Mr.Tanner was my attorney at a very scary time. I was facing up to 10 years in prison for being

Howard Tanner is very well respected in his sphere, he knows ins and outs of the system with over 35 years of experience not just as an attorney, but as a prosecutor as well. Updated review. I cannot stress to anybody reading this enough: who you hire matters and you get what you pay for. Attorney’s have case after case slide across their desk. It’s a job at the end of the day to most. If Aaron Shapiro or the force that is Amanda Schaffer takes your case, TRUST THEM. Full disclosure: I am a nightmare client. On a scale from 1-10, I’m an 11 in terms of annoying. My son is my absolute world. I have been a “white pony” more times than you can imagine. Over-billed. None of it made sense. Those attorneys cared about a paycheck. Aaron and Amanda are not only EXCELLENT attorneys, they’re good people. They have a backbone. Their time is valuable. They’re not cheap. Know that. He had me sign the retainer, pay almost $7000 and disappeared. He did not show up in court saying I still had to sign a form. I never received said form and he stopped answering altogether. I cannot believe he would do this to families in need of help.

Several years ago I suffered an unfortunate accident while traversing the streets of NYC. The incident resulted in severe injuries that landed me in a hospital emergency room in excruciating pain and in a cast for several months thereafter, and a plethora of doctors appointments and follow up visits. Not a very good law firm you speak to a very knowledgeable very intelligent person at first and then you get stuck with another attorney that does not fully handle the situation properly. Then adds fees can't show up on time and does not do exactly what you asked from the first point of contact before the retainer was even placed. They ask for more money much like trying to hire a contractor you hire I'm thinking they're going to do the work and then when they get to start the work they claim they need more money. Even though it was claimed in the beginning exactly what was needed.

I decided to hire Mr. Bartlett for my DWI case after he was referred to me by multiple people as I searched for an attorney. I am so happy I did. He was always reachable and got back to me within minutes. First, we had a DMV refusal hearing with the DMV court which he was remarkably able to get dismissed !!!! This was huge for me because no matter the outcome of the DWI case my license would’ve been suspended for a year.
