Mr. Wells and firm handled my seperation case. After being told by my previous attorney that they could no longer handle my hearing after a conflict in dates, I was in desperate need to find someone to assist. I was referred to Wells Law Firm by a friend. Mr. Wells was able to clear his schedule to meet the next day. I enjoyed our conversation and his advice during the consultation. I called dozens of attorneys before finally talking to Tim Domin. Most attorneys couldn't get me off the phone fast enough when they realized that I didn't have a big money case. Tim was willing to listen and understand my concerns. While he wasn't able to take on my specific case he did his research and followed up with me on recommendations that have put me on the right track. It's certainly more than he was required to do, but he was also courteous, patient, and understanding of my very unique situation. Thanks so much for the help Tim.

I was arrested, then charges were dismissed. Ben was excited to take on the case against the police department for false arrest at first. Then he goes months with no responses. Says he is going to send me a draft for a lawsuit, then again no response for 18 months. I was forced to file the lawsuit myself because of the statute of limitations for filing against a government entity. Now he says he's unable to represent and refuses to answer my calls.

Ms. Boykin represented my son and our family during a custody case involving his sons. I had to hire an attorney because the mother had taken the boys to another state and we lost contact with them for 6 months. A private investigator was hired and found the boys within days - which got the mother (and boys) back here and Ms. Boykin started working on preparing for a custody hearing. I don't know if the judge was simply "real" mad at the mother, if Ms. Boykin is a super great attorney or a combination of both - I suspect it was both but we ended up with a better custody agreement than we thought possible. This grandma is very pleased that she is now spending lots of time with her grands! In case you want to know what the agreement was: every weekend, half of summer/winter vacation, every other year for tax deductions, equal division of holidays, notification of school events and if the mother takes the boys out of state without notifying my son - he gets custody. They share evenly the cost of medical expenses. The mother also has to provide a way for the boys to phone their father and not interfere with them doing so.

Robin Lalley represented me in my divorce 3 years ago and I would not recommend her at all. For the most part (without her explaining how she does things), I worked with her junior attorney until all the hard work was done and then Robin jumped in. Robin was dismissive of all of my ideas and questions - even regarding significant, life-altering topics. Robin failed to educate me on major legal issues (thank God I educated myself or would have never known key aspects of my case) and she actually told me incorrect information on more than one occasion. Lastly, Robin did not want to do anything that would cause her to put forth even the least amount of effort. She acted like she was doing me a favor by meeting with me. And she was judgmental and condescending to boot. Go somewhere else. She is not a good lawyer or advocate and she has a defeatist attitude that is useless and the last thing anybody needs.

After my kids had been taken away from me and alienated from me, I was beginning to lose faith that I would ever see my kids again. Then in 2021, I found myself facing DSS regarding made up allegations of abuse fabricated by my ex-wife.

Should not be allowed to practice family law based on personal experience.
Ryan will tell you what you want to hear to get your money and then tell you something totally different after he gets your deposit money…. BEWARE!!! Ryan and his practices lack of attention to detail is appalling. First year in I discovered the modification I agreed to for 1 holiday did not make it into the final documents. Time sharing is written incorrectly for what was previously agreed to. Never let his firm write a dollar value for retirement assets because you will be responsible for the loses of those accounts and his firm will not back you up. 3 years after my divorce I am forced to take out a personal loan to pay for a divorce settlement that was supposed to come from my retirement accounts. Instead of 50/50 asset disbursement I am now forced to pay out of pocket for his firms lack of ability to represent the value of my pension retirement account. The agreement was written so poorly the QDRO attorney hired to handle retirement disbursement couldn’t even do their job because his firm did not write the agreement correctly. If you want to be haunted by a divorce decree hire Shwartz law firm because I can assure you that’s what will happen to you. Ryan will also admit to his mistakes but cares less about how you have to pay for his mistakes.
If only I could give zero stars.

I deeply regret investing nearly a year with this company under the false impression that they thoroughly evaluated my case before I signed any documents and participated in multiple phone interviews with specialists. After confirming they believed my case had merit, they provided me with paperwork outlining their fees and expectations. However, mere months before the statute of limitations expired on my case, they abruptly terminated our agreement with a brief phone call and a letter. This sudden decision left me devastated and faced with the difficult choice of continuing my search for legal representation or allowing the individual responsible for causing significant harm and trauma to my children and me to go unpunished.
I continue to experience pain and have limited mobility in my lower jaw, compounded by the frustration of the company's failure to conduct adequate due diligence before accepting me as a client and subsequently dropping my case.

