I have nothing but good things to say about Robert. He was very straight forward from the get go. He was helpful and walked me through the process and told me what to expect with the process and what he needed from me. He also worked with me on making payments. I met with him initially and only one more time only to wrap up all the paperwork that was to go to the court. After that we just had a conference call-in court date. When you are not a lawyer yourself, it is very helpful that the lawyer you have entrusted to handle your BK provides all the information about what to expect. Knowing this is so important, since you are being recorded by the court trustee. I had no stress the day we had our conference call and there were no surprises. Had a pretty bad accident. The other guys insurance was giving me the run-around, so I called El Dabe and they literally took care of everything. Got me into the doctors (at no cost to me), got me a rental car (at no cost to me) got my car fixed (at the shop I chose at no cost to me) and after it was all done, got me a nice FAT check. The girls in the office were awesome, constantly checking in to make sure I had everything I needed and always following up each step of the way.

Marc helped me out with a traffic ticket that I got a few years back. I don't live in California and I needed Marc to appear in court for me. He informed me that there would be additional fees added to the initial fine for the ticket. In the end, he got the fine reduced which I was hoping he could do. We communicated by email and he replied promptly. He was a great help and seemed to really do anything he could to keep things fair between his client and the court.

I sent a few clients over to Matt both criminal defense and family law. And I was amazed when he was able to get three felony counts with three to five years of jail time reduced to a misdemeanor and 6 months. Then he got my buddy's daughter home for Christmas after untangling a bad ruling from a less experienced attorney. Matt is a bulldog and the judge can't say no when he argues the law. One of the best attorneys I know and he's also a very generous supporter and contributor to service disabled veterans. The guy is a stud, class act.

I just so happened to stumble my way here. I was looking for a different type of attorney and came across Mat Singer. I got myself in some trouble in 2017, and i dont have the best track record. I thought I would be doing multiple years in prison because of my past. I hired Mr.Singer to represent me. Court dates came and went for nearly a year. I at times questioned what he was doing, but when all was said and done, i basically got a slap on the hand with a feather by the Judge and D.A. I highly recommend Mat. I got a ticket and decided to go to court to fight it. Fortunately I had Chuck as my lawyer, Chuck did research and pointed out to the judge that the law required two steps to make a violation and only one existed. My name is Armando Zatarain and I am a private investigator. I worked with Mr.Stoddard for the first time approximately ten years ago. It was a multi-million dollar fraud case and our client was charged with multiple felonies. The client was accused of being the ring leader in an international scheme that resulted in a $20,000,000 loss to major insurance companies. Chuck worked diligently for over a year and was successful in getting the case reduced to a misdemeanor and no jail time. I have worked many other cases with Chuck almost all of them have had good or great results. He is an extremely intelligent man, but he is also very kind and considerate. His clients are usually as impressed with how nice he is as well as how well he handles their cases. He has done more than his share of work for clients that needed him, but could not afford him. His clients constantly refer other people in need to him without fear or reservation. I do the same.
Chuck's experience and his keen insight led him on one occasion to discover that the police had searched a car without proper authority. I had read the same report and missed that important point. The DA was faced with dismissal of the case or giving the client a greatly reduced sentence and credit time served. He chose the latter rather than lose the motion. On another occasion a client was charged with molesting his step daughter. No physical evidence was found; only the testimony of the juvenile who did not like the step dad because he was a strict disciplinarian. We went over the case time and time again. The client insisted on going to trial although it was the victim's word against the client and she had already testified like an expert at prelim. Chuck found inconsistencies in her testimony during trial and exploited them. The client was facing 18 years in prison and lifetime registration for a crime he had not committed. The client was found not guilty at trial. A man was charged with felony hit and run. He was facing multiple years in prison. He had been held for four months pending trial; Chuck got the entire case dismissed literally on the eve of trial because the police had arrested the wrong man.

I have (for better of worse) had the need to engage a handful of attorneys over the years, and without a doubt, I will attest to the fact that Chuck Stoddard would be my de facto go to guy going forward...unless of course it was outside the scope of his expertise...in which case he reffered a friend of mine to another high caliber lawyer.
Chuck (unlike some others) is not just about the money, he is truly campassionate...perhaps with an extra dash of vigor in my case since such case is baseless....he is extreemely knowledgable and a stand up guy.

My previous lawyer dropped my case due to my financial obligation in the middle of Trial. I consulted with Mr. Gold for my divorce case and he was able to work with me on a reasonable fee. I called him for a consultation just before Christmas weekend. I let him know that I would call him if I wanted to schedule an appointment. After the long weekend he sent me multiple texts insulting me about the problem I had asked him about and then proceeded to threaten me for not hiring him as my lawyer. When consulting me he was very unprofessional and even asked if I had a friend I can pin it on.
Do not hire him!!! I'm glad I didn't! He is a very sketchy man. Very unprofessional. Very rude. You can tell he just wants your money.

I was on probation with my DUI case and foolishly drove under a suspended license. I am young and cannot afford a lawyer, but afraid to appear in court alone. I met with Mr. Jeffrey Gold and he gave me free consultation. I told him immediately, I don't have much money to work with here but would appreciate any advise you can give me. He went through my paperwork and said you need to do blah blah...and come back to me before your court date, I will help you. I was shocked he took his time to review my case without asking a dime. I came back to him 2 days before my court date and he still remembers me. He kept his word and appeared in court with me and only charge me for his time in court. The Judge greeted Mr. Gold as if she knew him, so my tension calmed a bit. In the end, I was so lucky I was given only 14 hours of community service. I swear i thought I was going to jail.

In the beginning, it was great. He was eager to help us and everything seemed to be going well until he signed us up. It took him forever to file the bankruptcy case and repeated emails/calls for status updates were ignored. It's as it was one way communication attorney... he wouldn't respond to any of our requests for updates; he only re-contacted us at the end of the process... not happy with the lack of updates and help after the case was over, but he did win the case in the end.

I hired Mr English for a divorce. I liked his no-frills website (which no longer exists) and that he is a vet. My case was a little unusual but he assured me he could help. I gave him $3000, and he got back to me with a case # right away. That was basically the last I heard of him. Phone calls went unanswered and unreturned. Emails were replied to with "I'll get back to you" and he never did. I even sent certified mail to his 3 addresses and no response. I ended up getting a new lawyer almost 2 years later. When I told him I was firing him and moving on, his response was "let me make this up to you". Unfortunately, making it up to me didn't include returning any of my $3000. So he got $3k from me for about an hour's work. To this day I don't know what happened.

I paid Paul Brar ten thousand dollars in 2014 and he failed to stand up or present any case or play the recording of a supposed DUI. He said absolutely nothing to the jury and is a disgrace. This man has no integrity and I would not hire him to feed my dog.
