We hired Jamie in 2018 and he represented us for over seven years as the plaintiffs in a very complicated landlord tenant dispute to prove our apartment was rent stabilized. Jamie was incredibly knowledgable about the law, and also tenacious in his defense of our claim. His motions were timely andwell written. We completely trusted his legal advice and knew he would not have us settle for anything that we were not completely comfortable with. He was always forthright and well-reasoned. He also knew when to push hard and when to try and find consensus among the parties. In the end, we decided a buy-out was our best option, but we never felt pushed into a decision. He is well respected by judges and attorneys on both sides of the aisle. When we told others in the legal field he was representing us they would often say I know of him, he is great. It was a pleasure to work with him all these years.

James Fishman was a godsend for me and my husband. We needed to break our Manhattan rental lease to move to a retirement community in North Carolina. New York State has a statute that allows seniors to do this under certain conditions that we met. However, breaking a NYC lease is not for the faintof heart because the penalties can be substantial. Additionally, we were concerned that the landlord’s representative would be difficult to deal with. I did my research and found Mr. Fishman and even was able to see a video of his testimony before a City Counsel housing committee.
We met with James virtually and found him to be accessible, quite knowledgeable, reassuring and easy to work with. He drafted the letter announcing our intent, the letter requesting the return of our security deposit, followed up on the security deposit and processed it through his escrow account, sending us the correct amount.
The very valuable thing James gave us was peace of mind.

David S. Rich was a valuable resource to me in my role as an independent data sciences consultant. He is very savvy about business situations. At one point I had signed a contract and Statement of Work with a software company. The company asked me to perform tasks without compensation, despite the Statement of Work. David advised me to bill the company for hours worked and cancel the contract. It was a good move because others I know later had problems with that company.
David is trustworthy and transparent about his scope of knowledge. Recently another attorney claimed that I had to redo a document, but I had my doubts. David did not know that answer. In less than a minute he looked up a journal article and explained a change in state standards. Whether you are an employee, employer, or business principal, he will guide you in the right direction.

To be perfectly clear I do not think that there is a smarter more effective litigator in the country. He has not represented me and won in federal court litigations, but also large scale arbs, and achieved results in both, as well as mediations, that well exceeded my wildest expectations. I had an extremely disappointing experience with Sharova Law. I trusted them with my case, but it quickly became clear that they were disorganized and lacked the expertise they claimed to have. Communication was poor throughout the process—I rarely received updates, and when I did, they were vague or last-minute. my case was shuffled through three attorneys, which two of them left the firm.
Despite paying a thousands of dollars, the firm failed to properly handle key aspects of my case, leading to unnecessary court delays and a poor outcome had I had stayed with the firm. I feel like my concerns were not taken seriously, and they seemed more focused on collecting fees than achieving results.
I would not recommend this firm to anyone seeking reliable legal representation. I regret trusting them with my case and would advise others to look elsewhere for a competent attorneys.

Middle of a tax audit and I was so over my head. The auditor was pretty mean and kept getting more and more aggressive and I was getting super scared of jail or tons of taxes I would never be able to pay back. My experience with Shapiro Legal Group PLLC WAS GREAT. I must say the representative that called me was very nice and he made me feel comfortable with the whole process and explained in detail how everything went from here. There's no amount of money that could buy out the suffering with headache's and everything else that goes along with the tumor, but the people (same people who made some COVID injections) (Pfizer) let millions of women get the Depo- Provera shot for over a decade while neglecting to label the side affect that it could cause brain tumors. At least they could do is compensate/ Settle out of court with us women who did develop a brain tumor due to their negligence

I was fortunate to have found Paul! I tasked him with writing my prenup, and he was attentive and helpful throughout the entire process. I had zero prior experience with marital law, and I came to him with a ton of loose ideas for what my partner and I were looking for in the document. I knew it would be a difficult task to come to an agreement between all parties, and draft a legal document that satisfied everyone’s interests, but Paul came through. We worked together, and I found him very personable and easy to work with. He was able to break-down complex topics easily for me to understand and was extremely meticulous. My Employer went with this firm during 2020 For my immigration services to file the 485 Application, They charged 3X than any other competent law firms but they delayed my application delays and costed me 4 years and nothing helped. They were supposed to send on 10/22 but sent on 10/30/2022 because they sent along with other applicants but we paid more fee. we fed hefty fee for bad advices and we regret going with this law firm.Hope this helps to others(It was only one application from our firm and paid as good as 3 you can understand the pain)
