I still don't have the words to describe what Nathan has done for me. Not only is he the most decent lawyer I've ever met, but also a decent human being. Not once did I feel like I was talking to a lawyer. His human decency outweighs everything. He got me something irreplaceable and beyond sentimental. Because of him I still have my son's belongings who passed away 5 years ago. Id recommend him to any and everyone. Thank you Nathan for showing me there are still good people in this world.

First we are owners of the Convent of the Holy Nativity In Fond Du Lac Wisconsin. To Note we won the Appeal, Kimberly Penix a Very Nice woman helped us win our Appeal.
We unfortunatley we not treat right, or fair, But held onto faith in God and trying to do the right Thing. Kimberly and her Council with Our Attorney Dan Kaminsky helped us sooo much. Her knowledge of the law was impressive and she impressed the The Judges and through logic we succeeded but with her help being blessed by God.
And Saved a Historic Property The Convent.., At least we were able to breathe with the help she gave and didn't have to worry over the premature razing of the property.
What could be worst then having to face that awful fact. I feel like she was a real blessing to us. we were tired, exhausted and belittled by unjust prosecution and assumptions bad basically. We should have been working together, our side was but communication was awry... and against us.. leaving us dejected and feeling discriminated against in so many ways.... unreal. We were in essence being bullied.
Long Story short She helped us, and you know i believe God will give her the power to help you and whom ever comes in here path... she's that good, She explained and walked us paitently through the process.

Kimberly Penix is a knowledgeable, dedicated, hard working, take action type attorney that you want fighting for your rights. She did that for me were other attorneys knowingly dropped the ball. When selecting representation for my daughter's DUI case, David was the only lawyer who took the time to listen to me as a parent and really show compassion and understanding of our situation. Not only are his fees reasonable, but his knowledge and experience gave us all comfort that my daughter would be in good hands. It was the first time she'd ever been in any sort of legal trouble, so he was able to give us calm during a very scary and unknown period of time.
Since we are not from Colorado it was crucial that there was good communication and explanation of Colorado law and process. He took the time to meet via zoom conference all with all of us several times during the process up through the court date. He was very responsive to all our questions and walked us through what was likely to happen.
What impressed me most about David is that he got my daughter working on some of the things ahead of time that the courts generally order you do after the court date. So by the time the court date came around, she was nearly done with almost everything except the community service. Most everyone who processed paperwork after the court date was really impressed with how far ahead she was, which means she got really GREAT advice from David.
Despite being a very stressful period for my daughter, who was also trying to get through her freshman year at CSU, he managed to turn a very fearful situation into something manageable, understandable, and no so scary. She will be finished with her supervised probation soon and her record sealed after one year. We've all learned valuable lessons and will never forget David for how much care he showed our family, and how calming and effective he was in resolving the case.

Eric is an outstanding lawyer. I was so thankful to have him help me through not one but two of my cases. One was my dui, while on probation I messed up and got a petty theft charge. Susan has experience on both sides of the law. A former prosecutor, judge and now a defense attorney she can professionally and competently navigate the judicial system to your best advantage. She knows the in/outs of the system, what works best for you and has the experience you are in need of.
I was accused of 3rd degree assault with a domestic violence enhancer. Using her knowledge of the system, her relationships with Prosecutors and her expertise in working criminal cases, all the charges were dropped without ever going to trail. As a matter of fact I never talked to anyone, never met with a Prosecutor/D.A. or had to see the insides of a court room. Great job, professional service and fantastic advice.

Used Jeff to defend and finally expunge a ridiculous charge against my child in school. Kid stuff blown way out of proportion. Jeff was attentive and straight up about the options available for our case and it was handled in a straightforward manner. I was very worried and stressed when I found myself in trouble. So I had to seek help in my case immediately. I hired Kirk Waible as soon as I heard from a friend he was a great lawyer and would fight until i was in a comfortable state with moving forward in my case. Very punctual and professional. I found he dug much further to find any evidence needed to better myself and the case of any false accusations that were held against me. As a first-time offender I had no clue what to expect or how to proceed, but luckily, I found Kirk! Kirk's experience, professionalism, and calming presence helped me get through this rough time. His confidence is what gained my trust, so I was able to put my legal situation to the side to let him take the reins. Matt is very compassionate with people who have mental illnesses and have been caught up in the legal system. Facing F2 SO charges. Matthew took his time to understand the case. He took his time to review all of the evidence with me. He made a plan. When I questioned his view point he brought in other attorneys to do a mock trial to show me the problems. He explained the legal process (which is no where close to logical). He spent 11 months defending me against the DA's office. When we didnt get what we were asking for he prepared to take it to trial. Just before trial he finally got the DA to agree to reasonable terms. Each case is different but having a public defender who knows the SO system is powerful. He is the public defender other private attorneys call when they need advice as each case is unique. He is a model of true public service. Who treats all his clients with compassion and respect.

