I hired Liam for a complicated case that another lawyer was selling me out on and made it worse over the time two counts of domestic battery. Liam knew I was not guilty listened to everything I said looked over my case he’s up to date with every law that changes.! After an unfortunate situation while a period in the EEUU I needed to find an attorney who could take care of a messy situation. A DUI resulted in probation and I needed to complete some DUI education, counseling and community service during the probation year. As a result of the DUI arrest, my VISA was revoked and I had to leave the country for good. Luckily I had enough time to complete the DUI education and counseling before leaving and the judge authorized me to do community service time in my country. When the court day arrived, after a year, I was not able to enter the country, as my VISA was revoked, and I failed to appear in front of the judge. A warrant was issued and complicated even more the situation. My original attorney kept telling me that he could do nothing about this situation and that I needed to be in the country to resolve it, what it was obviously not a possibility.
That is when I contacted David Guy Stevens, from minute 0 he made me feel confident in the process. First at all he informed me that he could represent me in front of the judge without me being present in the country. He took the time to understand the case, he explained to me all possible outcomes and, most importantly, he treated me with sensibility and patience. (Exactly what I needed in such a vulnerable situation). When I hired Mr. Camic, I was depressed, hopeless, and scared. I was young, had already had two prior attorneys on my case, and had consulted upwards of 20, not really sure what to do to protect my rights and my future. Mr. Camic stood out in his understanding of relevant case law to my unusual situation that led to felony battery charges, and knowledge of the various parties in the system. From the initial consultation, it was clear that Mr. Camic wanted to work to help me get my life back on track, so I could pursue my life aspirations that I shared with him.
On top of that, Mr. Camic was very realistic and honest about the handling of my case. He took the time to explain the pros and cons of different approaches, and broke things down in a way that I could understand and relate to. He always took the time to respond to my many questions and concerns as things progressed. Many attorneys who I talked to pushed going to trial, so they could in turn charge ridiculous rates. Mr. Camic is not one of those attorneys. His rate was extremely reasonable, and he truly had my best interests in mind.
Mr. Camic has the ability to find the good in people, even when they are in bad situations; and by seeing the good in me, he was able to get me placed into a diversion program. EDIT: He has saved me again, cases expunged and I am left with no record whatsoever! Not only that, but he worked to get it done as quickly as possible, so I would not have to worry about anything negative lingering.

David Camic has been my “go to guy” for everything related to traffic and criminal cases. Camic has handled Felony Drug cases, minor and major traffic cases, misdemeanors and a few other criminal felony case for me. David Camic was fantastic! In illinois, a third dui is a felony. Somehow, he got it reduced to a misdemeanor!! I had to serve 45 days in the pokey but it was worth it to keep a felony off my record.
I have no idea how he did it, but he did it. I sincerely thank you, Mr. Camic. My life is normal again!

I came to the Gil Law Group for a recent closing on my house. In the past I've had terrible experiences with firms and dealing with closings and the whole process in general. I was looking at 6 months for a dui charge and child endangerment Eduardo recommended that we do a cold plea in front of the judge saying he was a fair judge and usually goes for court supervision on 1st dui cases. I trusted him and thats exactly what the judge gave me.. court supervision! I got to keep my license and my freedom.

"Unfortunately" I've had multiple cases with Gary but he represented me without judgement. We got a "not guilty" in one bench trial which really miffed the ADA, and then worked out a deal on the other which was looking pretty bad for a while, no joke. Not everyone has five digits to throw at a Defense and Gary is the best attorney for those of us who fall in that category. He helped give me another chance and I have not looked back, professional career and a bright future which was certainly in limbo for some time. I hope others get a second chance as I did

Dragged my case and nothing was resolved with the children and 401K money was spent by my ex. There were no charges against my ex for spending the money. Not only that - the case got dragged for 3 years and the children's situation got worst and nothing was done about it until my ex called the hotline and gave up on the children. Too much money was taken and no positive results.

Mr Funkey did not do what I asked/ordered him to do in my divorce case. He made decisions, on my behalf, without consulting me. He did, for instance, not ask me if I wanted to ask the court for continuances instead of going to trial although I told him up front from our first meeting that I needed the divorce finalized immediately, not for the procedure to be dragged out, which, as it turned out, it was.This, of course, benefitted him financially, not me. I gave him information that could and should have been used to my advantage which he chose not to use. Hence, I would not recommend him.
