Mr. Chapman was an excellent lawyer. He helped lower my reckless driving charge and dismiss my other charge. He helped me in Jackson County. I got there a little late, but thankfully Mr. Chapman saved me and was able to talk on my behalf, and by the time I got there, everything was already said and done, and I couldn’t have asked for better results. He was also nice and professional when I spoke to him in person. I picked Mr. Chapman because his reviews were outstanding, and it seemed like his previous clients had a good experience with him, and I’m happy to say I had the same experience. I hired Aj as my defense attorney after getting pulled over for speeding and charged with a dui. I had not drank much at all but I was not sure what my bac was so I refused to blow and got arrested. During that time in my life I was going through the hardest things I’ve ever had to experience and I felt extremely lost and helpless. I did not think I had a problem with alcohol until I was ordered to not drink. I mentioned to Aj how I was struggling with it and started using it to cope with my depression. Aj guided me through getting the help I needed and encouraged me to keep staying strong. If it weren’t for his encouragement to seek treatment and his support when deciding to do it, I would not be able to say today I am 200 days sober. Aj wants the best outcome for his clients lives long term because he genuinely cares about them. 10/10 would recommend him for that. He has your best interest!

I retained Mr. Crawford for a traffic citation in Dunwoody. He was quick to respond and had excellent communication with me throughout the process. Despite short notice he was able to get everything he needed together and set me at ease. Mr Wehunt was extremely helpful and very dependable. He truly helped me with my case and I had 2 felonies and really thought I was going spend more time jail and truly thought I would really be always assumed as a terrible criminal and he got me a great plea deal. I got less time with probation and the least amount in fines and so much more. he made me feel comfortable in court when I was nervous and really thought I was going have bad outcome but he worded everything so I was able to understand. all my questions was answered and explained in every way. This is first time I have ever been in serious trouble and even been in court for crime. he kept in contact with me and even after my plea deal he still even contacted me after words to see if I still was okay or had any questions. he truly is a lawyer ur want on ur side.

One of the best decisions I’ve ever made was hiring Erin for a custody and support claim/counterclaim. Mr. John Rife is a lawyer I would recommend to anyone and everyone. He helped me get out of a really tough situation with the best possible outcome, in compliance with the law, and while taking the 'scary' out of needing a lawyer and being involved with the court system. John Rife provided excellent representation for my son who was arrested twice on drug offenses; one arrest occurring while he was out on bail for the first arrest. While my son was required to serve two months jail time while he was awaiting his court dates, Mr. Rife was able to get him probation, drug counseling, and community service with no additional jail/prison time to serve. I believe Mr. Rife's established rapport with law enforcement/judicial officials in Cobb County helped in my son's case. He was also very responsive to me and my husband and my son throughout the process, despite the fact that he was very busy with other cases. I would definitely recommend Mr. Rife if you are in need of an experienced criminal attorney in Cobb County.