I was referred to the Finkel Law Firm, specifically Dylan Glick by the SC Lawyer Referral Service. I was scheduled with an appointment for 10/3/24 @ 9am which was a 3 week wait. I called at 9:05 am since no one had contacted me. I was told I was Mr. Glick was tied up on another call, then I was told Mr. Glick does not have me on his schedule. I was put on hold yet again and another person came on telling me my appointment was at 2pm and she never schedules consults for early morning! I'm not really certain why I was treated this way; however, it's absolutely unacceptable. Perhaps because I was referred by the SC Lawyer Referral Service and they discount their fee for the initial consultation. I did reach back out to the SC Lawyer Referral Service to file a complaint and also to find a different attorney for my specific need!

I've hired Haley multiple times, first for a difficult divorce and again for a custody battle. I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again, she always responds in a timely manner. She is direct & lays out the good/ bad . She has always given me proper legal advice and we haven't lost in court yet. She cares about her clients and really does guide them in a difficult time. Her staff is kind, compassionate and they have even followed up/ checked in with me on weekends. She is always prompt for appointments and doesn't keep you waiting . I thought this lawyer knew what he was doing. He absolutely did NOT. Everything I told him I did not agree with for the opposite parties propositions he lied and said I agreed too. I could make a list. He not only almost risked my two year old spending the night with a predator but told the courts I agreed with it. No matter what I told him he went against. I had two witnesses with me agreeing and telling him no I do not agree and he didn’t listen, he let the opposing party do everything even tho I suggested him do it. He let them make the order (which opposing party ended up making up a total false order compared to the transcript.) He kept telling me the judge would give me something I didn’t like against a sperm donar who’s never been apart of my life nor in a relationship with. He gave me bad advice. He’s a waste of money I literally spoke with him two days , plus traveling fees and a few emails I paid 4K . I fired this attorney , he tried to say I owed him more money!! He stuttered in front of the job I had to tap on his shoulder and say “fight for me” it seemed to all 3 of us that him and opposing party kept discussing things on their own that was never repeated to me about my case. He shared no emails exchanged. The opposing party got all our paperwork I received none till he was fired. He wouldn’t even allow me to fire him until 3 weeks later even tho I told him he was fired right after the court day. In email I told him I didn’t need legal council several times and it was almost ignored. He acted AFRAID of the judge & did not do his job what so ever.

I came to them broken and confused on a Thursday. Aimee flawlessly prepared my paperwork! Monday afternoon we had court. David asked me about my questions and concerns and conveyed the image and message I wanted to the judge. He even contacted me before court to make sure he fully understood my position. I got everything I asked for. We tried to settle with the opposing team to avoid court. They would not. David advised me of the risk I was taking. The odds were in our favor. I contracted her in a divorce case and she said she would file a motion to block sale of property didnt do anything they want answer the phone, if your leave a message they dont call you back, she left town on two different times for a month at a time. I lost 3 harleys and a GMC Terrain because I put rust in her and she didnt do a thing that she said she would do. Stay way clear of the art. Real bad. And the last thing I had was a 1/2 a house and she told me I'd need another att for that.. and still have got a refund yet..... STAY CLEAR

Became very clear early on in our case that extreme partiality went towards the person with more money. We were dealing with a man that had a long history of abuse, stalking, and a known sexual predator that also had a history of pushing drugs on women and selling them. Yet very little investigation was done on this man. Many requests of well checks on child were completely ignored. Best interest of a child will not be taken seriously.

Same experience as the below indivilual below. Thirteen (13) months of a horribly bad experience, when a divorce is hard enough. Very unprofessional. When I complained about his non-responseness he would claim he always returned calls. He would blamed me for not getting his messages. That I had him blocked or my mail server was not working properly. I do not have a server. I was asked to fill out my own legal documents. Which he has not served to the court. Zero legal advise. Nothing accomplished. Already paid him over 8K and he is still billing me. My X's lawyer has done the agreement work so far. Haskins has give my X's lawyer permission to work directly with me.
