Back in December right before what was supposed to be my babies 1st Christmas with myself, my husband and his brother and sister the unthinkable happened my at the time 4 month old son started acting lethargic and seemed to not want to wake up, me having went to medical school and having a diabetic daughter and a son who was premature before my youngest baby I had a feeling that he was in some sort of distress so we rushed him to the hospital approximately 10 minutes before arrival I noticed my son having trouble breathing so I started to administer CPR upon arrival to the hospital once we got inside I ran him to the 1st medical person I saw, we were rushed into a room in the midst of all of the chaos my son was taken to another room while waiting a nurse comes to tell me my son had transport to the main hospital downtown Houston due to the complexities of his issues but what we thought was happening couldn't get any worse it did we were told my son had a skull fracture, perforation of the bowel and a perforation of his esophagus which was done by a Dr at the hospital. Still not knowing what was going on I got in the ambulance with my son and upon arrival to the downtown hospital I was greeted by 2 police officers while my husband was greeted by a police officer at our home so he could meet my mom with our other 2 children we were both questioned and we were always open and honest with Dr's, police officers who we spoke to and regardless we were look at as suspects. In 10 and 6 years of having 2 other children I have never had ever been accused of abuse or neglect of my children after my kids were illegally removed from my custody I called Bradley's office and during my consultation with him he already started working on my case, our sons were born on the same day so he could understand the pain I was feeling after my son had an 8 hour surgery and I only got a week of time spent with him at the hospital before I was blocked by the hospitals CAPS team we were in complete misery and during the short amount of time that we thought was going to never end Bradley fought for our family even driving from Fort Worth to Dayton to be there when we needed him and he was always in communication with me and my husband he obtained my son's medical records and got to work and by March 31st I had all my kiddos back in my home. I would highly recommend Mr. Scalise he always believed in our family and he took on one of the biggest hospitals in the Houston area and called it like it was, ultimately CPS never could provide anything to the contrary of abuse or neglect our case was very complex. I had a sick little baby who needed his family and the hospital took that time away from us but he's back along with his brother and sister just in time for his 1st birthday. My son is happy, healthy and thriving to the fullest and if it wasn't for Mr. Scalise and his help I don't know if we could of found a better attorney to handle our case not just the legal side but the emotional support and compassion that I received from his office. We are so grateful for Bradley and we thank God for me finding you and making our lives back to what they were. Also you still check on us even though we won our case and that is how it should be some attorney's just collect money and don't care after but Bradley is still in contact and we will always be grateful for his hard work. I said I'd shout from the rooftops how awesome Brad and Velma, and his firm are, but this review will have to do.
1. You've found yourself in a situation, and you're looking at attorneys, right? If you've found this page, look no further.
No, seriously, look no further.
You've found the bulldog. You've found Saul. You found Him, or whatever you want to say. Brad is not only an incredible attorney, his cost is negligible compared to the protection, diligence, and dedication you'll get.
2. Did I mention his fees? They might be beaten (unlikely), but I can tell you that not only are they reasonable, they're downright competitive. Get aside that, and Brad is your right hand man. I can't say it enough, his service is Top Notch.
3. If you're unfortunate as I, with someone breathing down your neck (in my case, Denton Co.), don't let anybody, including yourself, tell you that you don't need counsel. I was getting harassed and intimidated, daily, with the real threat of losing my daughter.
And then I did the First smart thing I could've-Retained Brad as my attorney.
He was able to get them to cease communication with me, and channeled it through him. They're tone Really changes. And if you're smart, you'll see for yourself.
4. His paralegal, Velma, and him will not judge you, make you feel judged, or allow others to judge you. You'll have to be completely transparent, but in doing so, Brad creates a personalized approach/plan for your situation. I never felt too ashamed to be honest with him, or Velma. And being honest is how he was able to get my "Situation" or case, closed, which is what You want, right?
5. If you nodded yes to any of my questions, you Need Brad, and his firm, yesterday. If you want the best outcome (not settling), you Need Brad. If you want a whip smart attorney, who is concerned about You, why are you still reading this, and not calling his office?

