I hired Barbara a few months ago and had the worst experience that one could have with an attorney. After, I paid her I was expecting a good performance from her part but she worked at a very slow paste and making up excuses on why she was taking so long. Barbara was disorganized because she lost paperwork that I sent her as evidence for my case. I really had a hard time and gave her a long time but I had enough at the end. She even disrespected me when I was asking for an update after months of waiting. I do not recommend this attorney for any civilian or military matters.

Lee is a terrible lawyer, never answered calls or met dead lines. I found out his law license was suspended for illegal narcotics dealing and cultivation. This was hard to read to say the least. He is a careless individual who will do anything to get more money. He used to be a “ambulance chaser” just took accident cases when it was convenient and money was in it for him, now he is exploiting the patio community and taking their hard earned money. I suggest you stay far far away from this attorney and person.

I hired this attorney through Upright Law and sorry I did. When I went in to sign my papers in the beginning, I felt rushed and alone as she was doing something else and left me to sign papers in the office by myself. After bankruptcy was discharged, I was trying to contact her via phone and email for weeks to ask when I would be getting my discharge papers and to ask a question about my case with no reply. Her secretary apologized today and that is when I called Upright Law to complain to them about her and to ask when I can get my discharge papers. Upright law will be sending me my discharge papers via email so I can finally get on with my life!

Heather was supremely professional and came to my aid in the 11th hour when I was blind sided by a barrage of false allegations in the late afternoon prior to a hearing the next morning. She was able to provide a motion to dismiss and kept in contact with me giving me peace of mind during a very stressful time. I can not recommend Heather enough.

Heather Mitchell is an absolute crook. She will take your money, and not communicate with you when you are paying her for her communication and advice! Then when you call her out on her lack of communication, she will then threaten to vacate the case.I paid her over $15K in just 3 months, and she did absolutely nothing for me. I mean nothing. She was not prepared for my temporary orders hearing for the custody battle I was facing for my son. I showed up an hour early, on my request, hoping that we could utilize that hour to get on the same page seeing as to how we were about to be in front of the judge on Web x, and there was very little to no communication at all. When I arrived, she wanted to talk about anything and everything except for the details of my case. She also informed me that her and her helper were dealing with 51 other clients. 51!!!!!! How could just two people be handling and truly caring about 51 cases?! That’s when I knew she was only there for the money, not to help me and my son. She seemed wonderful when we interviewed her, but after that was all downhill. Talk about adding so much more stress into an already extremely stressful time. STAY AWAY from this crook! I promise you that you will not be happy with her ethics or her performance. I repeat, STAY AWAY!!!!

Hired this attorney for a case. She did prepare well for it, and returned my calls/emails, not always promptly, but at a decent speed. Was knowledgeable in court, seemed to try angles, but was unprepared for some of the DAs tactics, nor aware she was going to be going against this DA vs some lower level person. Again, tried hard in court, did lose the case, but that was not the only concern. My family and I paid a lot for this attorney, and after the case, she would no longer respond to any inquiries regarding a driver's license or post court process. I sent multiple emails, texts, and left voicemails, all just asking for a hand, but never heard back. None were in an upset tone, or anything stating annoyance etc, just wanted to see what to do next. I waited a long period before writing this, hoping she was just busy and would get back to me, but this never happened. I understand the case was over, just as a human, seems that one could take a short period of time in her expertise to answer a few questions.

I would not recommend this law firm. Mr. Driskell worked on my sons case. He never returns phone calls and e-mail. His prices are outrages. We’re thinking he cheated us on our settlement. I’ve ask for the file and to this day I have not gotten anything!!!

Do not hire Patrick Fitzgerald. This has by far been the worst experience I have ever had. Mr Fitzgerald will make deals with the DA that you did not approve of and use your case against you to make you feel like less of a human being. He will criticize, curse and hang up on you if you question what he is doing and why he is making deals without your consent. Absolutely horrible!!