I wanted to wait a few months before posting a review of Siemon Law Firm, just to fully process my divorce journey and experience using this law firm. Overall, I had a fairly pleasant experience and my attorney, Jordan Edwards, got me everything that I asked for. However, there are a few observations that I want prospective clients to understand when not only dealing with this particular law firm, but any divorce lawyer in general.
1) These lawyers do not care about your emotions or what you are going through. They are here to represent you to the best of their ability while refreshing the retainer as much as they can. When you speak with them, skip the small talk and pleasantries because every single second is being charged. This brings me to my second point.
2) Ensure that your correspondence with your respective lawyer is structured, which will reduce the amount of times you need to have a telephonic conversation or send an email. One of the tactics I noticed that they will do is purposefully extend a conversation with gibberish just to justify billing you; or instead of sending you one detailed email, they will send you several short email messages and bill you for each. It is imperative that you set the boundaries of expectations when it comes to communication. Doing so will save you a lot of money.
3) Divorces aren’t cheap and this law firm will remind you that with the number of times the retainer is refreshed. My divorce didn’t even go to trail, but in all it costed me north of $20k. Keep in mind that when you do your “free” consultation they will give you an arbitrary retainer fee of what it cost to go to mediation and what that retainer will be should it go to trail. Expect that cost to be substantially higher when it’s all said and done. It is imperative that you scrutinize the summary of charges. You will see things like “team meetings”, document review, etc. Which brings me to my final point.
4) You must be proactive during your divorce process. My divorce was finalized in April of 2024. I would have never known that unless I reached out to the law firm for a status in which they immediately sent me a copy of my signed decree. I do find it strange at the fast turnaround of response, yet I was still being billed for “team meetings” etc. I speculate they were trying to reduce as much of my retainer as possible prior to closing my file….but that’s just a speculation.
In all, these key points aren’t a knock against Siemon Law Firm, but just lessons learned from my point of view. Jordan Edwards did a remarkable job in ensuring I retained the house, 100% of my military pension, and minimum payout to my ex-wife. I would most definitely recommend this law firm. Mr. Jim Hamilton is an excellent and knowledgeable attorney. I have always went to Mr. Hamilton with any legal issues that I have experienced, from criminal defense to family law. The Chanco and Hamilton firm was a great experience for me. Both were very knowledgeable and actually do care about you as an individual. They would keep me informed regularly and would give great advice on how to look good and prepared before the actual court date. After the initial court date, Mr. Chanco and Hamilton were not happy with the ruling that they had sentenced me and actually went on to fight it which resulted in another court date, which he represented me, free of charge. These guys do not just look at you as another client, but as someone they do care for. I would absolutely recommend this firm.

I hired him for my son on a major felonie case. Over the 3 years it took to go to trial he met with my son for maybe 30 minutes and he never brought the offered deals to him or anyone. He and I found out after he was convicted that they even existed. Now he has a ridiuclously long sentence and won't be out until well after Banks is gone.

Every case is different, but i couldn't have asked for better results from Mr. Banks. He took a 2nd DUI to court and got a Not Guilty. He saved my CDL's, me jailtime, and saved me a lot if headache. He got several motions passed that were key in my case. Not to mention, he had some excellent arguments in the courtroom. He will steer you in the right direction, as how to handle your case, and do his best to resolve the matter in your best interest. He was able to lift some weight off my shoulders and i would definetly recommend him.

Frank and his team lied to me on more than one occasion. He was hard to get in touch with and would not return calls. I was told by him and his team I did not have to worry about a deposition. They told me the day before my deposition that I had to be there. No preparation. He and his team lied to my mother as well. Frank charged me thousands of dollars and did nothing to defend me in court, even though I spent hours gathering information that they requested for our court appearance. Frank will tell you what you want to hear and let you burn at the stake. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN!!!!

Would not hire this lawyer again for even defense of a parking ticket. Hired this lawyer approximately March 2014 and was told that my two year limitation of filing was in November 2015.
Lawyer used up the time. He advised me by phone on 31 of October 2015, with follow up letter on November 6, 2015 that the malpractice case was not worth pursuing (risk reward); remaining filing time was basically used up and I did not have sufficient time to pursue other legal help in my case.

I agree 100% with the other review. We did not receive invoices until the matter was closed and there was an over $2,000 discrepancy between what he returned and what we know should have been returned. Plus did work and billed us after being told not to.

So far he's the worst attorney's I have ever had. He does not keep you informed about anything, changes things and does things without your approval. Typical attorney "talk" but in the end you see no result. Fairly pricey for the lack of effort he puts in. Do not waste time, energy or money to deal with him. Would definitely NOT recommend him to anyone.

I have never met this man and never intend to just from a telephone call I had with him. I could tell from the moment he picked up the phone - he was having a bad day. I asked a few questions and the next thing I know he is cursing at me and calling me a smart a$$. So unprofessional and uncalled for - needless to say I ended the call. I do not recommend. He left several thousand dollars on the table in my divorce because instead of a supoena for the financial records, he left it up to me. Needless to say my ex didn't willingly hand them over. So my ex gets to keep 100% profit of an investment that I funded 100%.
He talked a big impressive game at the consultation and I felt confident. As soon as he was paid he was pretty much finished doing anything except showing up to mediation. And even then he tried to talk me out of some of my demands. The mediator is the one that allowed me to keep them all. And then after the divorce was final I had trouble locating a document I needed. I got no reply when I requested they send me a copy.
