Mike was referred by another law firm that just didn't want anything to do with my case. In a county that is notorious for creating criminals out of everyday people, Mike was able to take the sting out of their bite. He has the ability to 'dumb the law' down to the level that we normal people can understand it. Never in my life would I have ever considered being a scumbag attorney, but I would consider being the kind of attorney or person that Mike Reed is. He wont win every case in this county, its not his fault, this is a very biased county, but he will try, and he will have success. I am truly grateful to the years of work that Mike has, and on occasion, still gives towards helping me deal with the revolving door that some call Justice. Sometimes life isn't fair, and the law certainly isn't, but when you're frustrated with your case and your mind starts to spiral, Mike will reel you in and get you to focus on what good can come out of your fight. I would recommend Michael Reed and I have. He was a God sent in a divorce case of mine more then 25
years ago. I was in an ugly divorce that had taken more then 3 years when I was rescued from the situation by Michael. I had to fire the first attorney for lack of everything and he showed me how to get the settlement that I needed to get the divorce settled. Since then he has helped my son , my sister in law, and my brother in law. He help me with my Mothers estate and I will recommend him to help with making the process of court and all the paper work that comes with it. He is very good at getting the situation final quickly., I think he is great.

In the last 40 years, I have hired several lawyers for different cases I have had, from simple traffic ticket, tenant-landlord issues, to divorce, and recently a civil law suit against PA State Trooper Police (for beating me up to bloody face, only for not showing ID, and that is when I was sitting in my car off the road in a private property, and was talking on my cell phone).
I found Mike Reed to be very knowledgeable and good in effective handling of witnesses in trial. In one-to-one contact/relationship, he clearly explained and educated me in every step of the process. He even, advised me in some of my other personal matters that had no relations with the case that I had hired him for (without any charge, simply, like a good and caring friend). In integrity, trustworthy, and personal belief of human valves, I found him an advanced person.
These words come from a man with advanced education, has his own engineering business, and has dad several poor experiences with some other lawyers. A man who Particularly, found most divorce lawyers to fuel the fire and prolong the case, so they can milk a lots of extra money from their clients, the two losers who want to legally end their sad relationship (I wanted to give my divorce case to him, but he was not comfortable taking the case from another lawyer in the middle of process). Also, I happen later to meet a lady who had Mike as her lawyer in the past. She said, "oh, Mike is your lawyer, he is a very good lawyer and can make friendship and honest relationship with his clients"

These guys tried their best to sue me, they made false claims for the amount of medical their client got and then got snooty with me when I pointed it out. I single handedly crushed them in arbitration with no representation no lawyer, just me myself and I. What a win and a major L for them, they could not handle what I was bringing to the table. LOL

Cant say enough good things about this firm. They kept us informed about our case some of case is still ongoing but the workmans comp part is settled. After the lose of my father in a tractor trailer accident and being a only child so the brunt of keeping it together for my poor mother along with some help of friends and family it has been a upward climb plus dealing with the company my dad worked for at first i just didn't know what was going to happen to everything my dad worked for for 45 years and what was my mom going to do i didn't want her to have to sell the house or anything aspeciely when it wasn't his fault. Our attorney traveled back and forth between Pittsburgh and dubois pa to make it easier on my mom he made her so at ease and even did court threw zoom, we never had to leave our house. Its not over theres still things to figure out but mom will be taken care of and dads legacy will live on thak you Rhett for all your help i can't say enough to show my gratitude .

Judicial Ethics Alert
It’s important to know that Magisterial District Judges in Pennsylvania are prohibited from practicing law while serving on the bench. This rule ensures that judges remain impartial and fully dedicated to their judicial duties. Here are some of the key guidelines:
1. Pennsylvania Code of Judicial Conduct
Canon 3: Judges must avoid impropriety and the appearance of impropriety in all of their activities.
Canon 4 and Rule 4.1(A)(8): Judges are not permitted to practice law. This applies to all judicial officers, including Magisterial District Judges. Practicing law while holding a judicial office would present a direct conflict of interest and compromise judicial impartiality.
2. Pennsylvania Rules of Judicial Administration
Rule 15-206 (Magisterial District Judges): This rule specifically restricts Magisterial District Judges from practicing law or having any employment that could conflict with their judicial duties. This rule is designed to ensure that judicial officers dedicate their time and efforts solely to their judicial responsibilities.
3. Pennsylvania Judicial Conduct Board (JCB) Enforcement
The JCB enforces compliance with judicial ethics and can investigate complaints about judges who violate these rules. If a Magisterial District Judge were found practicing law, they would be subject to disciplinary action, which could include suspension, fines, or removal from office.
4. State Constitution and Statutory Law
Under Article V, Section 17 of the Pennsylvania Constitution, judges, including Magisterial District Judges, are restricted from holding other offices or positions that could interfere with their judicial duties.
42 Pa.C.S. § 3304: Prohibits judges from engaging in the practice of law or from conducting activities that could lead to conflicts with judicial duties.
In summary, Pennsylvania law is explicit that magistrates or Magisterial District Judges cannot practice law concurrently with their judicial duties. If there is evidence of a magistrate engaging in both roles, it could be grounds for filing a complaint with the Judicial Conduct Board of Pennsylvania, leading to potential disciplinary measures.

Paid $2500 for ONLY the preliminary hearing and she did nothing. Couldn’t even get him bond. She did not put up a fight nor did I feel she had his best interest during the case. Even worse she had no communication with us and was showing up late. I wouldn’t recommend her ever at all. We consulted with a different lawyer who said even said she didn’t do anything he shouldn’t still be in jail because it was an illegal search! He would be out if she did her job. I honestly can’t believe how bad she was. ( AND THE DEFENDANT IS STILL IN JAIL!)

She acted like the da and not my attorney and in court I did most of the talking thank god or I would’ve went upstate for a dui!!! Don’t waste your money!! She’ll say all the right things and answer your calls and texts before you pay her and once you pay you’ll feel straight up abandoned! In the courtroom you can tell she’s extremely new or just plain not very good!! Beware of this lady, she’s no good! If I could give her zero stars I would!

Don’t waist your money with Angelo. He is all talk at first and plays a very good story as the best attorney in the area, but realistically is the absolute worst. Paid 1500$ toward a retainer and as soon as we went to court he didn’t even show up and sent a different attorney. Thank goodness that attorney could save the day.
