I was young and stupid. I had accrued a hefty number of traffic related infractions. Parking tickets. Speeding. Suspended driver's license. No insurance. Multiple times each. I paid no heed to them and didn't even bother to go to court or pay fines. I added contempt of court to that. So, I left the islands and over the years got my act together. I got my masters. I got a job. I also wanted to fix my legal standing since I had the money. I consulted Ms. Gutierrez and received a thorough evaluation. She painstakingly gathered my decade and plus old profile and started creating a clear picture of what legal hurdles I had up against. I was impressed with her objective analysis. Just to be thorough, I consulted two other lawyers. They merely gave a half-hearted analysis and guarantee to fix everything, then a heavy price quote. One lawyer quoted for himself a practically blank check for his services. Neither inspired much confidence, despite the comparison between Ms. Gutierrez neutral and cautious analysis versus their more positive dispositions toward my cases. I went with her.
She outlined her plan to dismiss all of my cases. She outlined for me how to pay back some fines. She had my warrants dismissed (even the no-recall ones). She did an outstanding job. I am very pleased with her performance.

I called Patrick McPherson after a vehicle theft incident. I was immediate answered by Patrick and not a secretary or someone that had to put me on hold. I told him the situation and gave him the details, he never once made me feel stupid and explained in an easily understandable what to do. He assisted me in reaching out to the police officers and I ended up getting my vehicle back the same day. He also gave me advice on what to do with my insurance and how to handle the situation. Patrick made the process as simple and possible, helped greatly, and made a very stressful day a lot better. I would recommend this lawyer/law firm to anyone living in Oahu, Easily 5 stars.

Tyson advised my family through a very sticky legal estate issue. He was incredibly responsive and thorough in answering questions, and gave sound advice. The job ended up being more complicated than anticipated, but the total amount was within the range that he had estimated because he was very clear in explaining "if X, then it could be about $5,000, but if Y and Z happen, it could run up to $15,000-20,000". I appreciated Tyson's calm advice and speedy responses to time sensitive matters. I am so glad we found Tyson to help with our estate issues.

Look to someone who understands the intricacies of the SJA, and the machine that seeks to vilify; rather than to vindicate. His in-depth understanding of countering the legal office is what will win your case. Constitutional rights our forebearers fought for us to have. As service members, we have rights guaranteed by Law. We fight for what we have, and we have rights (even during our service). (Let this aforementioned statement emanate) Understanding this with a world class representation will save your good standing for the rest of your life. Decisions at this point are pivotal in a service members career. Given the due diligence to get to this point, It was not an easy feat nor decision, but it is one that saved my life. David was my first choice, and I made the right decision.

Ofir impressed me from the get-go and continued to up until the end and it wasn't like he was the first person I called; I initially reached out to maybe ten local attorneys on this matter while doing market research. He was easy to talk with, not slimy, didn't have an attitude nor was he condescending (unlike many of his peers), no hidden fees, and always quick to respond / highly communicative which equally is a rarity among lawyers of any sort. No regrets and in fact, I am actually surprisingly satisfied for once with a legal service I paid for. I would highly recommend.

Man, I tell you. I was in trouble back then, I couldn't even do anything to cope up with the situation. I asked my sister if she knows anyone that could help me with my finances and freaking I was lucky enough, she told me that her ex knows somebody that helped him like it was nothing at all. I was actually very desperate as I do not have any peace of mind anymore. So then he referred me to Atty Ed. And then, scheduled for appointment, straight forward with everything. Just follow the instructions he gave, one and done! The next schedule, just show in the courtroom. I thought I was going to literally suffer infront of the judge since it's my first time. But whoops! Little did I know, it was a simple questions and I was dismissed! All those guys pestering you, gone! And he loves the symbolism of the Rooster. We have the same Philosophy. He probably knows who I am with this review. LOL!

My initial impression of Ben Summit was that he did not respond very well in resolving conflict. This was because he was slow to respond. However, after having an extended discussion with him (He represents my brother, and I am acting as my own attorney) we had a good discussion of the facts. He was reasonable and easy to talk to. In 2021, I experienced an excruciating motor vehicle accident. It was so challenging and each day felt like I came up against different road blocks. The person who struck me had his license revoked and had no insurance. I felt very helpless. The medical bills were stacking up and I knew that if I didn't do something I would be in loads of debt. I called Tateishi and Tanaka and spoke to a very kind woman named Madelyn, she scheduled a time for me to meet with her boss, Bryan Tanaka. I felt like there was no good case here but he was willing to take me on. I had uninsured motorist coverage and essentially was working to get bills covered by my own insurance even though I was not driving a car at the time of the accident. Bryan helped me navigate so many challenges with the insurance companies, different practitioners, and took a huge load off my plate by taking on the responsibility of communicating with them, so I didn't have to. What got me about having him represent me is that he genuinely cared as to if I was okay. If I was stressed about anything, I would just call or email. In my much younger years, I had experienced a hit and run where someone struck my car. Because I didn't know how to navigate the system, I was unable to get compensation to help with medical bills. Because of Bryan, I had all my bills taken care of and enough to cover future medical procedures or care. Mahalo Bryan! You and Madelyn are the best!

Horrible. Save your time and money. Look for another Law firm. They are horrible. I asked to speak to Mr. Turbin and the Paralegal said he is too busy to talk with me. So I asked if I could talk with her, and she said she is too busy to talk with me. That is a red flag from the start. They never even reviewed our case but they said that they did. How can they review 1,300 pages of medical records in 2 days. Horrible. I am glad to go to another Attorney that makes time for their clients.
And I didn't even ask to talk with you about talking with 1,300 pages. It was only 4 pages tops of notes. So you knew the meret of the case. How would you know what I wanted to talk about or how many pages I had. You didn't even make time for me. You and your Paralegal said you don't have time for me even before I said how many pages I had or said anything else.
You said I'm not credible... I have the entire conversation between myself and your office staff recorded. It shows your sketchy.
And I didn't even demand nothing. I asked if I could please make an appointment to talk with an attorney. And they said your too busy. Then I asked if i could please schedule with the Paralegal and she said she is too busy and can't talk with me.
I just had some questions. But it shows your character. You lying and making up stories and you don't make time for your clients. I have everything recorded. So I have the proof.
But then again it shows you and your staffs character. It is what it is. There are better attorneys out there that truly care and take the time to help their clients.

If I could leave a zero-star review I would. This high-paid attorney double-downed on his already-heightened hourly rate, by bringing in a second attorney without disclosing it to his client. So we got a bill for two attorneys for one hour. $1000 an hour for “expertise” that didn’t help us at all highway robbery. He should be ashamed. Don’t let legalese talk you out of your own hard-earned money. Seek the aid of someone who actually cares about their clients. Auwe.

I hired him for less then 10 days, he over charged me , said I would be refunded some money then blocked me...... don't trust this guy, and when I asked to see a list of my costs, a breakdown of what I am being charged for, ie the math, he took way more then 10%, which is what the client agreement said he could keep if I released him from the case....