Most times when you hire a defense attorney, chances are it is not for a pleasant situation. What made it a lot more enjoyable was the professionalism of this law firm! Every single staff member that I met was extremely professional and friendly. I had the pleasure working with them for approximately one year. Anytime I emailed or called, they responded in a timely manner. They explained the whole process and answered all my questions. They are extremely knowledgeable and amazing at what they do! I can not thank Max, Marianne and Hailey enough for all their hardwork and dedication!!! If you find yourself in a situation where you need a defense attorney, hire the best! I hope for the future Google Reviews can provide an option of (—) Negative starts in the mean time I’m gonna rate this little mediocre house “business” a — 9. I schedule an appointment with a month of anticipation for March 18th on the first place, mind you I create this appointment around February if not sooner around last weeks of January. I call to confirm on March 15th to my surprise a lady answers and says “we hope you called us back, we are gonna have to reschedule due the person in charge of your case is out for an audience” My initial thought was, there’s no one else that can take my case? There’s just one lawyer? Didn’t thought that much of it, they rescheduled me for today April 8th at 4pm. I call today in the early morning to confirm my appointment before I do so I found a v-m in my phone form some lady saying “please call us back as soon as you hear this” so I do, for my surprised the First Lady that answers doesn’t have any idea of how to help me, they transferred me with another person and this one tells me we are gonna have to reschedule the reschedule ONCE AGAIN! Due the lawyer taking your case is out sick.” I am beyond upset at this point, this is the second time they rescheduled me! I told the lady the that was unacceptable, she give me the option to come tomorrow and the I told her that I couldn’t be missing work, I already asked for the evening off so to please let me keep the same time and to find me another lawyer that could take care of my case. This lady proceeds to tell me “yes, let me see what I can do and I would give you a callback.” This happens at 10:23am for the rest of the day I never received a call, email, text, message , fire sign or anything from this person. So, if you are desperate, have limited funds and need assistance ASAP please AVOID THIS little piece of trash !! They would waste your time, resources, money, gas and words. Spend the extra fees in someone that actually follows direction, mean what they say and has genuine word, not this little circus. Do better , y’all playing with peoples lives and time. Shame on you and your ancestors!!!!

I am very happy to leave a Super Review on this firm. Hands down this is best law firm in Denver Metro area. I had a personal injury case pressing the statute of limitations of 2 years from a car wash accident. I called this law firm got a hold of Trent in September 2023 with a February deadline he literally and his staff got going on this case ASAP. His staff and Trent found who the insurance carrier was from Car wash fast and talked To all witnesses. This law firm is honest snd sincere they made sure the client got more than the law firm and Trent and his staff were amazing to work with. They always communicate with the client and update do not hire the famous TV Attorneys call this firm before you call any other Attorney you will be amazed my case settled just recently and i would have never done this without this firm. Done as little as she could with my case, persuaded me to a plea deal! Which wasn't bad! Over charged me because of text messages, she insisted I use! There was no contract on prices of text at all! Cost me over 1000 more than should have!

Lindsey was very professional and easy to get a hold of. My divorce took some time, because it wasn’t amicable. Lindsey let me know how things were going as we progressed, and made sure we approached each avenue for resolution with the appropriate response. At times, I felt overwhelmed, or like things wouldn’t go well, but that’s just divorce/court. If you keep a level head and realize court happens at a titles pace, she will be sure to get you a good outcome for all involved. If your looking for revenge and want things to happen faster than it should, then divorce court will probably not go the way you want it to. The long game is what’s important. The long game is what made things go from me drowning to me feeling like, okay, I can do this.

I had an overall positive experience being represented by Nathaniel. I thought that he did a great job behind the scenes working to get the prosecutor to dismiss my case. I wish he had done a little more to let me know what the status of my case was but whenever I had questions, he got back to me and filled me in on the issues that I was worried about. I couldn't be happier with the result.

