Rachel made sure she understood what my goals for the outcome was when negotiating a plea deal and made sure that we got it. She also made sure that I was adequately prepped before each session and made sure I didn’t have any questions after we were done. I didn’t have a lot of expectations going in because she was a court appointed defender, but I pleasantly surprised and she did an awesome job.

In my opinion Chris is a true professional. He has the knowledge and experience to navigate the complex legal and justice system with ease and finesse. My experience has been filled with education, great advice and complete follow through. The legal system is filled with enormous pitfalls and confusion. Chris not only has the experience to overcome these obstacles through his experience, he has the wherewithal to see what is being put on the table, methodically address the issue at hand to negotiate and resolve the issue with a fair and clear resolution. My only regret is; I wish, I would have been introduced years before.

I hired Atty Chris Wirth 10 days prior to my trial date. Without hesitation he took my case. From 0 custody with a supervisor to a 50/50 is a huge win for me. Jeff Kortes put some extra work in convincing the assistant DA to get my case dismissed. A few months ago I was charged with felony child abuse in a matter involving my son. I didn’t like the prospect of going to trial, and pleading to a reduced charge would have some bad consequences. I understand that most cases are settled during the 1st court appearance however we had to do some extra work to get a dismissal.
Jeff always replied to my emails the same or next day and I liked that he usually answers his phone, unlike most lawyers. He also asked the judge to modify bond conditions and allow me travel out of state.
Overall Jeff is a very professional, understanding and experienced attorney.

Jeff and his team did a great job managing my case. This was the worst thing to ever happen to me, but he and his staff helped me navigate this troublesome time. They kept me in the loop on what was happening with my case in the court and answered the many questions that I had for them. Mr. Kortes was sensitive to my work schedule and often gave his time for consultation after normal work hours. Communication between him and his office was always prompt. Most of all, he is extremely knowledgeable with these types of cases. After the incident, he asked specific and pointed questions to help improve the outcome. I felt very comfortable leaving my fate in his expert hands; it is obvious he has defended many clients in similar circumstances.

I hired Mr. Kortes in August 2015 to represent my son, a college student, for a probation violation for 2 misdemeanors from 2014. My son organizationally challenged, absent minded and struggles with attention (all diagnosed), and missed a recent probation appointment. As this was not his first, he was facing jail time for the remainder of his probation.
Knowing that my son was truly trying to get his life in order, we wanted representation for a probation violation (PV) hearing, which I believe is not the norm. My son’s original lawyer was not available. Mr. Kortes, with the assistance of his partner, Jerry Lykins, stepped up to bat the day before the hearing. Mr. Kortes was able to successfully represent my son by highlighting the progress he has made in the last 6 months, his diagnosed condition and the support system in place to help him stay on right track. The hard work is now up to my son to comply with all aspects of his probation before another review next year. Mr. Kortes paved the way to an outcome that I am told was truly unprecedented.

Amanda did an excellent job defending me against a bogus domestic violence charge, which I stood my ground on and refused to plead to. She singlehandedly debunked the testimony of 4 witnesses and brought out the truth of the case in front of a jury. Yes this case went all the way to a jury trial that lasted 12 hours, and thanks to her confidence and determination, I was rendered a verdict of not guilty.

Pavol far exceeded my expectations. Although felony charges had been brought up against me, Pavol encouraged me to decline several initial deals that were offered to me. He was prepared and ready to go to trial in my best interest, as these charges would have ruined my career and threaten my livelihood. Although this area of law was less familiar to him, he spent the time to learn the specifics and focused on areas that would weaken a case against me. He doggedly attacked testimony of a state trooper that led him to admit that I was unlawfully detained. The trooper later admitted that he too was impressed with Pavol’s pretrial performance. Ultimately, all charges were dropped as a result of Pavol’s determination and rigor. I would 100% recommend this lawyer to anyone. He is worth every penny. I couldn’t be happier.

During a very difficult time in which I had gotten myself into some trouble, Jason was extremely helpful in assisting me. His professionalism and kind-heart showed through the way he worked with me without judgement, but also with my best interest in mind. He took the time to get to know me and truly make the case a personal one amidst the cold-hard facts of what I had done. My sentence was significantly reduced from what I was originally charged with and my consequences were much less than any other individual who would have landed on the sentence I ended with. I attribute this to Jason and his thoroughness and work on my case in making it personal to my circumstances and taking into consideration my past behavior. Not only from the court perspective was Jason successful, but he was very kind throughout the process, as I was visibly having a hard time. When I first met Jim I was facing a Domestic Assault charge out of Grandville Michigan. Quickly he went to work gathering information and staying in constant contact in order to dig at the case. His confidence picked me up when I felt very discouraged. I had a tremendous amount of pressure riding on the outcome of my case.
While in jail he visited me and continued to hash away at my case. He gave me hope even when I had none. His confidence, dedication and hard work as a lawyer are all virtues that you would look for in representation. Above all else he was my friend when I had none. I would highly recommend this law firm for family/custody disputes. I dealt with not only a child custody dispute, but then a custody violation with multiple twists of the newly enacted child custody agreement and in both instances Dan was amazing. Dan knows the law very well and lays out the best avenues to take, was consistent and thorough, and was not fazed by the antics from the other side. Working with this lawyer was a great experience after I had requested quotes from many others in the State of Michigan and Grand Rapids Area. Every lawyer I have had in the past would just settle for the D.A 's plea deals at arraignment. James Fisher doesn't settle, he goes out of the way for his clients. Mr. Carpenter took the time to listen to what I wanted. My divorce was setteled out of court but he was fully prepared to represent me in court. The settlement was better than I expected. Hello I am Reverend Michael Malouf , I would like to share a experience that we had with Mr Jason Miller . The year of 2010 was the most horrific year I have ever lived in the 62 years of my life. As most of the USA the foreclosures and laws changed dramatically. We were caught up in a very difficult situation as the Mortgage holder of a rather large valuable piece of property.
We had a rather nasty person who had quit making mortgage payments to us . This individual contested every way she could to try to steal this property from us and had it not been for Jason's wisdom and tenacious responses. We would have given up and lost our First note and deed of trust to a very dishonest person.
Jason knew every little legal maneuver and his timing was impeccable. I have had other lawyers and they were good but Jason Miller is leaps and bounds ahead every one I thought was good.
If anything ever goes sideways I can depend on this man to step up to the plate and he will hit a grand slam.
