Mr. Gerstenzang is the best at what he does. His extensive knowledge of the law added comfort to my legal journey. Mr. Gerstenzang exhuberated confidence with class throughout the legal process in and out of court. Every bit of his advice was spot on accurate and pertinent to the outstanding disposition I received from the court. Mr Gerstenzang provided an abundance of time to make case options clear, discussed legal strategies, shared exactly how the processes would unfold from beginning to end and did so with accuracy.
Without reservation, I highly recommend Mr. Gerstenzang for any criminal legal matters. I am confident he will provide nothing short of his absolute best.

Joe Gerstenzang was the best decision I could have made for myself regarding my legal trouble. He is forthright, accountable, proficient, communicative, and creative with his interpretation of the law.
I had a second DWI approximately one year after my first, and was looking down the barrel of some harsh and seemingly endless penalties. Joe made me feel extremely confident and well represented throughout the process and in the courtroom. And he was able to achieve the results I was hoping for.
My first impression was that Joe was realistic and honest with me. We went over my case, which had been delayed for 10+ months due to covid court closures. Joe was honest with me about how he thought my case looked, and we made decisions from there. The decisions we made felt collaborative and I always felt like my voice was heard, and my story was understood.
Proceeding from there, Joe was able to negotiate a deal that I found extremely generous.
One thing that really stood out to me:
Due to covid court closures where I live, I was not able to drive for a very long time, as my case had remained stagnant while my license revocation remained in place. By the time the courts opened back up, I was not set to get my license back for a long time. The court did not want to recognize this closure time as time served of any suspension. This is where Joe got creative.
I don't exactly know how he did it, but Joe was able to get creative with his interpretation of law. He got me on the road again. Had I hired a lesser lawyer, I may have been Uber-bound for another 6-12 months.
Joe was always in communication with me, always willing to talk on the phone. He took things seriously. This told me that he understood how serious these matters were for me. Even as my case seemed like it was set to wrap itself up, Joe was in contact about little small details that I would have not thought about.
I cannot recommend Mr. Gerstenzang enough.
I have known people who have hired lesser lawyers for DWIs in NY, most likely to save a bit of money, and I've heard horror stories. Whatever amount you save on a cheap lawyer, you will end up paying more in the long run, both with your wallet, time, and your peace of mind.

Joe helped me with a case that could have been life changing in the worst way. He is very professional, knowledgeable, personable and went way beyond the call of duty for me. I felt like I finally had someone in my corner when I felt isolated and it seemed like most of the known world was out to get me. Joe quickly became a lone torch holder showing me the way to safety when my world became very dark and scary. I can’t recommend him highly enough when you unexpectedly need to navigate your way through the often confusing legal system and are out of your element with possibly your freedom and reputation on the line. I, like many, have made some questionable decisions before in my life but trusting Joe was definitely the best decision I have made and worth every penny! Thank you joe, from me and my family. Good dude. I’ve never met somebody with so much integrity. However, that does make it complicated for him as a lawyer. I do believe he has legal talent. He just needs to fight for his clients more. Great consultation. Jonathan was very knowledgeable in what I needed help with and made me feel at ease. I spoke with several firms in that area and this firm was one of the 4 that I found to top my list. Before retaining the firm, called in and asked if I could break my payments into 2 payments (before the hearing) and was told NO, they absolutely don't do that which I can understand everyone has their policies but I need to know I am not just a dollar $ign and the firm I choose sees me as a person. I went with a different option.

I was going slightly over 80mph near the I-87 / I-90 interchange near Albany. I hired Mr. Kehoe based on a positive consultation. He offered to comp his fee if it went to trial. I ended up getting the ticket plead down to a parking ticket - non moving violation. I learned about fine around a week after my trial date. I am happy with the result.

We have used Randall on a few occasions over the course of 5 years for speeding tickets for teenage drivers. Randall allows us to handle over the phone or via email, allowing us to have a "paper trail" of all of our conversations. Randall has handled multiple incidents and we've also referred him to others that have used him as well. His handling fee is due up front and is very reasonable. He sends us copies of all communications he sends out, and then gets back to us with the plea deals and handles them in court without us ever having to even step foot in a court room. Randall is a name we remember by heart when referring him and while we hope to never need him again, should we need a traffic lawyer, Randall is our guy!

Matthew Simone was a life saver for me! He got my DWI and refusal to submit a breathalyzer down to an open container where I only paid a fine, completed an alcohol evaluation, and a short course for Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). My arrest record, finger prints and mug shot were sealed and my license was not suspended for a year for refusing the breathalyzer. I also can travel freely back and forth to Canada where my girlfriend lives because of Matt. I was stopped at a checkpoint, only conducted one field sobriety test, did not conduct a breathalyzer test, and was respectful and cooperative with the police. If you were swerving in and out of lanes, stumble out of your car, blow over a .08, and are rude to the police there is only so much that can be done. However, Matt will still fight for you to get you what you want. Remember to set proper expectations and know that a majority of how your case is going to play out depends on your behavior that night. Matt’s communication was also great! If I had any questions or concerns about the legal process he would answer them swiftly and take the time to ensure I understood what was happening. His legal assistant Joselyn was also spectacular! She would get back to me in a timely manner as well and always sent me what I needed, even if I asked twice and forgot that I already had what I needed. 10/10 would recommend! Hopefully we won’t cross paths again, but if we do it feels good knowing Matt is on your legal team!

