I had lawyers that were in practice for 30 years but they still did not approach the prosecution like she did and she has been in practice maybe 5
This translates every time to a better outcome for the defendant.
The corrupt state of Virginia commonwealth bull was trying to put me away for a dui for a freaking drug that was prescribed to me and I had the right to take. I just had a arbitration for a accident and they brought up this refusal but it was my refusal which helped jessica beat this dui. They were actually telling me to be prepared to do some time. Dude is Virginia so corrupt. Sorry I’m from Maryland and the corruption though bad not comparable to Fairfax county corruption
Anyways she saved the day
Even the doctor at the hospital was trying to help the cop more then treatment for the accident. They settle for 42 million out of court because of that

He was very professional and he proved throughout the court time that everything was fabricated by the other party. Mr. English won the cases. I was recently involved in a no fault car accident. I called several attorneys. With most I could not even get past the initial person answering the phone. Wayne took the time to speak with me and gave me some good information and advice. He was honest enough to help me understand the situation from a legal perspective was empathetic with my frustration with the insurance industry. Marvin is a great lawyer. He is very knowledgeable about the law and will work your case. I ended up firing my previous attorney and Marvin represented me in a Grand Larceny case. It was a minor offense but because I was already serving a sentence, and this would have been my second conviction, he got me off with a slap on the wrist. I ended up doing less time and sentenced to less than the first judge sentenced me to.
Marvin has a very dry humor and often that is how he tells you what is going on. This might turn off some people. At first, it turned me off but I realized that this was just his personality and how comes off. In a way, he did not sugarcoat anything. I had that problem with my first attorney. I ended up with a 2 year sentence because he mishandled my case. I was guilty but in our society you get what you pay for in terms of legal representation. I paid heavily and did not get what I paid for(First Attorney). Marvin was the exact opposite. He was pricey at almost $9000 (Thank god to family and friends) but I was very pleased with the service. His office staff are very warm and nice too(Catherine). I am grateful to her for always getting my messages to Marvin, and my family when I could not reach them.
They bent over backwards to try to help me deal with my sentence. At times I would call them to contact my family or to make sure I was getting treated fairly in jail/prison. They always went above and beyond.They even wrote a letter to the Warden to get back on a medication I was taking. They had decided to take me off of it even though it was working but a bit pricey(They will get you on cheap stuff in there to cut costs). Thanks to a letter from Marvin, I was placed back on the medication. I do not know what would have happened if I was not placed back on this medication. It was one of the only ones that worked.
If you are looking for a good attorney in Fairfax County or Northern Virginia you should consider Marvin Miller. At least you will know you got your moneys worth. He is very professional and in the courtroom conducted himself like an attorney. He stood up to the prosecutor like he was suppose to, and asked the Judge for leniency. My previous attorney was scared and shaking. You need an attorney with balls, that is aggressive, and can get you the least amount of punishment if you are already going to be punished.
The legal system in Virginia is ridiculous, and in Fairfax County even more horrifying. So you need someone who can keep you out of trouble. Marvin Miller is the man!!!! I hope I do not need his services again because I am leading a straight and narrow life, but you bet I would call him again if it came to it.

We needed an attorney to help us with our copy write issues enabling us to pass the last hurdle in getting our work published. Manuel first helped us understand the surrounding legal issues involved. Once he did that he was able to ask us the right questions to guide his research. One of the things which impressed us the most was the quality of Manuel's research. This made us comfortable that all our issues were covered in depth and nothing would sneak up on us a year after we published. Manuel is also very good in interpreting the law in practical terms. Manuel helped us understand the consequences of every decision we could have made. This was very useful in helping us make what we believed were the best informed decisions and we feel comfortable now in moving forward and publishing our work. I would not be as confident as I am now in moving our publishing date up almost two months because of Manuel's work.

