We used Adam a few years ago to help us consolidate several loans (one of which was in default) and discover redundancies. Turns out one loan was not valid and Adam saw that it was removed from our obligations. He's the best as what he does. If you're lost, give him a try.

When it comes to hiring an attorney for student loan issues, Adam Minsky is the best choice. From the time I read his articles on the subject to when I first spoke with him I knew my decision to contact him was correct. For a reasonable retainer fee he was able to straighten out my student loan situation and helped make complex issues easy to understand. He is nice and personable and a true expert on student loans. I could not have asked for more.

After a car accident that resulted in negative points on my records and many problems, I found myself in Brazil sorting out personal matters when I received a summons letter for a hearing.

It seems the only way I get a call back from this firm is when I leave a bad review. It’s been almost 3 years and my case is still not settled. Every time I call, I get the run around with “they are in a meeting”. THREE YEARS. This is ridiculous. Don’t take on more cases if you can’t even settle the ones you have open!!

Not sure about you, but I wouldn’t want an attorney that prioritizes their relationship with the opposing side over a client. This is especially true when the other side lied in writing. But go for it. Maybe him being friends with the person destroying your life is what you want. Not me. I want an attorney who will call it out.

I love this law firm. Everyone is friendly and nice, however one lawyer stood out among all others. S. Berman was friendly and kind, he is a genius in his craft, although he is little pricy. I commend his expert skills in dealing with my case, I will use him again if needed.

I cannot recommend Sugarman and Sugarman enough. A few years ago I was involved in a car accident. I had never experienced anything like this situation, and Sugarman and Sugarman were amazing to work with. Marianne LeBlanc was extremely patient, thorough and helpful throughout this process. She was very comforting in a scary situation. Her and her paralegal Emily went above and beyond to fight for my case, never giving up or settling for less than I deserved. I got a call today from Neil sugarmen and I gotta say it was the most pathetic call I’ve ever had, probably the most cold hearted person I’ve ever talked to . If you are going through a malpractice case and are looking for a not only just a lawyer but a lawyer with a little more empathy and respect then this is not the place to go to . The call was so bad that I ended up just giving up and hanging up ..sickening

Definitely wouldn’t recommend. I had a slip and fall about 5 years ago… and just now got compensated, didn’t even get that much. In the time it took my injury suit closed out and settled, we went through an entire pandemic, I lost my father and my husband, I had a child, had a stroke, recovered from a stroke fully, was diagnosed with a heart condition and was no longer a minor. I still can’t believe how long it took. When I first called to start speaking with an attorney they said 12-18 months for payment and closure of the case. 5 YEARS later. Here we are. Wow. If you want a shark for an attorney who actually cares about you and your case, I don’t recommend Simon and Simon. Especially cause they took almost 2/3rds of my settlement money after I’ve been suffering for 5 years.
Today, I spoke to a gentleman from Simon and Simon after they had reviewed my review. We were able to have a conversation and spoke about the issues I had put above. He did tell me that he would speak to a few people about a communication issue and try to have that resolved in hopes this would help people in the future using Simon and Simon. As I appreciate the call and conversation about the issues I spoke of, I do not feel as if this review is wrong. I have chosen to keep this review up because even though I had a discussion with a representative, my issues still happened. And I do believe that other people should be made aware and have the opportunity to see how others were treated. I appreciate your time today, however I will not be removing this review. Thank you.

Benjamin Brooks worked with my family on an issue involving my daughter. He was extremely helpful from our initial phone conversation through representing my daughter at a college hearing. Mr. Brooks, at first, tried to help move a stalled process along in an expeditious manner through repeated contact with officials and with a minimal cost to us. When it became clear that more legal representation was necessary and with very little advance notice, Mr. Brooks agreed to represent my daughter at a formal hearing and provided us with a thorough overview and advance preparation. Due to the fact that my daughter has a disability, Mr. Brooks also worked with officials to make an exception that allowed my husband and me to participate at the hearing, greatly reducing my daughter’s stress level. Mr. Brooks made what could have been a stressful hearing easy to manage, and the issue was resolved quickly with the best possible outcome. I highly recommend Attorney Benjamin Brooks.

There has been many mistakes with my cases which led to delays and remakes. They messed up my wife’s greencard application 5 times that I had to figure out the issues and correct it and submit it again(this costed us 9 months). One of the most annoying experience was when they messed up the DS-260 of my mother’s application which led her to not get visa after interview and delayed her 3 more months. It is best to stay away from them if you want avoid remakes and long delays.
