She was a court appointed lawyer in my TPR appeal case and that's exactly what i got. We spoke over the phone ONE time and had only contact through email(if she would respond). Her brief had errors within the first page and lacked key point. I lost my appeal and now she doesn't email me back or make good with her word regarding last visit with my son. If i could give her less than one star i would. Hope your experience is better than mine.

Five stars doesn’t feel like enough to give this team, so I encourage you to read this entire review as what happened to my family was life-changing. Three years ago, my husband had a routine surgery and developed severe complications just hours following. The lack of care received following his surgery ultimately impacted our entire future. My husband is permanently disfigured and his relationship with myself and our children was deeply fractured. The most successful, authentic, and genuine firms and entities are the ones with almost all 5-Star reviews and a few 1 Star reviews.... There has never been more incentive than to discredit good attorneys seeking to defend the people in a city stacked with Fortune 500 companies, lawyers, and interests. The people at this firm are brilliant individuals that could easily be working in DC if they wanted to, but choose to support the community they operate in.....these painfully fake reviews just show how out of touch these hedge fund players and their lackeys are with reality.

Dealing with custody matters are tough enough to go through, time is of the essence and you need your hired team to represent swiftly and aggressively so that life can move forward and you can rest with your family again. You add trusting and spending your hard earned money only to end up picking the wrong lawyer to represent this sensitive matter is a total setback for the children first as well as the parents. Katelyn was very unprofessional, lazy and very inexperienced in the compassion department to say the least. I simply asked her to get the ball rolling & keep us updated after we paid the retainer fees and submitted her requested paperwork because we hadn't heard back. She quickly responded with a few lame excuses followed by "We can just refund your deposit ". My gut feeling was not to work with her from the start it felt like we were just a number on the pile and that she was very green and not aggressive driven to help get the job done, turns out by her response above, I was correct. I applied for the Human Resources Assistant position with Stinson, LLP in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in August 2024. I was called the next day after applying via their online job application on their website. My initial telephone interview was with Chelsea L. Clennan, Director of Human Resources for Stinson, LLP, who's located in their Wichita, Kansas office. Chelsea was immediately complimenting me, telling me that any employer would be lucky to have me, that my skillsets are perfect for the role, that they would move quick for me in the recruitment process, they would make same-day job offers if needed-- immediately raising red flags for me that she was not a genuine person. She immediately moved me on to the second and final stage of the hiring process: the final interview with the hiring manager, the HR manager of the Minneapolis office-- both of whom reported to Chelsea. My suspicions of Chelsea would prove correct when, all the sudden, after letting her know after my final interview on Friday afternoon that I did have another offer, which I'd received the day prior, Chelsea responded to my email quickly, letting me know her and her hiring team would meet on Monday. In her email to me, which I've attached, she even told me her team considered me a top candidate. Monday came and went-- nothing, crickets. Tuesday, I received the attached screen shot email, letting me know they'd meet later that day. I replied, thanked her for keeping me in the loop, even further expressing my gratitude for keeping in touch with me and making me feel respected and valued. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday -- absolute radio silence from Chelsea L. Clennan. I sent a polite follow up email Friday afternoon-- again, I had been ghosted. Not a single reply or word from Chelsea or her team ever since -- despite her shtick of "you're a top candidate" and "we move quickly." I shudder to think how Stinson, LLP employees -- whether in Minneapolis or Kansas -- are treated if Chelsea treated a job applicant -- me -- with what I felt like was pure garbage and disrespect. Personally, I do not recommend Stinson as a place to work based on my experience as a job candidate and how I feel I was treated. When people like the human resources director show you their true colors-- believe them.

I walked in alone to a hearing riddled with anxiety and uncertainty, with no legal representation. Not knowing what was going to be my outcome, especially over a situation that should not have even been brought to a level where court would have been involved, I requested a court appointed attorney. I have never lucked out so much in my entire life than I did that day. Stinson Law firm just so happened to be providing pro bono work that morning and took my case. The two attorneys I worked with not only helped me feel validated in my disbelief that I was even there, but also were the most knowledgeable powerhouse of representation I could have ever asked for. If I were to sum it all up in 3 reasons why I would recommend them to anyone, it would be: Top notch negotiation skills, an unmatched knowledge of the law surrounding my scenario, and for being the most personable, down to earth people, to have the pleasure of working with.

