I called the law firm as I was notified by a company they placed my account into collections with this firm. The first young lady who answered the phone was quite nice. I was forwarded to J. Swann's assistant, who was rude. I requested to speak to the attorney on the file (as she was truly not answering the questions I was asking so why would I answer hers lol), and was told "He's just going to refer you back to me." I maintained that I would like to speak to the attorney. At that time, she yelled (to what I assume is the attorney's office) "She won't give me her address, SHE will only give it to YOU. What do you want me to do? No, she won't, she'll only give it to you." The phone was then placed on hold and the attorney picked up. He wasn't the most pleasant, but he was not blatantly rude as his little assistant was. And, no, he didn't refer me back to her because she truly was unable to answer my questions. I didn't want a fight and am willing to resolve my balance as soon as possible--imagine my surprise to be met with such a rude little assistant when I was trying to pay the balance off without even knowing there was a lawsuit.

To be clear, the young lady who answers the phone is very polite, courteous, and professional, but the assistant Lane Ryan is a disgrace to the legal field. She is extremely rude and extremely Unprofessional! If not for the fact that I do not want to take off and go to court I would not deal with this law office. She not only got loud with me, but she accused me of being loud with her
She then hung up the phone on me. When I called back and asked to speak to an attorney, a Mr. John Swann picked up the phone and had a smug tone as well. I wish that we were able to give this law firm negative stars!!! I wonder if they're not just a bunch of ambulance chasers. They must be the bottom of the barrel!

I had an amazing experience with Alex. My 2022 Ford F150 had many transmission issues from date of purchase. I am extremely disappointed with the unprofessional and negligent service I have received from Stern Law Firm. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Over the course of my case, Stern Law Firm has completely failed to fulfill its most basic duty: showing up for their client. They have missed the last five court hearings without any explanation or prior notice. This repeated absence has left me unrepresented in crucial moments, putting my case at serious risk and causing unnecessary delays. It is shocking that a law firm could be so careless with matters as important as someone’s legal rights.
I have attempted multiple times to get an explanation, but their communication is almost nonexistent. Calls go unanswered, emails are ignored, and when I finally get a response, it’s vague and unhelpful. The lack of accountability from this firm is appalling.
I trusted Stern Law Firm with a serious legal matter, expecting professional and reliable representation. Instead, I’ve been left feeling abandoned, stressed, and taken advantage of. Their neglect has not only harmed my case but also caused significant emotional and financial strain.
I strongly advise anyone considering Stern Law Firm to look elsewhere for legal representation. No client deserves to be treated with such disregard. I am currently exploring options to file a formal complaint with the state bar for their gross negligence.
Avoid Stern Law Firm if you want a law firm that actually shows up for you—both in court and as a professional advocate for your legal rights.

After 12 years and three different lawyers. I came across Mr. Yurachek’s name from a USA TODAY article. He successfully blocked a Georgia county from placing signs in yards concerning off limits for Trick or Treaters due to a person at the residence offender’s status. Mr. Yurachek was able to put together an extremely solid argument for my petition for removal from the Registry. It took a long time (Due to the COVID shutdowns) to get my request through the Judicial system. He and his team were relentless and were able to successfully have me removed from the registry. I became very close with his team, especially Mimi, through the years. I want to say to everyone involved, thank you and have a safe and Happy New Year.
