lied to the court.
