I saw Erwin representing someone in Oldham County court, I approached him afterward and hired him to represent me.
I was impressed with his integrity. He did not sell me a bunch of BS to get my money, he spoke of want probably would occur. Most attorneys seem like they will tell you want it takes to get paid. Not Erwin.

Without hesitation I highly recommend Erwin Roberts as an attorney who knows his law and will go the extra mile for you. The basic outline of my story is this: I live in Cincinnati, was cited in Kentucky for a traffic violation, decided to seek counsel, found Joe Suhre in Cincinnati but was referred to Mr. Roberts in Louisville. With Mr. Roberts representing me, I pled guilty to the charges in Kentucky, paid a fine, attended a DIP and assumed all was well. But the Ohio BMV then threatened to take action on my KY violation, up to possibly suspending my right to drive. As a novice in these types of things, it struck me as odd and perhaps naively assumed that, of course, this was double jeopardy and that they could not do this. But the warning from the OH BMV meant, at a minimum, that I was going to be spending more of my personal time in court and, at worse, a suspended license. I informed Mr. Roberts of this and he immediately referred me back to Mr. Suhre. Joe wrote a letter to the Ohio BMV and the matter was cleared up, literally, within a few days. Not only did Joe Suhre handle this promptly but, as I had already compensated his colleague Mr. Roberts in Louisville, there was no additional fee! Throughout my dealings with both Mr. Roberts and Mr. Suhre, I was treated with great respect and genuine consideration for my well being. For the peace of mind that came with working with both of these gentlemen, the fee was modest indeed.

Brenda Popplewell is a true champion for the falsely accused.
Brenda saved my sister from the death penalty. My sister was falsely accused of capital murder and robbery—crimes she did not commit. The jury found my sister Not Guilty of all charges. I have since learned how rare it is for a jury to come back with a Not Guilty verdict in a death penalty case. In Brenda’s opening statements to the jury, in her cross examination of the lead detective, and in her closing arguments to the jury—we felt the jury was with Brenda. Brenda helped the jury to see the evidence that proved my sister was innocent.
Brenda believed in my sister’s innocence, and she saw the truth when no one else cared to even look for it. Economic background or social status mean nothing to Brenda, she is a true friend of all the people. She treats all of her clients with respect, and if she believes in someone’s innocence, she won’t stop until she proves it.
Brenda was so prepared she was able to overcome every obstacle thrown in her way to prove the allegations against my sister were false. She researched and investigated everything, from DNA evidence, to witness statements— down to the tiniest of details.
With her "never give up" attitude, and expertise, she uncovered the lies and truths, causes and effects, and brought truth and justice out in the courtroom. Brenda is not intimidated by opposing legal teams, but they are intimidated by her. Don't let her petite frame and sweet soft spoken voice mislead you—Brenda is a warrior in the courtroom. It is difficult to describe the impact she had on my sister and our family. She gave my sister her life back, and brought her home to her family. I recently created an estate plan for a Michigan client and required an attorney licensed in Kentucky to create a deed and other transfer items to convey Kentucky real estate into a Michigan trust. Mr. Winchell has been my attorney for the past six years. When I was seeking out an attorney for my divorce I went to a friend who I trust ethically in law and asked who they thought would be the most ethical attorney who wouldn't waste my time and money on unnecessary courtroom theatrics, as well as spend time arguing semantics which have nothing to do with the law or the divorce. I made it clear I had absolutely nothing to hide and that truth would win the day. Mr. Winchell took my case, after which I watched him methodically use truth, experience, and his expert knowledge of the law to tear apart the lies and deceptions of one of the most crooked attorneys I have ever witnessed. This was also after getting ripped off by two previous attorneys.
There were times I was tempted to argue emotion, like so many do, but he was clear in letting me know the law and truth are what mattered, and that is what would be focused on. I can't imagine how much my fees would have been if he had let me use him as my therapist like so many try to do with attorneys. Short of tragedy on his end of things, I can't imagine having another attorney in my corner when I need to go to family court to answer more ridiculous and erroneous motions filed by my ex. Mr. Winchell is forthright about what he needs to know, and do, on behalf of his clients. To some this may come across as being abrupt, but I can assure you, anytime he needs to talk and you to be quiet is time which is saving you money and working in your favor.
Not only is Mr. WInchell competent and astute, he also has one of the best administrators working behind the scenes to make sure you have the best help available to represent you in what can be a very unpleasant setting. I highly recommend Mr. Winchell if you are wanting someone who knows the law in family court, and won't waste your time and money letting your emotions rule the day. If you need therapy, then go hire a therapist, but if you want the best representation you can find in a court of law in Bullitt County, then Mr. Winchell is your man. I have recommended numerous people to him over the years, and will continue to do so with the full confidence that should they retain him, they won't be disappointed in the least.

Mr. Browne was contacted from me while I resided in Indiana. His legal expertise were precise and direct to the point but he also maintained a bond with concern of the hardships that traveling back and forth from Indiana were causing us. This woman is one of the best lawyers out there. She came to my rescue when I had no where else to turn.
