My husband and I, along with our son are absolutely positive that we selected the best attorney to represent and help our son! Mr. Holt met with us and gave meaningful explanations. Most people heavily slant their ratings of attorneys for divorce and custody cases based on emotions tied to the outcome. Well, I was unhappy with the outcome of my case, but I am still giving a very strong endorsement to my attorney, Mr. Yale Lewis.
He always kept me informed, solicited my feedback and explained what he was going to do and why. His rational was always sound. He found a creative path forward during adequate cause that worked well. During the trial itself, he did a remarkable job of representing the situation as it happened and tying it to the law. He was able to point to the many holes in the opposing side’s portrayal of the situation. Before the judge’s verdict, I was very hopeful of the outcome. But as is often the case, the judge is the wildcard and brings in their own biases and interpretations of the law and weighs each piece of admitted evidence accordingly, often trying not to upset the apple cart. It is disappointing but understandable that they try to find every reason to keep the status quo.
So what did I like about Yale that wasn’t mentioned above? Honesty, integrity, directness, he invested in understanding my case, and was far more knowledgeable about my family dynamics then my previous attorney. Yale was unafraid to give me honest opinions to determine my path going forward. Yale built a good case and he presented it well, and that is the best I could hope for.

I wrote to Lorna at the end of my 2.5-year custody battle - "Words are inadequate to express my gratefulness", and it's true. Lorna has been on my side for that long, not only as my counsel, but to me, also a friend, and a mentor.
I remember talking to a dozen attorneys who all turned down my case because of its complexity - a divorce that invovled domestic violence, dependency, immigration, and relocation - yet Lorna was the only attorney that took genuine interest in my case, and she did not even charge me for our first 2-hour consultation. She actually read through over 3000 pages of my dependency case. She always responds promptly, sometimes even after office hours, she is thorough and detailed, insightful and empathic. She remained a delightful spirit despite my ex's constant threats, harassment, and accusation directed at her.
Even though I could not continue to afford her representation toward the end of my case, and chose to represent myself in a 3-day trial, she guided me through every step to make sure I was prepared and capable. And I won, even with some extra icing on the cake I did not expect. The judge said he has not seen anyone go pro-se without an attorney and could carry out the whole trial like I did in his 14 years of experience, but I credited Lorna for her guidance. I couldn't have done it without her. She encouraged me and believed in me even when I doubted myself - unlike those lawyers on Avvo who always tell you that you are screwed if you're going to trial alone. Talking to her always made me feel better. She went above and beyond for me from beginning to end like no others, and for that I'm forever grateful for everything she has done for me.

I hired Mr Weinzierl for help with long term payment issues and child support for my son about to go to college. I am nearly 10 years post divorce with an abuser who will not stop for nothing. Rob is really calming when the ex triggers the PTSD. He knows things are upsetting but he guides with what feels like a bit of love and logic. If you have ever dealt with a truly pathological person you know how crazy they can make a legal case. There is almost nobody who understands the abuse dynamics in family law. My firm hired Jake when one of our clients wired funds to a scammer in a wire fraud situation. I found him after searching the internet most of the night and determined that he might be the guy that I was looking for to help us. When money is wired to a fraudster the likely-hood of recovery goes down by the hour, knowing this, I called Jake before he was out of bed, leaving him a message. He returned my call within 15 minutes, and I began explaining our situation to him, to say that he hit the ground running would be an understatement. He didn't talk about fees or payment, that was not his concern, he was interested in helping us and knew what needed to be done and fast. After gathering the needed information from me, in an efficient manner, he quickly got in touch with our client and started working his connections from his time in government to halt the further transfer of money. He had people assisting him at the every level of government including the secret service, he was focused on doing whatever it took to get our money back and he knew that certain people had better odds of assisting in that outcome. At the end of a long and stressful day, Jake called and informed me that the 109k would be returned to our client in the next couple of days. I am 100% certain that without his help, the result would have been different. Your situation, may differ from what we used Jake for, however it would be difficult for me to believe that Jake's strategy development, sharp decision making, connections combined with his willingness to take action quickly would not be the type of attributes that solve most problems.

Even when things got a little sticky in my first time DUI case, Mike knows the right things to bring up and knows how to handle what gets thrown at him. I’m impressed by the confidence, composure and knowledgeability. He knows the right people, which is the biggest name of the game because if you don’t, you don’t have a defense. I’m thoroughly content with how he handled my case and if you are in the south sound area I would strongly advise to at least consult with the guy. At a fair price I doubt there are much better options. My only problem was lack of communication within his own office. I wasn’t able to get ahold of him as much as I would’ve liked to (since he’s busy handling business), and it seemed like one of his representatives didn’t have as much experience but Mike still handled it well.
