Talked with Mr. Hanes about items we have for mom who lives in Oklahoma. About 30 minutes on the phone and he got us straightened out to where we feel more comfortable about that time of passing when it gets here. He called us back the same day we left a message. He was very direct and very clear on what we still needed to do.

Mr Hanes is very calculated and extremely thorough in his work. He represented me in a nasty custody case against a “lawyered-up” ex wife. He took the time to truly understand all the issues. David Hanes was able to anticipate problems in this case and preemptively address them. I know nothing of the court process but looking back I can see where he was protecting me at every turn. I called twice, 1st time took my # and never recieved a call back. 2nd time, took my number and the "receptionist" I guess she was took my # AGAIN and quickly told me "your probably NOT going to get a call back till right b4 your court date!" ......wait, what?? Why?? I mean I understand it's a "court appointed" attorney but I would think, I should be able to call or get a call back from MY attorney if I have legitimate concerns or questions about MY case....right?? So since she informed me I wasn't going to be able to "talk to my attorney" I asked her 1 of my questions... "what web site would I go to look up more on the Title 14 Charge I got and she commenced to tell me "you can't just look those up, they are for Attorneys ONLY" LMAO! Then thank goodness someone was standing by her and corrected her and said "No, she is allowed to look them up on line" (more or less in those words)......I said "I know, can u tell me the correct web site" to look them up?! And she said "I don't know...."😳🫣 Oh Dear God! I may be in trouble.....

BUYERS BEWARE!
As a client who sought legal assistance from Eddie Valdez, I am compelled to express my profound disappointment and frustration with the services provided. My experience with Mr. Valdez was marked by a glaring lack of communication, exorbitant fees, and a complete disregard for my concerns and inquiries regarding my case.
From the outset, I entrusted Eddie Valdez with the task of representing me in a legal matter pertaining to matters involving my personal property. Despite assurances of diligent representation, the reality was starkly different. Throughout the duration of my legal proceedings, communication from Mr. Valdez was virtually nonexistent. Phone calls and texts went unanswered, leaving me in a state of perpetual uncertainty and anxiety regarding the progress of my case.
Compounding this egregious lack of communication was the exorbitant fee of $1700 charged by Eddie Valdez for my representation. Despite the hefty financial investment, the return on this investment was abysmal, to say the least. Eddie Valdez provided little to no substantive assistance in facilitating the return of my property, effectively rendering the exorbitant fee unjustifiable.
Moreover, Eddie Valdez demonstrated a shocking lack of professionalism by blatantly ignoring my attempts at correspondence and failing to address my direct inquiry regarding their continued representation. This disregard for basic client communication not only undermined the integrity of my case but also reflected poorly on Eddie Valdez's commitment to ethical and responsible legal practice.
In essence, my experience with Eddie Valdez can only be described as a gross misrepresentation of legal representation. The lack of communication, coupled with exorbitant fees and a blatant disregard for client concerns, has left me profoundly disillusioned with the legal profession as a whole.
In conclusion, I would strongly caution anyone considering enlisting the services of Eddie Valdez to proceed with extreme caution. The level of unprofessionalism and incompetence demonstrated throughout my interaction with Eddie Valdez is simply unacceptable. As a client who entrusted and paid for Eddie Valdez’s services with a matter of utmost importance, I am deeply disappointed and regretful of my decision to do so.
UPDATE: This review was initially posted in May of 2024 after posting, this attorney Eddie Valdez reached out to me in an effort to coerce me to take down this review. I conceded and initially took the review down because he had promised to actually do his job for me. It is now October of 2024, he still has not done his job nor has he fulfilled what I paid him $1,700 to do. Even after the matter he continues to be unprofessional, unproductive, and does not want you to see his negative reviews. So in an effort to give the people the truth i am reposting my review here, and i will be contacting our states department of justice to file a complaint. THIS GUY IS NOT AN ATTORNEY YOU WANT TO HIRE. I attached screenshots of our interaction where he specifically mentions not wanting to do his job because I posted a negative review, I also attached a screenshot of him telling me he wasn’t going to do his job because of my intention to repost my review. Just keep in mind, this is someone who is supposed to be a professional. All I asked for was good communication, and he made me seem as though I was asking too much.

TODAY I received my "Exhaustion of Benefits" letter from my previous auto insurance, so now is a good time for my review. I had three lawyers, a legal assistant AND ended up being referred to an out of state attorney (due to my out of state policy) work on my auto accident/personal injury case. In the end I was convinced to settle below policy limits of the AT FAULT driver's auto insurance. I was VERY hesitant to do this because I had never been in car accident like this and wasn't sure what care would be needed in the future. Little did I know how much this decision to settle would haunt me physically, emotionally and financially. The turn over with the legal staff at the time of my case was a red flag, but I was a year plus in. I was frustrated by what the attorney (Tanner France) at the time was doing on my case that I said I would start working on it as well. HE AGREED. Let that sink it! I didn't. I sent numerous emails with my concern of how my case was being handled to Woody. He was always professional and addressed them timely and I assumed with Mr. France since things would finally start to progress. I recently asked for my case file and when reviewing it I found another client's information in it. I am grateful my car accident did not result in more injuries, but should have never settled while still receiving treatment. I should have been referred to the out of state attorney from the beginning.

Had me sit in jail for one whole month and said the DA had video evidence of me committing the crime. Was filed as a misdemeanor then changed to a felony? Marty said if I wanted to fight it that I’d have to sit in jail for three more months before the Pre-Trail date then another six months before the trial starts. Then claimed I’d be found guilty and go to prison for years. He recommended I plead guilty to everything I was charged with so I could get out of jail, so I did. Right after I got out I called him and asked to review our discovery and the “evidence” the DA had, mainly just wanted to see the video that I didn’t think existed cause I didn’t commit this crime. Well it turned out there was no video!! I sat in jail for 30 days with absolutely no evidence against me and this pos Attorney had me plea guilty! I withdrew my plea and was never charged again. You couldn’t pay me to have this incompetent man represent me ever again.

Signed a contract with this Attorney after being illegally fired for getting injured at work. Christina Cupp had my file for over 10 months & never Filed my case with the Court. She told my family & I on a phone call ,she may have a conflict of interest representing me. She informed us she was doing work for one of the 3rd party administrators of my WC claim.
When the final deadline approached for filing & CC had not filed yet; I questioned if the delay was due to the conflict of interest.
Instead of just being honest & clarifying her representation of my claim, she got very angry at my questioning her & fired me as a client.
Because of her delay in filing we were not able to retain a replacement Attorney in time to file my case & sue for wrongful discharge. The out of state company that broke a Oklahoma Labor Law for firing me while still under a Doctor’s care, basically got away with it because of this Attorney’s lack of ability to be honest & forthcoming. To make things worse she set up a scenario to make it seem it was my fault because I questioned her reason for not filing my case with the Court.
There are many honest well intentioned Attorney’s in Oklahoma, but avoid hiring this one.
