Annette helped me regain custody of my daughter years ago and was wery insightful throughout the case. Her pricing was fair for what she does. I have been divorced now for over 10 years and since my divorce have gone through three attorneys. My first experience with my first attorney was horrible and no justice was served in my divorce; my ex wife walked away with everything including my children. Since then I have taken my ex-wife back to court and never really truly been able to get justice served. I recently retained Annette Cox Sandoval as my attorney in a custody battle with my ex-wife. My ex-wife was always used to winning and getting her way and justice was never served until recently when Mrs Cox Sandoval took over my case. Mrs Cox Sandoval was very good at gathering the evidence that I gave her an overtime put together an amazing case!!! My ex even tried to get jurisdiction changed after it being 10 years in Arizona to hometown of Nevada. Mrs Cox Sandoval fought for me and convinced our judge to retain jurisdiction in Arizona (which was key to my custody battle)! Recently we were set to go to custody trial and the day before our trial my ex caved in and settled. I finally got justice served and more importantly, my son is now happy and living with me and his family in Arizona!!!
Mrs Cox Sandoval is the best attorney that I've had and I will never have to worry again so long as she is in my corner!!!

If you have found yourself in any sort of legal trouble, please take the time to read this-- you will not regret it.
I was charged with a very serious criminal offense in 2014. Despite our feeling that no crime had been committed, the charge still had the potential to destroy the life that I had built with my wife and family and my future.
I initially consulted with and hired a different attorney shortly after my arrest to handle the case (not Mr. Nermyr). Things started off poorly and unfortunately, they did not get better over time. Communication was severely lacking, punctuality was an issue on many occasions, and due to my previous attorney taking a vacation, we missed the only opportunity for a Grand Jury remand-- which we have been advised, may have ended the case based on the facts involved.
From that point forward we got caught up in the system and seemingly endless hearings and delays. Our attorney seemed powerless and in over their head. We tried several different routes to plead our case prior to trial, but could not gain any traction with the State and we felt, for lack of better words, totally unprotected. After over 2 years of zero progress, we were emotionally tapped, financially drained and running out of hope.
It was at that point that a very close personal friend recommended that I speak to Mr. Nermyr about my case-- and I could not be more grateful for that.
From the moment I met Mark Nermyr and his associate, Al Morrison, I felt like I had found the best. He took the time to completely understand my case and from that point forward I felt totally protected. The dynamic and breadth of knowledge between these two gentlemen was unreal. They immediately went to work getting to the core issues of the State's case and the strengths of ours. It did not take long for them to formulate a strategy that would ultimately lead to the first real movement in over 2 years on the State's part.
The first hearing with Mr. Morrison, Mr. Nermyr, and Mr Shell was pretty incredible. They arrived early and were ready and waiting when we arrived. When we walked into the courtroom they commanded respect like we had not experienced with our previous attorney, all while being incredibly professional and prepared. That was the first time since the arrest that I had felt truly represented and hopeful that we could achieve a positive outcome.
The meetings and hearings following were equally as impressive. Mr. Nermyr continued to analyze, research and adjust strategy accordingly to put us in the best possible position. The communication with Mark was always on point and he always gave me his undivided attention and treated me with total respect.
Within just a few short months, and nearing the trial date, Mr. Nermyr and Mr. Morrison drafted and submitted a powerful motion that changed the course and outcome of the case. The motion opened up the opportunity for a dismissal or possible acquittal at trial and/or acted as a strong negotiating tool for a favorable plea offer.
Options are few and far between when facing the justice system-- and Mark Nermyr did what seemed impossible-- his diligence and thorough understanding of the law and how it applied to my case gave me multiple, solid options and all of the information necessary to make the right decision for me and my family.
Words are not enough to express my gratitude to Mr. Nermyr and his team. He, against all odds, gave me my life and dignity back, my kids their Dad back, my wife her husband back and orchestrated a defense that will allow me to move past this in the near future.
I do not anticipate needing his services again in the future, and I certainly hope that none of my friends or family run into any legal issues-- but if they do, I will without hesitation recommend Mr. Nermyr. I highly recommend Mark Nermyr if you find yourself in need of excellent representation for a criminal matter in AZ-- You will not be disappointed.

Both Marc Victor & Emma Wincup went to great lengths to do battle against one of the most corrupt government agencies in the country. My attorneys clearly demonstrated and proved that AZG&F had blatantly violated the statute of limitations by almost two years in their case against us. However, a very corrupt & biased Maricopa County judge, ruled against us with the absurd assertion that a lawful and mandatory statute of limitations was actually "discretionary". This judge should have been impeached!

