Exceptional dedication and care, knowledge and experience. Erica was able to get me the impossible 10 years ago - full custody of my 5 year old daughter after I divorced an abuser. She was the first one to tell me my circumstances will unlikely yield a full custody, I replied I HAD too. We got full custody and a 5 years DVPO, Erica did it! Last November after 6 months of harassment , treats and coercive control , I found myself in court again to ask for another DVPO protecting my daughter and I from the same man, her “ father “. She told me to hold off for a few months before she knew it worth spending the money on representation. Once we got there , she told me and once again, she got us another DVPO. Erica has a heart for her clients, she made the difference in the life I and my daughter have. I am forever thankful and have recommended her more than I have recommended contractors ( I am a real estate broker :) all my friends know her by name!

Knauf Santos Law counseled me through a difficult process of renegotiating a parenting plan and child support agreement with my children’s father. I originally hired Sean because a plumbing company had caused structural damages to floor joists during a renovation and they would not accept responsibility. What happened instead was Sean transferred me to Joe and the lawsuit lasted 2 1/2 years. We ended up going to arbitration and I won all damages but zero lawyers fees.
Incredibly frustrating experience.
I wouldn’t hire nor recommend them.
I regret hiring Sean and Joe.

I worked with Will Reingold, Jr for my divorce, who was recommended to me by a friend. He was friendly and knowledgeable for a process that is painful for most. The guy always works and never seems to miss a beat. He is always on top of it and prioritizes to get things done/executed like you're his only client. He made efforts to resolve more complicated challenges like parental rights of embryos even though it's not his wheelhouse.

I worked with Terry during a seemingly impossible divorce and custody case. My ex was impossible to work with, missed required court dates, threatened her and her staff frequently, refused to be cooperative or even decent and ultimately made a tough situation near impossible. Terry worked on this case for 8 months, provided both legal advise and emotional support and ended up getting me full custody of daughter. She dealt with my ex- a malignant narcissist with professionalism and was able to see through his scary façade. She understands the law and fights for what is right. I would have been lost without Terry.

As a working father going up against a stay-at-home mom who wanted sole custody, a difficult attorney representing my ex, and a bad GAL report, things looked hopeless. Terry gave me options and hope when I was ready to give up, dealt with a very difficult opposing counsel, and argued a fantastic case. At closing arguments, it was clear how emotionally and professionally invested she was in my case. After trial, I was satisfied that, win or lose, we did our best. And we won!
I cannot recommend Terry highly enough, especially for professional working fathers who are fighting an uphill battle to keep involved in their kids' lives. She's the best!

I spoke to Terry regarding my legal matter, she was attentive and showed great compassion and empathy during our brief phone call. I was completely lost and confused, she helped me understand my situation more clearly. I ultimately ended up retaining her for services and she has been the best to work with. I'm surprised to see the review giving her 1 star, that certainly was not my experience but I also know that some people have extremely excessive expectations. I wanted to share that the experience I had with the view ridge law- more specifiacally with the attorny Elaina T. was far from well. I had to end my session with her early and request my money back. I paid her to help me and instead she spent time telling me why I couldnt get what I wanted and defending the other party. I also found out she did not read all the paperwork I sent in which she claimed was irrelevant to the case which was entirely unture. I was shocked at the lack of professionalism and care that was given to me. Our meeting was not recorded so I was not able to prove that way she was speaking to me to her superiors. The only positive that came from this was that the office did refund me my money. I lost out on a very timely situation due to their lack of attention.

During 2011-2013 John helped me with the process to change my Visa Status. The school I was enrolled in committed several mistakes leading the change of visa from a J1 to an F1 that eventually the Visa was denied and the case was cancelled in two different occasions. John finally took care of the process and later on had to intervened with the school to avoid having me paying the fees that the USCIS required in order to re-open my case. After waiting for a long time I did get my Visa. John charged me a fee that took in consideration my financial situation.

I met betsy when she was doing volunteer probono for DV 5 years ago. She was excellent in her work. I hired her after my DV case was done to resolve divorce case issues. She helped me every step and listen to me carefully. I was new in the court system and didn't knew my rights and possible outcomes. I was very happy with Betsy Crumb's counsel. I hired her to assist in a school choice dispute with my child's other parent. I would highly recommend Mr. Odimba For anything dealing with family practice. What I enjoyed was that he stayed on top of everything and if there were any big concerns dealing with the other side he would let me know what's going on and suggest the best route to take. I hired Caleb as my back up for amicable mediation. When this plan failed, Caleb stepped in as my full time lawyer. In the 2 year 9 month long divorce process, I was unbelievable impressed with Caleb (and Susan, his para-legal!).
There was no detail overlooked.
He was totally dedicated to representing my needs and more importantly, what was best for my three kids. He is a fierce negotiator which resulted in avoiding court and ended up with a fair and reasonable settlement. I HIGHLY recommend Caleb.

I really wish I knew what to say to describe my experience with Ross Amkraut. I can only convey the feelings that I experienced after each consult. Ross gave me strength throughout the beginning process of my divorce proceedings. Whenever I was feeling anxiety, it seemed as if he knew, and would call to inform me of updates in my case. I was introduced to Troy Courage via referral from WSBA's Moderate Means program -- of which Troy is generously a participant -- as I found myself in a situation ultimately requiring filing for personal bankruptcy. They put you through an inital intake process which is positive. I wanted a quick end to my divorce and was happy to compromise to make it happen. Our goals seemed to align.
Unfortunately this firm provided poor council during the first phone call with the attorney. Luckily this did not lead to a financial move that would have put me in violation of a court order. Later the attorney wanted me to provide documentary evidence he had previously advised against in an aparent 180. Such documentation was previously claimed to put me in legal liability. What can I believe?
Very disappointing.
Divorce is tough enough. I hired an attorney becuase I am no legal expert and I wanted a quick, mediated end to my marriage. Instead I get bad and changing advice. Plenty of good reviews of these guys. Hope I'm an outlier.

I found Kathryn through a friend. I had already made several calls looking for an attorney to help me through what I was sure would be a difficult divorce. All the calls I made we met with “this is what we charge an hour” and then the touting of all their accomplishments.
