Annette helped me regain custody of my daughter years ago and was wery insightful throughout the case. Her pricing was fair for what she does. She was referred by another lawyer who spoke very highly of her and I can see why. In the past year I had some questions and she responded to my emails promptly without extra fees which was nice, I went with doing a consultation to have a more in depth conversation as well and she helped me to fully understand more about my new concerns. I have been divorced now for over 10 years and since my divorce have gone through three attorneys. My first experience with my first attorney was horrible and no justice was served in my divorce; my ex wife walked away with everything including my children. Since then I have taken my ex-wife back to court and never really truly been able to get justice served. I recently retained Annette Cox Sandoval as my attorney in a custody battle with my ex-wife. My ex-wife was always used to winning and getting her way and justice was never served until recently when Mrs Cox Sandoval took over my case. Mrs Cox Sandoval was very good at gathering the evidence that I gave her an overtime put together an amazing case!!! My ex even tried to get jurisdiction changed after it being 10 years in Arizona to hometown of Nevada. Mrs Cox Sandoval fought for me and convinced our judge to retain jurisdiction in Arizona (which was key to my custody battle)! Recently we were set to go to custody trial and the day before our trial my ex caved in and settled. I finally got justice served and more importantly, my son is now happy and living with me and his family in Arizona!!!
Mrs Cox Sandoval is the best attorney that I've had and I will never have to worry again so long as she is in my corner!!!

Buyer be ware! After visiting with a very close friend of mine regarding their Counsel, I encouraged this person to hire an exceptionally experienced and professional firm with a team that could serve their needs that wasn’t Jordan.
Jordan essentially went MIA around mid-November. Essentially, this friend of mine asked him a myriad of questions inquiring as to how things could be moved along expeditiously in order to close out their matter. No response for weeks on end.
Ironically enough, after he essentially ghosted said client, the client was presented with a bill a couple of days after reaching out to him - again, without any response to their email. After paying above and beyond the initial retainer he seemed to disappear.
As a matter of fact, he was quick quick quick to respond when new representation reached out to him (as in he responded within the same day)!
Lack of communication in this electronic age is unacceptable. I have encouraged this former client to contact the AZ Bar Association in order to recoup their financial losses with Jordan. He’s unprofessional at best. Moreover, he's running a one man show and he doesn’t have the resources to close things out quickly.
Please be certain that any person you hire to deal with a sensitive legal matter not only takes you seriously but be sure whomever you decide to work with has ownership interest in your situation and the staff to make that a reality. I find it appalling that Jordan didn’t have the chutzpah to face this client and admit that he didn’t have the resources to help them in a timely or appropriate fashion.