I would give this attorney ZERO stars, but that is impossible. I hired Mr. Baca to represent me in my criminal case. He claims his flat fee is warranted because he is to do the same about of work if the case goes to trial or if a plea is accepted. He advised me to plea. I should of seen that coming. He spent about 10 mins in court with me. He must of spent 30 mins total on my case, and most of that was him notifying the court of his entry of appearance. He never contacted me about my case. I was in jail, and he never spoke with me. He did not review the discovery with me and he did not even formulate a defensive for me. He sure kept that flat fee he charged and he did nothing for me. Nothing. He has not taking a case to trail in over 6 years. . A public defender would serve you better. Save your money. He demonstrated limit knowledge of the law and even less knowledge of court room procedures.

I want to think Nathaniel for the work he did for my brother. My brother was fetching a life sentence in Arapaho. The case ended up taking a couple of years. Nathaniel kept fighting the whole time. My experience with Allen Vellone Wolf Helfrich & Factor has been beyond great. They dug into the issues of my case and discovered things in my favor that go far beyond what other defendants in the same case appear to have missed or not seriously considered. My opinions of Jim Helfrich and Kate Sender go beyond my ability to express. The best I can say is that I trust them to do their absolute best, which I believe they have done. No bullshit. They haven’t always told me what I want to hear, but they have always considered my opinion and that has been reflected in the things they have produced on my behalf. My case is not over, but they believe in me and have taken my side with the best they have to offer. Their rates are fair, and I have never had the feeling they were fabricating hours as so many law firms do, especially the law firm that is attacking me. I suspect I will have more to add to this review in the future.

My son was indicted for intent to harm or kill ( assault with a deadly weapon) - Obviously a felony. It was at a side road hot spring. He’s a good kid. It went to a jury trail which scared me to death. Mike was very clear to me on telephone. Unfortunately I had serious foot surgery and couldn’t go but my former spouse did go. Mike explained the situation clearly and precisely to me. He is very adept and states the situation very straightforwardly. I am very appreciative of his efforts on my son’s behalf.

The worst attorney I've dealt with. Made disparaging comments about my race. Seldom returned phone calls and messages. Completely unorganized and unprepared. Threatened to withdraw from my case if I did not accept a plea deal. Lied to a Judge during an evidentiary hearing in order to force his withdrawal. I suggest spending your money elsewhere. Lastly, refused to send me my case file after withdrawing despite the fact that I am legally entitled to it. I would not recommend this attorney.

Michael Root failed to provide me with adequate representation in a Retaliation Against a Judge case. The witness (alleged victim Judge) had provably lied on the witness stand, and Mr. Root, more concerned about preserving his career than seeking justice, threw me under the bus: the official Court transcript vs. the actual evidence on the record of the Court proves this. Not recommended.

Mr Shipp is great at what he does. He was able to help me with court and the DMV on a DUI charge. I was able to keep my license and avoided more jail time. I did not regret hiring him.

Hello, a few months ago I had the good fortune to come across the Shipp Law website as I was searching for attorneys that could help me with my 4th (felony) DUI case, this time in Park County (I live in Denver). So after the free phone consultation I decided to have Clay represent me. Fast forward to today, without getting into the details I was sentenced and he was able to get my DUI dropped to a much lesser charge, WITH NO JAIL! I would STRONGLY recommend them to anyone in my position and would use them again if I had to (please God no). Thank you Clay and the Shipp Law firm staff you guys are awesome!