I am 17 and received a citation for 60 IN A 30 IN SOUTHLAKE! Mr. Graham was able to keep it off my record with only $300 paid to the court (the ticket cost was $250 anyways and it would have gone on my record). Did I mention he did so in less than 24 hours! Doubling the speed limit in Southlake is practically a capital offense in their eyes! Thank you so much, Mr. Graham for your prompt and EXCELLENT service. I had a car accident about 3 years ago, it was the other Drivers fault. I tried handling it myself with the help of my family as we have some knowledge of the process of filing suite against the Insurance company. I filed the Civil Lawsuit a few days before the 2 year statute of limitations. We thought we would hear back from their attorneys but Allstate tried to have the suit thrown out 4 months later for not moving forward with the process.
Long story short, I retained Kimberly Fitzpatrick to represent me on the matter when it seemed that the case was about to be thrown out for the above reason. She was able to pull the lawsuit out of the gutter and not only get me the $7500 I paid in Medical Expenses, but also got my lost wages while working as a Server (I was in College at the time of the Accident) when the Restaurant was not willing to give the proper documentation to press the issue of the wages in Trial.
Kimberly got both amounts of money out of the Insurance Company plus $2000 over through a Settlement when it seemed like the Judge could've thrown the case out for it being too old. What she accomplished with what she had to work with was nothing short of Magic. I highly recommend her for Civil Suit because I could tell from her tenacity and work ethic, She would have been the Defense Attorney's worst nightmare in trial.
My only complaint is that she waited until we were in the mediation to settle to start picking holes in the case. I will say, they were issues that I could see hampering the case at trial. Mostly, the lack of documentation for my lost wages would have taken $4000 off of the final amount. Most likely, pain and suffering would not have covered that amount. Ultimately, a Settlement was the best course of action that led to the largest amount of money I would have received.
You WILL NOT regret hiring Kimberly Fitzgerald.

First of all I wanted to say that with the help of Kimberly Fitzpatrick, my case got dismissed.
Disclaimer: do not take my word for legal advice.
In short- I was arrested for scavenging an abandoned (bait) car. This was early November.
This was my first offense.
At the time of arrest I was working self-employed less than 15 hours a week for my father, mother, and mother’s friend. I was also a househusband. I feared that the lack of employment, community participation, and education (I am a non-graduated junior student at the college level), and my age (23) would negatively impact the outcomes of this charge.
The first court date was December 3rd. That day I did not successfully get a lawyer so the court date was postponed to the 13th in order to give me time to get a lawyer. I had emailed Anna O’Day because she was one of the several lawyers who sent me mail. She sent me a detailed report on how she would handle the case. (Deferred Adjunction & said that I was not qualified for Deferred Prosecution Program (DPP)). After reading her email I was impressed and told her she was hired. For three days I did not hear back from her. She was consistently stuck in court each time I called her secretary. It was December 12th. I got desperate and discussed with my girlfriend to see if she was willing to look for the best lawyer, so I checked avoo.com and saw an AD for Fitzpatrick. I did not screen out lawyers based on practice. If I recall correctly, Fitzpatrick’s cases only consisted 10% in criminal defense. She is more experienced & specializes in a different type of law. Anyway, I called her that day and immediately had an appointment at 2. I had withdrawn 625 and kept it in my wallet for O’Day- her price for “three court appearances”. I was unsure what exactly three court appearances meant. But after three days of unavailability, I got scared and went to Fitzpatrick instead. She offered to stay with me through the case for 1,500. That seemed more of a solid contract than “three appearances”. What if I needed 4?
So, right then that day, the very day before my second court date I hired her and within 15 minutes she got my first court attendance dismissed.
She works extremely fast, is very knowledgeable and pushes the limit. O’Day said that I was not qualified for DPP since I was above 21. But Fitzpatrick said she would shoot for that and she attempted to request an exception since I was barely above the age limit. Fitzpatrick’s devotion towards getting the best results for me was very obvious- but she remained honest and practical with me. My only issue I had is that she sometimes would skip out answers to a list of questions I asked. But she is very busy and works fast, so I can’t really blame her. I just ask again and she will answer it on the second time. She is very tech-savvy. She answers via text or email.
She suggests that I get a job, get in school, get character letters, and do community service before my case was even heard. I had success getting in school and I got plenty of character letters from various influential people. I did not have success in finding a job, and I was not motivated enough to do 40 hours of community service hours.
The court hearing- Fitzpatrick talked with the DA and I could see that she had excellent people skills- It seems to me that her actions and attitude helped a lot to making the DA decide that I was eligible for dismissal! I had to take Theft Intervention counseling and perform 24 hours of community service where I completed at Mission Arlington (THEY ROCK.)
So today I got the dismissal documentation in email. Fitzpatrick had far exceeded my expectation of a “best case scenario”. I will go straight to her again if I need an attorney again in the future.

