Having decided to rewrite my will, I had to find a qualified attorney. After asking around and not finding anyone, I went online to look up lawyers in my area and read reviews. There were several that sounded good but either didn’t take the time to call me or requested that I make an appointment at $300 an hour.
Jay Fox was very gracious. He called me within an hour or two and we talked for maybe 20 minutes to a half hour. He assured me that he didn’t charge for this initial consultation, only if I decided to enlist his services.
He was so helpful and detail oriented, unlike me. He thought of everything that I didn’t. He turned an unpleasant chore into a satisfying outcome.
I highly recommend this man.

Our son was arrested by the Atlanta PD one evening in August 2019. I got a call at home at 1 am from the University Dean telling me he was in the Fulton County jail and had been charged with a felony. My son's entire future, reputation and education was at stake and we had no details of the events that led up to his arrest. After searching online for the best defense attorney I could find, I contacted Mr Weintraub at 7 am the following morning and he immediately went into action. He was able to get my son released the following day on a signature bond so that he would not miss any more classes. Over the next several weeks, Mr Weintraub and his fantastic private investigator gathered exculpatory evidence, interviewed witnesses and expertly navigated the case through the court system. Before the end of the year he was able to have the case entirely dismissed. I have no hesitation in recommending Howard Weintraub as a criminal defense attorney and cannot imagine what might have happened to our son if I had not made the call.

Excellent attorney willing to help those in need! Can’t say enough great things about her. She is kind and very knowledgeable at what she does. 100% look no further she’s the best! I was being sued by a bully debt collector for thousands, with multiple accounts needless to say I was under major distress. She calmed me down and explained the process. She got my case dismissed and accounts removed from my credit report!! She was willing to work with me on a payment plan and didn’t expect to be paid thousands in advance. Over commits and Under delivers. If you love apologies and excuses about how busy the attorneys life is, this is absolutely the best place to go. Email isn't read or responded to for months, when paperwork arrives there are mistakes in it, files are lost.
In fairness, I will note that the owner has been very sick and another attorney has been keeping the place afloat. Unfortunately, he is so unorganized that I can't believe he is doing a good job at any of it. Yet, the owner states she has his back 100%

I had a problem with a credit card company taking a debt settlement agreement that was made, but they took my money and sold my account to another company who then attempted to collect the remainder. I was lied to and needed justice. I talked to almost every civil lawyer in town and none would take my case. One told me that there just was not any money in it. I was more worried about my record being set straight rather than getting monetary damages. Monetary damages would just be a bonus. It turns out all those other lawyers just didn't have the knowledge or experience. They had no idea what to do. Mr. Roper took my case and he knew exactly what to do. I handed him all of my documentation and paid his retainer. He was kind enough to call me and give me status updates every few weeks even though I chose to not call him and let him concentrate on his work. A couple months later he won me a check for a couple thousand dollars. All I can say is that he was amazing. When no other lawyer had the time or experience to handle my case, he turned it into a chunk of money. When we split the money, his office manager noticed at the last minute that I was "overcharged" a couple hundred and re-did the paperwork. I would never have noticed (out of a couple thousand), but Mr. Roper was such a good partner that I sometimes feel like I should've let them keep the math error as a good tip for being a stand up guy. This guy has a lot of experience and is an honorable person to work with. If you choose to hire him as your partner and attorney on your case, I am glad to say that you have one of the best people on your team.

Paul was recommended to me when I took my sorority sister to be diagnosed by a psychiatrist for hallucinations. She lived two hours away, had no family and had never been to any doctors, so there was no one to catch the problem early . I looked at the Doctor and said, "ok what do I do now?". He handed me Paul's card and said that he thought I should call him.
Well, this was a Godsend. After talking with Paul, I knew exactly what I needed to do. I now have full responsibility for her and he has been with me the whole way from getting her diagnosed with dementia, to helping with all of the legal paperwork and consolidating the finances (after having to find all of them first!) and getting her moved in to an assisted living home where she is getting topnotch care. Jerry is a terrific lawyer. My son was questioned by Homeland Security agents on a Sunday of a 4th of July weekend. He found Jerry on the internet and called him. Jerry answered the phone, he was in his office. He met my son that day. My wife and I met with him later and he seemed to understand the process very well. We hired him. What a great attorney. He was knowledgeable, a skilled negotiator, very good in court, and dedicated to my son's case. He made himself 100% available, the guy answers his phone at any hour! We knew that my son was guilty, but after several meetings with the prosecutor and court hearings he struck an agreement. My son was looking at 8-10 years hard time. He is serving 18 months in a prison camp. We paid Jerry a good sum, but it was well spent. I would recommend him highly.
