I hired Mr. Thames for a serious traffic charge (DUI). While handling this case another unfortunate event lead to another traffic charge (Driving without a valid license). Both charges could have effected my employment greatly. Mr. Thames helped me immensely on a professional and personal level. He made sure everything dealing with the court was handled although I was out of state and lead me through the court process so I would understand everything that was going on. In the end one charge was reduced drastically to a small fine, the other charge was dropped and my arrest records were restricted. When i tell you that i was highly impressed and beyond satisfied with my phone interaction - there are not enough words in our English vocabulary to describe truly how impressed I was with my phone interaction with Mr. Carter. Met with him once in court was a bit worried because I had never met with him or talked with him other than through his assistant but even when I didn't talk to him directly or know what was going on he was fighting in the background the deal he had worked out was very fair for the charges that were against me (Noone is as innocent as they say they are ) but the deal was fair and I am happy it's done and over with ... don't read a bad review and think he's not doing what he can I saw bad reviews for people that had a gun or drug charge and mad they didn't get away with it there are laws for a reason and you still have to follow them do the crime pay the price he is a very good attorney and I would highly recommend him to anyone and urge to anyone to go to carter and foster for their needs if they can't help you I'm sure they can point you in the correct direction.

When I was charged with DUI, I hired Bob to defend me. He avoided the pretrial suspension for failing the breath test, and ultimately tried the case to a jury, which found me not guilty of the charge. At the trial, Bob expertly pointed out all the flaws committed by the arresting officer in administering the field sobriety tests. After his cross examination of that officer, there was no basis for concluding that I was less safe to drive. As for the test result, he used a forensic chemist to explain that the test result was over the limit because of the added effect of an interferent chemical in my breath, created by metabolic elimination of the alcohol I did drink. That defense resulted in the jury rejecting the test result altogether. It didn’t take too very long for the jury to return a Not Guilty verdict.
I am a Department of Defense contractor with the Air Force, age 49. I simply had to avoid a DUI conviction. When the prosecutor would not offer a disposition on a non-DUI basis, Bob did not hesitate in getting the case ready for a trial. When a plea deal is not forthcoming, you need a lawyer who has the ability to win at trial. Bob was such an attorney and I am glad I trusted him with my problem.
