Joseph King was court appointed to represent my son on a drug related charge. Throughout the entire case, Mr. King kept both me and my son apprised of each step of the process. He was able to secure my son's trust in authority and gain insight into what brought my son to this stage in his life. There were several occasions when Mr. King took time out of his busy schedule to sit down with my son and really listen and get to know him personally. I felt as though he served more as a mentor than as a lawyer. My son spoke very highly of Mr. King every time they met to discuss the case. My son listened to his suggestions and put them into action. I truly believe that children, no matter the age, crave positive attention and react accordingly. I believe that Mr King had a major impact on my son's attitude toward his future. In the time spent throughout this case, I noticed a difference in my son's feeling of self worth. I attribute that to Mr King's attention given to him. My son has met other people who are represented by Mr King and each and every one of them has high praise for his counsel. Had an unfortunate need to have an attorney. I initially went to an attorney that helped me out in the past. He refused to take this case and instead tried to turf me to a colleague of his who I researched and found that they had done something illegal and had been admonished in the past. PLUS, they wanted 5K to represent me. I received Mrs. Graham-Williams' advertisement in the mail. I researched her and other attorneys and used my gut feeling and decided to go with her. Am I glad I did!
I called her and gave her the particulars of my case. She matter-of-factly told me that she thought she could get the issue resolved for me. She also quoted me a price that was substantially less than what was quoted by the other firm.
Following her specific instructions, I was able to have my case handled expertly. I was facing a felony charge and potential jail time. Instead, the charge was downgraded to disorderly conduct. No jail time. I could not have asked for a better outcome!
If you hire her, I suspect you will NOT be disappointed. She makes you feel comfortable, and she has a confident air about her. She's not cocky, nor full of herself. You will not regret having Mrs. Graham-Williams as your attorney. Thank you Mrs. Graham-Williams! You are a rockstar!!

I used Sean to help me upgrade my OTH discharge. On our first visit, Sean was extremely professional and caring. He listened to my story with full attention. We went over my medical, mental and personnel records and made a timeline from when I first joined to when I left the service. Eventually, we put together a well designed case to submit to the Naval Discharge Review Board. I was not expecting it, but Sean was able to upgrade my discharge to full Honorable from an OTH. Even after opening up his own firm, Sean stay true and kept me up to date on my case. I cant thank Sean enough, it has been a long journey but I finally got the discharge that I truly deserve. I'd recommend him to anyone who needs help, it was a blessing to have found and worked with Sean.

Words really can't describe the level of professionalism and expertise Attorney Wade possesses. I had a nightmare divorce/custody case that carried over from North Carolina for a total of four years. At the time I came in contact with Attorney Wade I was on my fourth lawyer and I spent almost 20k in legal fees. In time, I had become a "professional court testifier" and became very familiar with the legal process. I knew a good attorney when I saw one. I did my research and Attorney Wade had pedigree (which I heavily believe in) and I read several Washington Post articles that she was profiled in. I was impressed. When I had my first consult with Attorney Wade, I knew I struck gold. She was able to listen to my concerns, see the big picture, and she dissected 3 years of my litigation timeline in 45 mins. A tentative gameplan was formulated and the strengths and weaknesses of my case were discussed. We worked together as a team and when it was time to make strategic decisions, she always had a plan in mind and I often agreed with her and we proceeded accordingly. She never blew me off. I came to them when my previous attorney withdrawal from my case three weeks before a very challenging and difficult trial.
Right away they responded in an extremely timely manner.