If Dan uses the quote..”Give Me 5k I’ll make it go away”…He is NOT referring to your case,or pending charge. He is referring to your funds. He manipulated/convince my naive mind into hiring his firm. I have no prior history with the law, I thought it was a good idea to have someone who does know the law, representing me. My thinking at the time was, hiring this firm, would result in a better outcome. However, They never disclosed that because this is my first offense. No matter what, I would get the same results at sentencing. Regardless of whether or not I hired them. Unfortunately they gladly took my money. Sadly the only defense spoke on my behalf in court was. Dan notifying the court that “I’m 37yrs old and this is my first Offense”….everyone in court already knew this. The misrepresentation of counsel was insulting. I would not recommend them to anyone. They only want your money. They don’t care about defending their clients. I wish I never hired them, but at the time I felt they were the best option. Turns out representing myself would have been my best option.

Been waiting for Sean goodbody to settle my workman's comp claim for 2 years and eight months. Had told me that recently the claim was settled and I needed to fill out paperwork and return it to see my settlement. So I did. Then they told me that I needed to fill out more paperwork to get my money and still no settlement. It will be 3 years in February fighting this!

I called for a consultation, and Mr Garcia was very rude on the phone, I actually asked if I was bothering him by inquiring, as he was very short and not responding, lots of awkward silence in the whole 5 min phone call, and then I just said I would contact another firm and he replied 'do that' and hung up. Wouldn't recommended. Disappointing as he was recommended to me by a friend.

Mr Garcia handled my first family case for me in which I was facing losing my kids due to false allegations. Mr. Garcia protected my rights as a parent and the case went in my favor. Michael was very direct and straightforward regarding my situation. I did not have to repeatedly try and get updates from Mr. Garcia. I gave him anything I could to help him in my case, continued on in my day to day tasks while having trust and remaining patient. My case was over with the results I wanted before the judge even heard my case. I then looked to Mr. Garcia to represent me in another family law case. When I arrived I was more than 5 hours late for our scheduled appointment however Mr. Garcia still managed to fit us in his schedule. My experience when using other attorneys was that they make you feel as you need them only because they want your money. Mr. Garcia did exactly opposite. He literally reenacted the court process as if we were in the court room with the judge himself. He explained to me the correct terminology, how to file paperwork, how to present my case as well as told me what to expect from her attorney and how to protect myself against the things he would do or say. After leaving his office I really felt as I could handle the case alone however I felt it's best to leave that to someone experienced. Mr. Garcia's rates are a little higher than others, however the cost for reassurance and results is little compared to the relationship between me and my children. I would highly recommend Mr. Garcia to others as well as use him for any other family court issues.

He is a great attorney. I’ve had a few other attorneys in the past that spent my whole retainer in no time I used Louis on a family matter and he did not. He knew what he was doing, his experience in the court system made it fast and quick and saved me money in the long run. Yeah his hourly rate is exspensive but you genuinely get what you pay for with this office. I’d highly recommend to anyone and everyone. He doesn’t waste time with small talk either he’s there to get the job done and get out of your pocket. I’m super happy with his counsel and I think you will be too.

As a business owner they tell you that your CPA and Attorney are your best friends. While I'm still learning and growing everyday, this firm has quickly become my legal team. They've supported me through everything from drafting and enforcing Operating Agreements, to purchasing business/entities, navigating hostile partnerships, and providing legal defense in frivolous employment disagreements. I would not be where I am today without the specific support from Paul Kloster and Chris Wilhelmi. Chris helped me navigate a 2.5yr legal battle with a disgruntled former employee. The case concluded with the opposing counsel dropping the case, firing two associate attorneys, and paying their own legal expenses. In the end, I didn't pay a dime to anyone other than my own legal team. Paul has supervised and counseled me on numerous entity acquisitions and business dealings. One example was where a partner turned hostile and was willing to drive a real estate acquisition into default. We were able to remove the partner and secure their shares well below market rate which allowed me to save the deal. I would not have been able to do any of this without Paul's guidance. All of this to say, if you're a business owner looking for a firm that knows their stuff and is able to navigate everything you might face, these guys have been invaluable to me. While their fees are respectable, they have always kept their word, and at times waived menial expenses on my behalf. As a small business owner, I put my stamp on Paul, Chris, and this firm.