I hired him 3 months ago and he talked to me until I signed to my case. I called to have him call back because insurance was wanting me to sign away my health records and got no response. Lost my job called to talk, no response. Called after 7th non return call and asked if he would let me drop him, no answer. Beware

Rachhana was my initial and only contact during a very long legal process. She flew to another state where I was living just for a few hours in order to meet me and gather facts. She could have managed the initial interview over the phone but went the extra mile (well hundreds of miles) to make it more personal. She had to make several long trips/flights in order to gather information and complete this case. This is an attorney who is passionate about the causes/cases she fights for. Although, she was very busy she would return my calls (within reason-a day or two but I never once wondered if I or the case had been forgotten or if she would call me back), she answered all my questions and explained every development step by step. Rachhana was professional and honest. Her knowledge about multiple state and federal laws, the legal system and case process was amazing. While I am sure she had other cases to work on it never seemed as though she stopped working on my case. I truly cannot say enough about her as an attorney (exceeds all intelligence standards) or as a person (just an overall wonderful person). I have had other legal questions and while I wouldn't expect her to take time out of her busy schedule to answer just any random question, she did. I would recommend Rachhana Srey as the number one attorney to call in her area of expertise.

Based on my personal experience with Rachhana Srey at Nichols Kaster, I would unequivocally & without reservation recommend enlisting her and her firm in legal representation for all matters regarding employee rights as afforded under FLSA. Prior to contacting any law firm, I had done my own extensive research in FLSA to fully understand the extent in which my former employer had violated the law with regard to exempt & nonexempt classification. Once I was certain I had done my homework, had a thorough understanding of the law, & gathered up the requisite documentation to support a claim, I began to search for representation. I made numerous phone calls & had several meetings with law firms claiming to have extensive knowledge & experience in the area of employee rights, only to discover these so-called experts really didn’t understand nor interpret the law the way it was written. That is, however, until I spoke with Rachhana. Rachhana interviewed me over the phone & right away I felt she had a knowledge & understanding of FLSA that expanded on the research I had done & my own understanding of the law & my rights under the law. Immediately after our conversation, Rachhana set up a face to face meeting to discuss in length the potential case and its various outcomes. During the entire process of representing me & my fellow co-workers, she & her staff worked diligently to reach an out-of-court settlement with my former employer that was both fair & equitable to all parties. She is an excellent negotiator with a thorough understanding of the law that I would not only recommend, but also use again in the future if warranted.

Sent this to the attorney's office since I have been unable to contact you for 5 weeks: To whom it may concern: On May 18, 2024 I reached out to Northstar Legal Group for help consolidating my loans. My enrolled debt amounted to 31,536.14. I agreed to pay Northstar legal group 571.00 a month for their services. I was instructed to avoid answering all calls from debt collectors while a team of legal personnel would be negotiating on my behalf a settlement with them. Time progresses and I continued to pay 571.00 monthly. On 12/9/2023 a loan was taken out by Northstar Legal Group through Versara Lending for a total of 18,200.00 under my name. My payments of 571.00 a month are now being directed to Versara Lending. To this very day there has been no progress in a settlement for a loan of 22,000.00 through Lending club, a loan I enrolled with Northstar Lending Group. I am receiving multiple calls on a daily basis from debt collectors. Calls are even coming to my work- a hospital operating room control desk reserved solely for surgical matters and concerns. My credit score is completely shot. Everytime I try and reach out to Northstar Legal Group I am put on hold for over 45 minutes and am never connected to anybody. The one time someone answered the phone she pretended not to hear me. I never get replies through their Northstar portal app and never get replies via email aside from please "call us". Today August 17th 2024 I drove an hour to their office on Washington ave Minneapolis. Their website said they were open until 5pm. I could not even find an entrance to their office. I am so concerned financially. Do I continue paying 571.00 a month indefinitely? Please, please help me. Thank you so much! Sincerely Dominic Bourbeau

I am a local immigration attorney who needed some legal counsel from this firm. They came highly recommended by another well known attorney. Unfortunately, this firm is a HUGE disappointment to all consumers alike. I hope someone at big business reads this review. There is no onboarding process for this firm. None. You are at the mercy even as a colleague of poorly trained staff and assistants to get someone to pay attention to your case. The communication with this firm has been awful. Emails unanswered. Phone calls ignored. The firm waisted about 2.5 months of my client's case only to send a snarky response that they decline to represent, which is not what we were looking for (we needed a second opinion on case value). The employee (law clerk) who was assigned to our case left midway our project. No one got back to us on that. In sum, take your business elsewhere as I would say this firm has a chronic internal management problem that will continue into representation. If my prospective clients in my firm were treated this way, I would be fired on the spot and rightfully so. If my staff treated anyone the way we were treated, they would be fired on the spot as well for cause. Take note!