I was in a marriage for 5 years. I made some poor choices which resulted in my wife filing for divorce. At first, the motion of separation caught me off guard because I thought my wife and I were healing. However, one day my wife said the big D word. I felt hopeless, lonely, and lost. I tried rekindling. After a while I realized my wife didn’t care for rekindling and I was served my papers. Tina was recommended to me through family friends but I didn’t actually know her myself. I’ve never been though a divorce and wasn’t sure what to expect. So, to be honest, I was a little skeptical of attorneys all together. Much to my surprise, Tina made me feel very comfortable. Like a family friend. She offered me advice that was beneficial and she wasn’t afraid to let me know when I was crossing the line. Tina was superbly empathetic to my problems and she actually cared about what I had to say. She doesn’t have an assistant so you get to work directly with Tina the whole time. That was definitely a plus for me. I am proud of my decision of choosing Tina as my divorce attorney. I owe her much gratitude.

My biggest gripe about attorneys is that they at best lack customer service skills and at worst are just lazy. I've actually had issues getting some of them to accept retainer in a timely manner. I didn't have such an issue with Ron. He was very prompt in returning my first call (within 30 minutes) and after he was hired I never waited more than a few minutes if he didn't answer on my call.
That being said, I was even more impressed with his knowledge of law as it pertained to my case, his obvious courthouse network, and his thoroughness in shepherding me around all of the potential pitfalls. It takes more than a big stick to be a successful attorney. One that can provide good customer service, treating everyone as a customer from the client to the folks in the system, and utilize his/her relationships is going to do very well. Arrogance destroys these traits but Ron hasn't let that affect his core values.
I wish I could give more stars. I HIGHLY recommend this attorney and his firm.

I have known David personally for about 6 years. He is a man of integrity, perseverance and honesty. I have had to hire him on two different personal injury cases that involved 18-wheeler's. I remember Mr. Gerald Smith.
In 2012 I hired Mr. Smith to help me finalize my second divorce in the court of Dallas. However, I did not get what I wanted for the child support for the two children; My ex-husband stated he did not have work. I believe he was lying.
During that time, Mr. Smith helped me from start to finish, although I needed to be more faithful to him with the payment. I did not mean to make him angry. I was a single mother, worked part-time, and was paid $10.00. an hour. During that time, I got sick and could not work. Whatever money I had before, I have to use it to feed my children. After two consultations the attorney stated that he does not take 4th amendment violations cases even though I made a point to specify that according to the United States Supreme Court stare decisis case rulings everything that occurred to me during and after arrest and subsequent detainment would be presumed as a violation of due process.
He is someone that untruthful and will not hesitate to lie to you regarding his time and when he will contact you.