If you have found yourself in any sort of legal trouble, please take the time to read this-- you will not regret it.
I was charged with a very serious criminal offense in 2014. Despite our feeling that no crime had been committed, the charge still had the potential to destroy the life that I had built with my wife and family and my future.
I initially consulted with and hired a different attorney shortly after my arrest to handle the case (not Mr. Nermyr). Things started off poorly and unfortunately, they did not get better over time. Communication was severely lacking, punctuality was an issue on many occasions, and due to my previous attorney taking a vacation, we missed the only opportunity for a Grand Jury remand-- which we have been advised, may have ended the case based on the facts involved.
From that point forward we got caught up in the system and seemingly endless hearings and delays. Our attorney seemed powerless and in over their head. We tried several different routes to plead our case prior to trial, but could not gain any traction with the State and we felt, for lack of better words, totally unprotected. After over 2 years of zero progress, we were emotionally tapped, financially drained and running out of hope.
It was at that point that a very close personal friend recommended that I speak to Mr. Nermyr about my case-- and I could not be more grateful for that.
From the moment I met Mark Nermyr and his associate, Al Morrison, I felt like I had found the best. He took the time to completely understand my case and from that point forward I felt totally protected. The dynamic and breadth of knowledge between these two gentlemen was unreal. They immediately went to work getting to the core issues of the State's case and the strengths of ours. It did not take long for them to formulate a strategy that would ultimately lead to the first real movement in over 2 years on the State's part.
The first hearing with Mr. Morrison, Mr. Nermyr, and Mr Shell was pretty incredible. They arrived early and were ready and waiting when we arrived. When we walked into the courtroom they commanded respect like we had not experienced with our previous attorney, all while being incredibly professional and prepared. That was the first time since the arrest that I had felt truly represented and hopeful that we could achieve a positive outcome.
The meetings and hearings following were equally as impressive. Mr. Nermyr continued to analyze, research and adjust strategy accordingly to put us in the best possible position. The communication with Mark was always on point and he always gave me his undivided attention and treated me with total respect.
Within just a few short months, and nearing the trial date, Mr. Nermyr and Mr. Morrison drafted and submitted a powerful motion that changed the course and outcome of the case. The motion opened up the opportunity for a dismissal or possible acquittal at trial and/or acted as a strong negotiating tool for a favorable plea offer.
Options are few and far between when facing the justice system-- and Mark Nermyr did what seemed impossible-- his diligence and thorough understanding of the law and how it applied to my case gave me multiple, solid options and all of the information necessary to make the right decision for me and my family.
Words are not enough to express my gratitude to Mr. Nermyr and his team. He, against all odds, gave me my life and dignity back, my kids their Dad back, my wife her husband back and orchestrated a defense that will allow me to move past this in the near future.
I do not anticipate needing his services again in the future, and I certainly hope that none of my friends or family run into any legal issues-- but if they do, I will without hesitation recommend Mr. Nermyr. I highly recommend Mark Nermyr if you find yourself in need of excellent representation for a criminal matter in AZ-- You will not be disappointed.

Mr.Morrison defended my 23 yr.old son in PHX Superior Court with several felony charges facing him. My son was facing many years in prison and had over a hundred thousand dollars in restitution. I attained Manny Jacobo through Chandler Municipal Court for 2 misdemeanor cases. A week prior to my pre-trial conference I reached out to his office and let them know I was calling to see if there was anything Mr. Jacobo needed from me prior to my court date. Mr. Jacobo called me back later that afternoon on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024.
I asked if he would like me to come to his office to go over anything prior to my court date. Mr. Jacobo told me no and he will just talk to me on my court date. I asked if there was a way to go over the discovery the prosecutor sent because there are a lot things I have questions about. He said he will have plenty of time to discuss everything I have questions about prior to my hearing that was at 8:30 AM. I then asked if there was an option for me to obtain the discovery the prosecutor has if I went to the court house since he doesn't want to meet with me prior to my court date. He told me I'm, "Just asking him the same question twice hoping to get a different answer from him." He went on to tell me he has a lot of different clients and he meets with them all on their court date and it would be unfair to his other clients he's representing to meet with me prior to my court date because he gives everyone the same amount of time. I was taken back by that because typically a defense attorney doesn't have a problem with meeting their clients especially to go over their case. I let him know I was just very confused on the entire case because I haven't been explained really anything because the prosecutor told me I needed to speak with my attorney (Mr. Jacobo) with any questions. He then began to belittle me by saying, "I'm perplexed you don't know much about your case. You were there when you had police contact weren't you?" I told him I was there, but the officers didn't do a lot of explaining to me and didn't get a print out of my charges when I went to Chandler Municipal Court for my first appearance. He responded snarky saying, "Nobody writes down charges on paper and gives it to you at courts anymore - That's old school."
Well I wasn't aware of this because I'M NOT A LAWYER. After 5 minutes on the phone with Mr. Jacobo and being the recipient of his passive aggressive and just plain rude behavior I finally asked if this was a good time to speak with him. I thought surely something has to be off for an attorney to be so rude and condescending towards a client. I asked if he was alright and if he was having a long day (I was genuinely asking). That question sent him over the edge and he response by calling me "BRO" and telling me not to focus on his day and to just focus on my day.
So after 7-10 minutes with Mr. Jacoby over the phone where he was rude, facetious, lacked any compassion for me just trying to figure out the process of court, and calling me "BRO" I ended the call.
I went to open court the following day at Chandler Municipal Court and the judge took Mr. Jacobo off my case and allowed a new attorney to represent me. From what I have been told, judges do not typically do this unless there is a very good reason. I suppose I was "lucky" enough to have a good reason.
I'd rather show up to court without a lawyer over letting Mr. Jacobo represent me. I don't know if he was just having a bad day or if this is his normal behavior, but I don't want anything to do with this man.