I want to say that Attorneys for Freedom are an outstanding law firm for restoration of Rights! I'd like to point out my Gratitude and stellar service that I received from Brittany my assigned attorney and Bonny her paralegal. What I thought was going to take 3-4 months or more for restoration of my Rights happened in less than the 3 months they estimated. Talk about under promising and over delivering, here they are. This is one of those firms that does a "bait and switch". I hired them to set up my LLC and they did that, so that's great, but I had additional questions, as it relates to what I paid them to do, to understand it and what my next steps are (like do I have to file something with my local state), with no answers and having to pay an hourly rate to get those questions asked. I will no longer use their services for anything further and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Submit a request on their website for a simple mutually agreed divorce, they called back the next day and said $100 for a consult and after that, it would be $5000-$7000 for the actual divorce. Ridiculous pricing if all you need is something basic.

I Contacted Ms. Sandoval's office on 8/23/2023 and spoke to Katelyn. I provided Katelyn my credit card information and was scheduled for a consult with Ms. Sandoval on 9/1/23 at 11:30am. After rearranging my work schedule, on 9/1/23 I sat awaiting the phone call I was to receive at 11:30am. Ms. Sandoval nor anyone from her office ever called me. I then called Ms. Sandoval's office thinking maybe I was supposed to call in?? Katelyn again answered. I explained that I was scheduled for a consult with Ms. Sandoval at 11:30 and she hadn't called. Katelyn then said "We never received your information from the email you were sent so you don't have an appointment".
I explained to Katelyn that I never received an email. Katelyn went on to say "Oh ya people sometimes miss it because it goes to their junk mail. I had already checked my junk mail prior to my call and I there was no email. I told Katelyn again, I did not receive an email from her office. Katelyn would then say normally their office follows up a few days before appt to make sure everything is ready to go but she had been out sick so that didn't happen. Katelyn then told me even if I completed the paperwork that day the appt would not happen.
Since the issue I was calling about in the first place was time sensitive, I asked Katelyn when I would be able to reschedule? She said it would probably be 2 weeks out. This wasn't acceptable to me so I asked if should would please see if something sooner could be scheduled (especially since it was her office that dropped the ball). She said she would look into it and call me back that day.
I never did hear back from Katelyn or anyone else from Ms. Sandoval's office again and here it is 9/13. Very unprofessional for any business, much less a law firm.

The reviews included herein are bogus. He does very little to earn his exhorbitant fees. A little chit chat with the Prosecutor was about all I got for my money. My recommendation is to find an attorney that actually works a case v. lolling around in the court building chatting with his cohorts. I was overcharged (about double) and underserved.

Patrick and his secretary Kim are an excellent team, and I would recommend them in a heart beat to anyone facing criminal charges. Patrick is very straight forward and answered all my questions to the fullest. Kim was exceptionally well at helping me from out-of-state as well. Overall, it appeared that many of the other attorneys looked to Patrick for advice and they often seek him in the hallway for advice since he was a former prosecutor.

Mr. Brown did not properly or ethically handle my Rule 32.1, Petition for Post-Conviction Relief. Mr. Brown took 9 long dilatory months to file my Petition for Post-Conviction Relief and failed to file a Reply to the Prosecutor’s false statements in the states response. In fact, Mr. Brown failed to file any reply at all. Falling well below the ethical norms of what is expected of an attorney when accepting a case that deals with a person’s most valuable asset their very “Freedom.”
Mr. Brown had everything he needed to file the Petition, because he received it from my Appellate Attorney within days of his tenor on my case. I sent Mr. Brown detailed instructions of what needed to be include in the Petition within a week of Mr. Brown accepting the case. Mr. Brown tried to get me to lose some of these issues that needed to be included in my Petition by arguing with me that they were not necessary “which is false” because if you don’t use them you lose them in other petitions, and continued to delay the process by ignoring my phone calls and requesting for extensions from the Court by falsely stating to the Court that he needed a certain transcript that; 1. he already had and 2. didn't have anything to do with my Petition or with what needed to be filed. Mr. Brown finally agreed to file the Petition with what I requested because it was proper, but only after my wife called him almost every day for over a month.
Mr. Brown also tried to get me to sign a petition without the issues that needed to be kept in play during the process, by sending me an incomplete Petition, because if you don’t include them in your rule 32 they will be lost forever.
After the Prosecutor filed his response, Mr. Brown did not send me a copy of it until it was to late to file the mandatory reply. Mr. Brown did not file any reply to the states response at all, and everything the prosecutor stated in his response “even though it was false” was considered by the judge as if it were true, due to Mr. Browns Failure to reply to the Prosecutors Response.
The Judge stated that her ruling was based in part because Mr. Brown failed to file a reply to the states response.
Mr. Brown issued his final statement falsely claiming that there we no other issues to continue to the Rule 32.9 Petition for Review. Mr. Brown then took another month or so to send me the Rule 32.1, decision, and the rest of the file so I could continue to file the Rule 32.9, again delaying the process, to give me the time needed to file my Rule 32.9 Petition for Review.
These are not all the problems I experienced with Mr. Brown. The fact is Mr. Brown did not work in my interest at all, and I would not recommend him to anyone.
