I cannot say enough wonderful things about this firm and Attorney Martin Scheller. He went above and beyond my expectations and was able to take on my case with very little notice (were talking like 2 weeks before court). Not only was he professional, he told me what I didn't want to hear and kept brutally honest with me, which I needed and appreciated. He was able to WIN my case and more! His office staff was amazing and always available which kept me at ease through my processes as well which was much needed! I highly recommend and will use again, but hopefully I wont need to. I never thought that I would be in the position where I would need a liability attorney. But, given the unfortunate situation that I was in, I was absolutely blessed to be introduced to Mr. Crist and have him as my lawyer. I did not know Mr. Crist before I hired him to represent me. To say that he fights for his client just doesn't do him the justice that he deserves. He was an absolute pit bull in making sure that I received everything that I was entitled to. He was never satisfied until every, and I mean EVERY stone was unearthed to ensure that he had done everything that could be done to satisfy my interest. He always kept me informed; I never felt that I was lost in terms of how things were going. If, I am ever in the predicament again that required Mr. Crist' services, he will be the first person that I call. Although my injuries are looking more and more like they will stay with me for the unforeseeable future, I am at peace in large part due to his representation..

After attempting to work directly with the insurance companies and getting nowhere, working with Sethi and Sledd was one of the best decisions I could have made. Once it was in their hands I did not have to worry about any of the details and they were able to resolve my claim quickly. I highly recommend both Gobind and Samantha. I am a business owner who uses attorneys from time to time. Jim Lang is the best. He helped me fix a big problem I had at the VMRC on a matter of great importance to me. This was not a simple case so it turned into a 4 year journey. Over that entire time Jim was always smart, tenacious, experienced, a great listener, and (most importantly) caring. A lot of road blocks popped up over the life of my case. Jim figured out a way over, around or through each one. Jim's deep contacts at the agency, and the credibility he has built up over his many years representing clients before the VMRC, turned out to be a resource that was very helpful in getting my case resolved in highly favorable terms. I was convicted of assault and battery and I didn’t know which law firm to go with. I found Josue Casanova after I did a google search of criminal lawyers in my area. After speaking with him, I decided to hire him as my lawyer and it was the best decision I could have made. He met with me about 5 times in the span of two months for a significant amount of time and spent a lot of time on my case outside of our appointments. He was attentive, showed that he genuinely cared, and was very personable. He was able to settle outside of court on my behalf and get me what I wanted out of the case. Mr. Painter is by far the most thorough investigator and aggressive criminal defense attorney I have seen. He successfully suppressed the evidence in my case, effectively cross examined the Commonwealth's witnesses and, after motioning the Court to have a special hearing regarding a confidential informant and law enforcement, got the charges dismissed.

The co-defendant in my case wanted to fire his attorney and have Mr. Painter represent both of us, although Mr. Painter informed us that this was not in either of our best interests. I received a misdemeanor charge in a different state, which I was not convicted of. Unfortunately, the pending charge resulted in Fairfax County denying my CCW permit renewal without cause or due process. I found Mr. Frazer on VCDL's website and gave him a call to see if he could help me. Not only was his experience in firearms law vast and impressive, he also took a genuine interest in the application of law within this situation. He offered to work on either an hourly or flat fee, which was helpful as well. He kept in constant contact with me regarding both the case status as well as any information he might need from me. Mr. Frazer presented all legal options to me during the process. For example, should we have lost, it was wise to have a stenographer there so we would have a court record to appeal the decision. When we arrived at court, he presented a very well researched, developed and precedented argument. The judge was very impressed and agreed my case was "very well founded." John really helped me out, and was professional, honest and up front about the entire process. He helped me renew my permit which was denied on false grounds to begin with. I'm positive he is not only a good lawyer, but a good man, and has a firm grasp of the Constitution and the applied law associated with it.

This woman fights for whether you've hired her or she's be appointed to you by the court. In my case she was court appointed and she fought for me. It wasn't like the same old song and dance with her in Tazewell County by my side.