I was the passenger in a MVA. I was optimistic that responsible party would be concerned about my injuries and help me by getting insurance information to me timely. However that did not occur and I realized I needed a lawyer. I contacted Phoenix Injury Law. They have been wonderful to work with. I was the passenger in a MVA. I was optimistic that responsible party would be concerned about my injuries and help me by getting insurance information to me timely. Divorce is horrible by itself. Annette and her staff made the process so much worse. Forgot or blew off appointments made by me and spouses attorney, only conduct business via email, used legal jargon I didn’t understand and when I asked for clarity both she and her staff were condescending. These items were horrible and then I get a letter from Annette telling me she will withdraw my case unless I ‘replenish’ my retainer. Somehow, my $4500 was blown although she and her staff did very little for me. She wanted another $2500 and since money was tight, I asked if she could reduce the replenishment. She sent me an angry, unprofessional email back comparing her services to a surgeon (neither her bedside manner nor her skills are anything close to a surgeon). I just received my final bill for her as somehow she blew through the last $500 in my retainer although she did very little for me. She nickel and dimed me the entire process and when I asked for clarification on the billing statement, her response was very unprofessional. I would have received better service hiring a paralegal. Save yourself further hardship and find another attorney who actually cares about her clients.

I Contacted Ms. Sandoval's office on 8/23/2023 and spoke to Katelyn. I provided Katelyn my credit card information and was scheduled for a consult with Ms. Sandoval on 9/1/23 at 11:30am. After rearranging my work schedule, on 9/1/23 I sat awaiting the phone call I was to receive at 11:30am. Ms. Sandoval nor anyone from her office ever called me. I then called Ms. Sandoval's office thinking maybe I was supposed to call in?? Katelyn again answered. I explained that I was scheduled for a consult with Ms. Sandoval at 11:30 and she hadn't called. Katelyn then said "We never received your information from the email you were sent so you don't have an appointment".
I explained to Katelyn that I never received an email. Katelyn went on to say "Oh ya people sometimes miss it because it goes to their junk mail. I had already checked my junk mail prior to my call and I there was no email. I told Katelyn again, I did not receive an email from her office. Katelyn would then say normally their office follows up a few days before appt to make sure everything is ready to go but she had been out sick so that didn't happen. Katelyn then told me even if I completed the paperwork that day the appt would not happen.
Since the issue I was calling about in the first place was time sensitive, I asked Katelyn when I would be able to reschedule? She said it would probably be 2 weeks out. This wasn't acceptable to me so I asked if should would please see if something sooner could be scheduled (especially since it was her office that dropped the ball). She said she would look into it and call me back that day.
I never did hear back from Katelyn or anyone else from Ms. Sandoval's office again and here it is 9/13. Very unprofessional for any business, much less a law firm.

The reviews included herein are bogus. He does very little to earn his exhorbitant fees. A little chit chat with the Prosecutor was about all I got for my money. My recommendation is to find an attorney that actually works a case v. lolling around in the court building chatting with his cohorts. I was overcharged (about double) and underserved.

Patrick and his secretary Kim are an excellent team, and I would recommend them in a heart beat to anyone facing criminal charges. Patrick is very straight forward and answered all my questions to the fullest. Kim was exceptionally well at helping me from out-of-state as well. Overall, it appeared that many of the other attorneys looked to Patrick for advice and they often seek him in the hallway for advice since he was a former prosecutor.
