Erik Severino is an exceptional bankruptcy attorney who truly cares about his clients. I went to see Erik Severino at the beginning of last year for a chapter 7 bankruptcy. I wanted to wait until the process was fully completed before I did my review. Since it was my first time I was super nervous and scared. Scott was helping me for the most part. You can still email Erik questions as well and he responds very quickly. They were both knowledgeable, patient and responsive. I had so many questions since it was my first time and they answered all of them. They helped me through everything and reassured me. The paperwork was done very well. I have no issues even from this day. I really recommend their services. They are very caring, good and trustworthy. They get the job done. I knew I was going to hire marc 10 minutes into our consultation. Ive never been in any sort of legal battle but marc really made me feel at ease. He fought for me! He was super dedicated and made me feel like I was more than just his client! He cared! He answered any question I had and was super attentive to my case. I was threatened by a company over a negative YouTube video I made to expose some shady business practices. Marc reviewed my case and was immediately on-board to defend me and stand up against this hostile company. Marc's motivation stemmed from his aggressive support of the First Amendment. I didn't know this, but he even helped author NV's Anti-SLAPP laws which would have been the basis of our case. Marc was sensitive to the issue of cost, and we made a deal which worked for me. Additionally, I was impressed by his responsiveness via email to questions and suggestions -- few emails went unreplied after 15 minutes. Bottom Line: During one of the most stressful situations in my life, Marc made me feel relaxed.

Our HOA contracted with Charles Fenton to pursue a claim with the developer of our community. The claim is still ongoing, however, it is clear that we made the correct decision in contracting with this attorney. I think that we would have in a disastrous situation had we not contract with him because many construction defects were uncovered in the course of pursuing our claim. My husband and I consulted with Tim Revero regarding a TRO that was falsely brought against my husband by a family trying to intimidate us from looking any further into a criminal situation that their son was involved in. They had intentionally and passive agressively escalated the situation and we didn't understand why until we were served the TRO. We had done nothing wrong yet they twisted things to make it look like evidence of harassment..when they were actually the ones harassing us. We were so blindsided by this that we didn't know where to begin on how to respond to this case. He walked us through every aspect. He listened intently to our situation..reviewed our evidence..and explained how to not only defend ourselves against their false accusations but how to present the evidence so that the court could easily understand the course of events. He was very knowledgeable and insightful as he reviewed our statements and helped us organize our information, anticipating what the judge would need to know from us to better understand how this came about. He helped us use their own evidence to tell our story. He also prepared us on what we might expect once in court so that we felt confident going forward. We went into this completely feeling overwhelmed and Tim helped us come out on the other side with complete confidence that we could show the court the reality of the situation and turn this attack against into a case that would show the court that we'd actually been the victims from the very beginning. While we hope never to be in another court situation like this..I can tell you that if we are I know the first person I intend to call. Thanks again!!

We recently updated our estate documents with Laury Macauley, Esq. We have had trusts for over four decades and have worked with a number of attorneys over the years. After moving to Reno Nevada, a community property state, we needed an update. We contacted a number of estate attorneys. Almost all had 60+ page boiler plate trust templates into which they inserted relevant individualized information but most of these bloated documents had information that does not and never will be relevant to us. Such large trusts are cumbersome and inefficient since during settlement, parties must read everything to be sure something important is not missed. We wanted a more personalized straightforward trust which eliminated all the bloat, unnecessary legal jargon, generation skipping wording, minor dependents, dependent trusts, etc. etc. Laury agreed to work with us to accomplish what we wanted…estate documents relevant to our situation written in a straightforward manner. In the end our very comprehensive trust is 22 pages long. We found her to be bright, helpful, knowledgeable and ethical. She was among a very few lawyers willing to help us create what WE wanted rather than something off the shelf. This took extra time so the process did extend over 2 months but we are extremely pleased. We would definitely recommend Ms. Macauley without reservation to others.