Matt Lander's is not only the best in his field of work, as he's more than capable and over qualified in his position at the Public Defender's Dept, but perhaps one of thee most compassionate, kind and genuine human beings youll ever meet. I felt fortunate! I'd never met ANY ATTORNEY with a more sincere desire to do right by his clients and to show his thoughtfulness?! Im not just sayimg this. If you care about living in each day, knowing you might pass from this world not getting to see this man do his job, youll have really missed something? Id never met him before I needed assistance with DUI charges, which was related to my failing body/mind, since Im deathly ill from cancer of 12 yrs. Because ive been sooo sick, my body wasnt clearing even one or two drinks after waiting 2 hrs before attempting to drive. Tho i was shocked and embarressed over the whole incident! However, police arent trained to recognize signs of cancer or other severe diseases, when they do those roadsides, and in my case, i found the officers actually have to fabricate their to win for Another words, the police/law system's agenda is simply to serve the system, not to help...more about power, winning, bringing in $$$ and ladder climbing, rather than being upright, honest, showing dignity and being our children's role model's!?
However, Ive known a lot of lawyers, in my proffessional life, and have never met a more "true blue", genuinely compationate and clearly an absolute selfless human being in this field, until Matt Landers.
Its rare to meet this high level of a human soul, anywhere, but to find one in a Public Defenders office is like finding the highest quality well cut diamond in your cornflakes?! Lol
Because Mathew's got a long background as a Social Worker, he takes a great deal of time attending to your personhood, and trying to put himself in tbe shoes of each client's unique situation. I never ever felt judged, by Matt,...in fact, the opposite! He treated me with grace and dignity, well...better than about 95% of the population treat one another.
He truly cares, and I was taken back by his wealth of knowledge, temperance in court and truley showing me kindness!
When i was told by 3 other public defenders, even though i was on my death bed, "nobody cares, least of all a judge", *paraphrased*...""so get ready to go to jail, and if you happen to die while in jail, Im sorry,...but that's the way the system works"". No one fought for me, before Mr Landers! He finally got my case dismissed.
While im still terminally ill & counting my days, i was never so well taken care of and happily relieved he was able to go to the judge and really explain to them, "it wouldn't make sense to send a women in Hospice to jail, only to let her die quicker"?!
Anyway, Im grateful God saw fit to put such a wonderful human being in my life, even for a short time. He's truly a gift to the community certainly shows his deeper purpose/calling on his life, through his work.
The 1st day i met him, he spent a couple hours asking me questions and I could tell he really cared. He said he wanted to "hear his client's stories, because its important!"
Mathew works tirelessly, for a pittance these PD's make, in their thankless exhausting jobs
I cant say enough, here, about the character of this attorney! Youd be very blessed to get him in your corner.
He didnt save my life, but i did get to experience a truly upright, compassionate and kind soul, before i go, and it's made all the difference, in tbe small amount of time i might have left..

Rob was excellent. My case was difficult and extensive and I feel he worked very hard to get me the best outcome. I was nervous through my whole case and every time I talked to him he put me at ease. He took the time to explain anything I didn't understand, which was a lot. He never made me feel like I was alone in this. He never push me in any decision. He explained my options, which changed often through my drawn out case, told me the pros and cons of each and let me decide how I wanted to proceed. He was the only lawyer I talked to and not once did I think about going to someone else. I would definitely recommend him to anyone that could use his services!

I first contacted Thomas Ridgely in 2018 as I was going through a very uncomfortable divorce. My ex-wife's family had a lot of money and power behind and it was just me I felt defeated already. So at my mother's insistence I lookup up an attorney to consult with I was lucky enough to get Thomas Ridgely, it completely changed my outlook. It was very honest my first consultation didn't cost me a cent he told me what my options were after I hired him he got to work immediately he was easily accessible always return my phone calls. Ms. Sage provided excellent counsel during a difficult time, and I only wish I had let her prove her skills by taking my case to trial. I was persuaded to plead my case down, only because circumstances would have ensured a prison sentence had I been found guilty, but in hindsight, I know she would have stopped at nothing to win my case. I was involved in a traffic accident in Fort Collins, Colorado. I resided in Kansas and knew I needed an attorney to prepare for hearing, and represent me in Fort Collins Colorado. I did some online research. The Leier Law Office presentation was impressive. Broad experience, free consultation, flat fee, and accessibility .
Kent Leier petitioned the Judge and obtained permission for me to appear virtually via Web Ex rather than travel to Colorado. Kent gathered evidence and kept me apprised as the hearing date approached. Kent advised me to stand before the judge because Kent had a good working relationship and plead down, which turned out to be extraordinarily valuable because the DA was advocating actions far more punishing in her opening statement.

I cannot recommend Sarah enough! No one wants to have to deal with family court issues, but if you do, this is absolutely the law firm to use! Throughout the entire process, Sarah was knowledgeable, kind, empathetic, organized, and realistic. My emails/calls were always answered quickly, and Sarah was always clear and honest as far as what to expect, giving her advice while also listening to my concerns. My only regret is I didn't use her when I first got divorced, haha...this was for a bunch of post-decree stuff, that unfortunately went allllll the way to a hearing. In the courtroom, Sarah was clearly much more prepared than the other counsel, organized, and had made sure I was very clear on what to expect/do, and you can tell she is smart, quick, (and also tough as she cross-examines!) I ended up getting not just everything I wanted, but extra things I didn't expect as well. However, even the outcome was less than that, I would still be recommending her, because of how helpful and amazing she and her staff were for the entire years-long process leading up to this. She was also fair in her billing, (and didn't let the other party or my witness run extra time on the billing clock.) I hope you never need a family attorney, but if you do, this is the one to use.

So happy I came to Andrew Bertrand for criminal defense. I had 3 different open cases within 1 week. I needed help fast. I called and spoke with 6 other different lawyers and the pricing was insane.