Rakin Did a great job for us! I deal with insurance all of the time and thought it would be easy to deal with this event. It was a accident where a family member was hit by a car. They were fine after some time in the hospital and the driver was insured so it did not seem difficult! 4 weeks after the event I got Rakin contact information and he took over.
We just wanted the medical bills covered, if I had not contacted him I would have had to pay most of the bills due to the driver lo coverage limits.
I think he saved us 100k!

I hired David to draft a prenuptial agreement and am very happy with the result. He did a great job making sure that it reflected exactly what I (and my future spouse) wanted our agreement to state, and he did it in a very timely matter. He was always quick to return phone calls or emails, and was patient in explaining concepts that wouldn't be obvious to a non-attorney or to someone who doesn't specialize in the areas of law that he works in. In high stakes cases, there is no better than Bose. I was charged with Reckless by a super tough State Trooper who was a ticked off donkey. He didn't like that I had a bad record. I had another Reckless conviction in the past, numerous speeding charges and a - 5 record even after taking a driver improvement course. On court date, the battle was on. Trooper was fired up and they at first refused to take this charge down to something which wouldn't end my job as a commercial driver. I saw it. Bose spent hours in that room breaking down that trooper and the prosecutor. Finally, I ended up with a 3 point charge and a fine. Job saved. Bose came recommended by my family and they told me no one was better. I believe them now. He charges a little more than other lawyers but he is absolutely the best. His experience as a former cop and his decades of experience at this shows. High stakes cases - Bose. No question.

I was referred to Tawnya by The Alexandria Bar Association (ACBA) Lawyer Referral Service, for my uncontested divorce.
I arrived at the office for my consultation appointment. The receptionist (a gentleman, didn't catch his name) didn't tell Tawnya that I arrived. 10 minutes later, she came out, and was surprised to see me. Unfortunate, but fine. Now we can begin.
We get to her office, and the conversation went thus:
What's your situation? I'm getting a divorce
How long were you married? 6 years
I sent you paperwork, you didn't complete it. Yes I did, I emailed it back to you.
Do you have a signed settlement agreement? No, she won't sign.
Did you send that to me? Yes, in the same email.
Oh! There it is.
I was beyond frustrated. I booked a 30 minute appointment, and the majority of it was eaten answering questions that I had already provided answers and documentation for when she requested it 4 days prior. I was very thorough, to avoid this exact scenario. I wanted this meeting to be productive. It wasn't.
She talked me through the process, answered a few specific questions I had brought with me, but ultimately, nothing I couldn't have found online. Very disappointing experience.

Frank really is an excellent attorney. He kept me calm through the whole legal process, provided all the info I needed and was very knowledgeable and helpful the whole time. I had a serious problem with the federal authorities. One of the biggest federal cases to come through Northern Virginia. Here is my experience with Irina Vinogradsky:
I found Irina online to hire her for my H1B RFE response. She and I scheduled a time to make the payment & sign the engagement letter at her office.
However, when I visited her office, there was no engagement letter prepared by her. I was running out of time to respond to this RFE and I did trust her to represent my case professionally and paid her the full amount.
For RFE, it is necessary to provide expert and education evaluation reports. However, i was the one reaching out to her trying to find a company to evaluate my degree and occupation. However, between October 10 to November 2, only question she did ask me regarding my case was about the organizational chart of my company.
My employer got impatient and considered withdrawing the application. Of course, i did ask for a refund. She said she put many hours on my case, and she could refund less than half of what I paid. I agreed, but I wanted to see the draft she worked on.
Unfortunately she told me that she was not sure how this draft document would be in use, so she rejected to mail the document. After many attempts, she did mail me the draft documentation.
On the document, my salary was shown less than what my company offered me. Also she put on the document that my company needed an H1B worker to support company's operations in China and Vietnam. I mean my company's marketing tagline is 'Proudly manufactured in USA'. My company does NOT operate in China or Vietnam. Plus my salary is way above than what she put on the paperwork!
Long story short, I am extremely disappointed. I do not recommend her.