This translates every time to a better outcome for the defendant.
The corrupt state of Virginia commonwealth bull was trying to put me away for a dui for a freaking drug that was prescribed to me and I had the right to take. I just had a arbitration for a accident and they brought up this refusal but it was my refusal which helped jessica beat this dui. They were actually telling me to be prepared to do some time. Dude is Virginia so corrupt. Sorry I’m from Maryland and the corruption though bad not comparable to Fairfax county corruption

I was recently involved in a no fault car accident. I called several attorneys. With most I could not even get past the initial person answering the phone. Wayne took the time to speak with me and gave me some good information and advice. He was honest enough to help me understand the situation from a legal perspective was empathetic with my frustration with the insurance industry. Marvin is a great lawyer. He is very knowledgeable about the law and will work your case. I ended up firing my previous attorney and Marvin represented me in a Grand Larceny case. It was a minor offense but because I was already serving a sentence, and this would have been my second conviction, he got me off with a slap on the wrist. I ended up doing less time and sentenced to less than the first judge sentenced me to.
Marvin has a very dry humor and often that is how he tells you what is going on. This might turn off some people. At first, it turned me off but I realized that this was just his personality and how comes off. In a way, he did not sugarcoat anything. I had that problem with my first attorney. I ended up with a 2 year sentence because he mishandled my case. I was guilty but in our society you get what you pay for in terms of legal representation. I paid heavily and did not get what I paid for(First Attorney). Marvin was the exact opposite. He was pricey at almost $9000 (Thank god to family and friends) but I was very pleased with the service. His office staff are very warm and nice too(Catherine). I am grateful to her for always getting my messages to Marvin, and my family when I could not reach them.
They bent over backwards to try to help me deal with my sentence. At times I would call them to contact my family or to make sure I was getting treated fairly in jail/prison. They always went above and beyond.They even wrote a letter to the Warden to get back on a medication I was taking. They had decided to take me off of it even though it was working but a bit pricey(They will get you on cheap stuff in there to cut costs). Thanks to a letter from Marvin, I was placed back on the medication. I do not know what would have happened if I was not placed back on this medication. It was one of the only ones that worked.
If you are looking for a good attorney in Fairfax County or Northern Virginia you should consider Marvin Miller. At least you will know you got your moneys worth. He is very professional and in the courtroom conducted himself like an attorney. He stood up to the prosecutor like he was suppose to, and asked the Judge for leniency. My previous attorney was scared and shaking. You need an attorney with balls, that is aggressive, and can get you the least amount of punishment if you are already going to be punished.
The legal system in Virginia is ridiculous, and in Fairfax County even more horrifying. So you need someone who can keep you out of trouble. Marvin Miller is the man!!!! I hope I do not need his services again because I am leading a straight and narrow life, but you bet I would call him again if it came to it.

We needed an attorney to help us with our copy write issues enabling us to pass the last hurdle in getting our work published. Manuel first helped us understand the surrounding legal issues involved. Once he did that he was able to ask us the right questions to guide his research. One of the things which impressed us the most was the quality of Manuel's research. This made us comfortable that all our issues were covered in depth and nothing would sneak up on us a year after we published. Manuel is also very good in interpreting the law in practical terms. Manuel helped us understand the consequences of every decision we could have made. This was very useful in helping us make what we believed were the best informed decisions and we feel comfortable now in moving forward and publishing our work. I hired David to draft a prenuptial agreement and am very happy with the result. He did a great job making sure that it reflected exactly what I (and my future spouse) wanted our agreement to state, and he did it in a very timely matter. He was always quick to return phone calls or emails, and was patient in explaining concepts that wouldn't be obvious to a non-attorney or to someone who doesn't specialize in the areas of law that he works in. When our teenage son received a reckless driving speeding ticket, we realized we needed expert legal advice. I hired these guys several years ago for a distruction of property charge. The result? I was convicted, sentenced to two months in jail, and lost my security clearance permanently. This was my first offense ever and these guys could not keep me out of jail. They also told me I could get my security clearance back which is not true. I have never been able to get it back after all these years due to this. I was also forced to file a waiver for my right to appeal and expungement (which seemed moot since convictions are never expunged anyway in VA). Do not waste your money on these guys. You are better off getting a public defender. Note that all of the reviews on their website are fake (easy to do when you own the site) and they have many shill reviews on Google and other sites where they pay people to write positive reviews.

I had a serious problem with the federal authorities. One of the biggest federal cases to come through Northern Virginia.