I hired Mr.Smith for a run in with the law I had and let me tell you something, this guy is legit. Out of all the lawyers in the court room he came in and not only looked the most professional but carried himself 1st class. He knew all the appropriate people that could have been against my case which was a plus because he was able to get one of my charges completely dismissed which left the court room in awe and the second charge brought down to the lowest charge possible. In all, my second charge will be differed after my probation period giving me a second chance at being a promising citizen without a tainted past. I would totally recommend him. He's a stand up guy who has been patient with all my payments due to hardship in my life and has not harassed me in any way. Please Please Please do whatever it takes to not use a court appointed lawyer, I saw many people in there get ridiculous charges all because they chose to gamble their lives on the easy way out. He actually requested all the evidence and scrutinized everything about the case. Aaron is a very down to earth attorney. When i took my case to him, he was straight up with me and did not try to bullshit me. He was honest with me every step of the way and kept me informed of what was happening with my case.

Never had the chance to hire Chance Smith and after talking to him once, he's permanently removed from my contact list. I'm one of those lead-foot guys and have been since I turned 16, unfortunately. I've used attorneys ad nauseam over the years. It's an annual occurrence. I began using James Mallory for Tarrant County tickets, moved over to Jim Lollar, who represented me for many years, and now use Justin Holt, who took over Lollar's book of business upon Lollar's retirement.
Couldn't be happier with Holt and formerly Lollar. The reason I reached out to Chance is because I have a Dallas County ticket and my attorneys don't handle Dallas County business. Chance apparently does, or at least to some degree.
I've planned to hire Chance for a couple of months but never have the ticket with me when I plan to call. Finally, when it dawned on me the other day that this ticket is still outstanding, I reached out to Chance even though I still did not have the ticket at hand.
He essentially said he wouldn't help me unless I produced the ticket, incredulously claiming "there's too many courts in Dallas and I'm not going to research for free." Hmm, interesting approach employed dealing with a potential client. Had he been more diplomatic about his refusal, I'd likely still have hired him, but since the rationale was unprofessional and not something you say to a client or customer, whether true or not, his judgement is called into question.
What makes this even more of a head scratcher is that I didn't call him to have him perform free research. I would have hired him on the spot, paid him via CC, and then allowed him to do his due diligence. Afterall, it is his profession, though he'd rather assign the difficult work to his clients. I don't expect anyone to do anything for free for me. I just wanted to hire the guy, but not only did he reveal his lack of judgement, but his logical reasoning was tremendously flawed too. Not a good combination for someone in his profession.
If the job is easy, he'll do it. If the job isn't easy, he'll refuse it.
What he failed to realize is that I'm a professional researcher. I own my own consulting firm. I often have to perform research for free in order to get an engagement executed and started. In fact, I'd spent about 3 hours the very morning I called Chance in doing due diligence (free research) for a proposal I was putting together. Just part of it...
He tried to make amends when concluding the call, saying "but if you find the ticket, give us a call and we'll be glad to help."
Uh, yea, right. Ok. I'll jump right on that.

Chase personal delt with me. Im a CDL Class A license holder who received a 72 in a 50mph speeding ticket in my personal vehicle. Chase explained all the known possible out comes for my violation. Charged me a nominal fee and assured me he would take care of it , without me ever having to go to court. And the only other possible charge would be an court cost of around $300. Well Chase found a technical error and had the whole thing dimissed, like it never happened with no court fees. I'm very grateful that he actually cares about his clients because he could have just went ahead how we discussed and left me with a $300.court cost, he was not gonna make anymore money either way it went. But thanks to his willingness to be through , I am able to maintain my great driving record!
Chase and his staff are VERY Professional but at the same time Very personable. And at a Very Affordable price. Who could ask for more. I definitely recommend J. Chase Smith, he understands the importance of a good driving record for A CDL holder.

I hired Gary Smart about 10 years ago through a recommendation from a church member. I was in a very tight legal situation out of Denton County after admitting to being partiality guilt to a crime and believing the detective would hold up to his promise to me of dropping the felony to a misdemeanor. The detective didn't hold up to it, however Attorney Smart was able to get them to change their mind and get me an extremely fair plea deal. The judge even told me "Son, you better be thankful that you hired such a great attorney, stop making dumbass decisions and get your life together".