When I first received this ticket I was terrified because it would result in 8 points on my drivers license and a huge fine while increasing my insurance immensely. Mr.Lindsey reassured me that he would reduce the points to where it would not affect my insurance rate and taking a drivers defensive course I would be cleared of having points. With the ticket I received I am extremely satisfied with the end result. I had 87/55 reduced to 65/55 and received 3 points which is a minor violation with a much lower fine and my insurance was saved. Mr.Lindsey responded really fast to emails, gave updates and the line of communication was great while not having to go to court myself. If you are in legal trouble, I would definitely recommend Mr.Lindsey to help because he is great at what he does!

My experience with Rakesh couldnt have gone any better. A minor traffic infraction turned into a cop trying to throw the book at me. Rakesh went right to work and handled the whole process, getting all 5 moving violations reduced to parking tickets. His fees are reasonable and totally worth the results.
I’d recommend him to anybody in need of an attorney.

This is the second time I’ve used Rakesh Joshi’s legal services and again I am 100% satisfied.
He is an absolutely brilliant lawyer. But more than anything he is your peace of mind. He is the oasis in the desert, the lighthouse in the storm and the reassurance in your time of need. Legit
I can personally attest that he is the check and balance to what can be an unfair system for so many people. (women, disabled, other minorities, the socially economic disadvantaged, immigrants…)
I am amazed at the relationships he has, the respect he gives and receives from colleagues, clients, court staff and how smoothly things move as a result.
My first case, I was a victim of a predominant local “slum” landlord, and Rakesh Joshi successfully litigated for my family in the City Court of Albany, the second case was a minor traffic violation in the town of Brunswick, which was quickly dismissed.
I call Rakesh Joshi with ANY legal issue.
My only regret is, I did not find him sooner.

Great Law Firm! I was leary at first and ended up reading the reviews and was judging the law firm based off other people's reviews and exprience but got the total opposite services. Maybe it's particular attorneys but A. Jazembak was assigned to me. Mr. Jazembak has great communication and wants to know precisely information to accurately get the results his clients want.
Honestly, if you want a good defense, be ready to have everything documented and ready to present to them EVERYTHING. They aren't mind readers so I think the negatives reviews came from clients thinking that they had to only give the basic information and assumed because it's a law firm they had the ability to make a good case on basic information. If you're putting in effort, they will 100% fight for there clients. The paralegal has excellent communication C. Barrett and the account keeps track of all funds and send an itemized bill accurately H. Myers. Give them a try, ypu wont be disappointed!!

I do not give out 5 ⭐️. In this case Patrick Sorsby Esq. went above and beyond to earn the highest eat resting. Just before four (4) pm Friday as he has preparing for a weekend away from the firm.

Great Law Firm! I was leary at first and ended up reading the reviews and was judging the law firm based off other people's reviews and exprience but got the total opposite services. Maybe it's particular attorneys but A. Jazembak was assigned to me. Mr. Jazembak has great communication and wants to know precisely information to accurately get the results his clients want.
Honestly, if you want a good defense, be ready to have everything documented and ready to present to them EVERYTHING. They aren't mind readers so I think the negatives reviews came from clients thinking that they had to only give the basic information and assumed because it's a law firm they had the ability to make a good case on basic information. If you're putting in effort, they will 100% fight for there clients. The paralegal has excellent communication C. Barrett and the account keeps track of all funds and send an itemized bill accurately H. Myers. Give them a try, ypu wont be disappointed!!

John is a no-nonsense and detail oriented attorney. I needed his services for handling a ticket. Upon first contact, he responded quickly, got all the information and details pertaining to the ticket. He then proceeded to explain, in an easy to understand way, the steps in the process. I completed the paperwork and left the execution to John. True to his word, he offered periodic updates and delivered an outstanding outcome for me. All I can say is how thankful I am to Mr.Lindsey for all his hard work and helping me with a speeding ticket. When I first received this ticket I was terrified because it would result in 8 points on my drivers license and a huge fine while increasing my insurance immensely. Mr.Lindsey reassured me that he would reduce the points to where it would not affect my insurance rate and taking a drivers defensive course I would be cleared of having points. With the ticket I received I am extremely satisfied with the end result. I had 87/55 reduced to 65/55 and received 3 points which is a minor violation with a much lower fine and my insurance was saved. Mr.Lindsey responded really fast to emails, gave updates and the line of communication was great while not having to go to court myself. If you are in legal trouble, I would definitely recommend Mr.Lindsey to help because he is great at what he does!
