Susan Ford helped me prepare for a small claims case (where I represented my company) for a customer that sued us for nearly $5,000. I wish Lynn still practiced law. I have been in the other side of him in the past and he was very good at what he did. I hunted him down and was fortunate enough to have him do a consultation for child custody with myself and my mom on video chat. He took so much time and care and answered ALL of our questions. I met Ms. Dentinger early on in my process of trying to decide if I was going to proceed with a divorce. From the outset, she was forthright and I felt confident in her advice. She listened to my desired outcomes in the process and kept that as our focus throughout the divorce proceedings. She is an excellent ally, tells you "how it is", and keeps things realistic. She was compassionate to me but was directive and dogged when dealing with the other attorney. Although divorce is a stressful process, Ms. Dentinger is phenomenal at what she does and I feel that my decision to have her represent me made my divorce proceedings as smooth as they could be. I would highly recommend her!

Tammy is a very knowledgeable attorney that really understands the process. I really appreciated how she handled my case and the aggressiveness of the opposing side. I worked very well with her. I really appreciated how Tammy would lay out the options and didn't always have to fight w/ the opposing side for the sake of fighting. However, when a issue or problem occurred that required a strong stance, she went to bat. Divorce is a very stressful event. Looking back I really valued her openness to share the pros and cons of various issues/proposals, and her ability to change tactics based on her knowledge of opposing attorneys. The opposing attorney in my case was known for being rather aggressive and argumentative. At the onset of our legal relationship, Tammy predicted what he would likely do and how we would respond, or even not respond. I am very pleased w/ the representation I received from Tammy and her staff. Tammy and her team always responded quickly to my calls/emails and was always available to answer questions. The only thing worse than a custody battle is a custody battle throughout Covid. The courts were a nightmare and the process was so broken. With all of that said, Jonathan Corey guided me through it with poise, grace, patience, and professionalism. Without his guidance I cannot imagine how I would have gotten through it all. It was clear from the start that I could trust Jonathan throughout the process. Whenever anything seemed dire, he was able to calm my nerves by knowing the best play to lead with or react with. My situation was more complicated than usual, and I needed a well-experienced attorney who I could trust to leave my case in his hand. I have been involved in a very challenging case with very significant mental health problems of the other parent that, unfortunately, continue to impact the life of a child.
I was initially referred to Mr. Newsom from a friend and was a bit hesitant at first with all of the attorneys I met with. Upon meeting Mr. Newsom and discussing our case, I quickly found that he was there for the right reasons and was vastly skilled in areas that I needed the most support in.
He is able to keep a level head in very challenging situations which, in turn, allows him to see the big picture to not only focus on immediate needs but also the 'long game'. He is incredibly skilled in drafting responses and documents as well as seeing areas that you, the client, may need to improve and will direct you to appropriate coaching or resources that will benefit your family and, most importantly, your child. He is 'soft' when it's needed yet will stand strong when the time dictates and always keeps the child's interest as the ultimate goal, which was so important to me.
He is skilled in the overall strategy, timing of communications, mediation, litigation, and guiding other professionals that may be involved in your case. Mr. Carty represented me in a criminal case. During our initial meeting he took the time to listen, was understanding, compassionate, and explained the process. I relied on his analytical skills and judgement to guide me through an extremely emotionally trying experience.

I initially got in contact with Taylor for a consultation through my friend who had worked with him for her divorce . He gave me all of the information I needed to self-file. My ex avoided service and filed his own divorce papers in CA where he lives. So it all became very complicated. I came back to Taylor and hired him to help me navigate through it all. He could not give me any advice on CA, but he was very skilled at helping me know what to do to ensure jurisdiction for the case would be here in OR. I had lived here for 2 years with my 10 year old son. Taylor was able to successfully get jurisdiction changed to OR. My ex challenged it in CA, but we prevailed. This was an incredibly stressful and emotional experience for me that went on for almost 2 years. Taylor stuck through it all with me and was a calm and patient sounding board for my concerns and questions. He is a saint for all of the times he talked me off the edge and helped me through it all. He answered every call in a timely manner and swiftly followed up on all the necessary documents and filings needed. Taylor,and his staff went above and beyond for our family this past year and a half. I was very pleased with Jennifer’s professionalism and willingness to listen to what I had to say.
I hired Jennifer to help me as my ex was unwilling to disclose what was happening to funds set aside specifically for my children. Unlike the lawyer I hired for my divorce, or other subsequent lawyers who disbelieved what I had to say about what was happening, or the irrational actions of my ex, Jennifer listened and was able to work with me to resolve the situation. I felt confident in her advise and she was always willing to explain things in a manner I was able to understand.
More importantly, she listened when I disagreed and didn’t try to pressure my decisions (giving me time to work through my emotional reluctance, at times, so that I could make rational decisions regarding the case and which moved the case forward).

Jennifer was absolutely phenomenal with my case. I was/am dealing with a very narcissistic ex husband and Jennifer was calm, cool and collected while dealing with him and my custody case. She was very to the point with him and extremely helpful to me. She understood that I am a single mother with a single income, she was conscious of the fact that I didn’t have an endless amount of money. Jennifer would tell me all of the options that there were and we would discuss which route was best and she cared about my input. She cared about me and my daughter! I would call or email Jennifer with questions or concerns and I thought I was bothering her so I apologized (all the time!) and she reassured me that I am not a bother. I started my divorce process in mid 2020, what a time to have to go through this process. But I don't think there's really a "good" time for such a thing.
The original attorney I teamed up with at the beginning of my divorce, Myah Kehoe (Kehoe Moneyhun Law, LLC) which I recommend as well. That attorney recommended a handful of attorneys based on the particulars of my case. After consulting with each of these attorneys, I decided upon Jennifer (Jenny) Eadie and I'm glad I made that decision. My case was protracted (likely due to the pandemic), involving a non-responsive other party, and a lack of willingness to compromise. Jenny was highly skilled at taking over the case, getting up to speed, and communicating with both parties in a timely fashion. Jenny helped bring my case to a resolution and a positive outcome. If you want an attorney that's patient, polite, and efficient; then look no further. Jenny is it, I highly recommend Jenny Eadie as an attorney.

Root, and her Gevurtz Menashe team (Associate Attorney Tracy Connor and Legal Assistants Linda and Marie) for their collective expertise, efforts, professionalism, patience, and understanding throughout their work on my legal case.
It had been both confusing and stressful over the years, as I had initially attempted to get legal help to resolve problems in the original paperwork from other legal counsel, with no luck. In a final attempt, I feel very fortunate to have found and received the legal help and guidance from Ms. Root and her team. We worked through several challenging obstacles, explaining legal terms and steps required along the way, and then ultimately receiving the required military calculation information for final negotiations and terms of the final documents. The goal was to file clarifying divorce military benefits paperwork, for the outcome of a revised court order to receive these benefits. After much effort by all, we received this new court order.
In the beginning, I also stated that I wanted a first priority placed on keeping my kids out of the entire process, out of respect and sensitivity for them, as they should not be caught in the middle of this situation. Kathy Root was the stable behind my dramatic divorce 13 years ago/ which is still proceeding with other issues to this day. Stacy took a very stressful and certainly unfamiliar situation and explained every step in a comforting way. She was so kind and patient with me, helping me understand the processes. I am disabled, my husband left me, after 32 years, because he didn't want a disabled wife. I was a hot mess, when I came to Kelsea.
