I hired Mr. Thames for a serious traffic charge (DUI). While handling this case another unfortunate event lead to another traffic charge (Driving without a valid license). Both charges could have effected my employment greatly. Mr. Thames helped me immensely on a professional and personal level. He made sure everything dealing with the court was handled although I was out of state and lead me through the court process so I would understand everything that was going on. In the end one charge was reduced drastically to a small fine, the other charge was dropped and my arrest records were restricted. Met with him once in court was a bit worried because I had never met with him or talked with him other than through his assistant but even when I didn't talk to him directly or know what was going on he was fighting in the background the deal he had worked out was very fair for the charges that were against me (Noone is as innocent as they say they are ) but the deal was fair and I am happy it's done and over with ... don't read a bad review and think he's not doing what he can I saw bad reviews for people that had a gun or drug charge and mad they didn't get away with it there are laws for a reason and you still have to follow them do the crime pay the price he is a very good attorney and I would highly recommend him to anyone and urge to anyone to go to carter and foster for their needs if they can't help you I'm sure they can point you in the correct direction.

Grace, is fantastic! My case was a bit complicated due to the amount of time left I needed to serve on probation but, I was in good standing with my supervision and took my punishment and embarrassed it to do better things to make up for my mistake. She believed in me and I believed in her and even though we had a few scares she always remained confident there were never false hopes giving to me and we both knew it was going to be challenging. I can honestly say she went the extra mile for me. Full communication there’s never been a time I could reach her. I wish I had Grace during the beginning of my case. She very knowledgeable. She has experience from being a ADA so she can analyze both sides her dad is also a judge so shes pretty much grew up around law stuff which is sometimes rare. I highly recommend her for any legal issues I am from Atlanta and a lot of people brag about Atlanta attorneys but trust when I say this she’s better! She handles hard counties which Metro Atlanta counties are not so hard because of so many cases it’s easier to manage so you want someone who’s dealt with difficult counties and situations. She’s your GO too! I’ve interviewed and know many attorneys from Atlanta to South Georgia and I wouldn’t go anywhere else but to her. When I was charged with DUI, I hired Bob to defend me. He avoided the pretrial suspension for failing the breath test, and ultimately tried the case to a jury, which found me not guilty of the charge. At the trial, Bob expertly pointed out all the flaws committed by the arresting officer in administering the field sobriety tests. After his cross examination of that officer, there was no basis for concluding that I was less safe to drive. As for the test result, he used a forensic chemist to explain that the test result was over the limit because of the added effect of an interferent chemical in my breath, created by metabolic elimination of the alcohol I did drink. That defense resulted in the jury rejecting the test result altogether. It didn’t take too very long for the jury to return a Not Guilty verdict.
I am a Department of Defense contractor with the Air Force, age 49. I simply had to avoid a DUI conviction. When the prosecutor would not offer a disposition on a non-DUI basis, Bob did not hesitate in getting the case ready for a trial. When a plea deal is not forthcoming, you need a lawyer who has the ability to win at trial. Bob was such an attorney and I am glad I trusted him with my problem.

I recently contacted this law firm to present my case and to find out whether or not Attorney McCain handled cases as mine - when I reached their office, i spoke with a gentleman by the name of Shawn Carter. When i tell you that i was highly impressed and beyond satisfied with my phone interaction - there are not enough words in our English vocabulary to describe truly how impressed I was with my phone interaction with Mr. Carter. Mr. Carter exemplified superb listening skills, compassion, empathy and his follow-up and follow through was simply impeccable. You all wrong I had Jeffrey Y and they did their job I had internal injuries and a closed head injury and a spine injury and broken bones that I had to have surgery to fix and at least they are not tommy Dunaway and Teresa Dunaway and Howard that took $50,000 dollars from me for attorneys fees for my wreak in Merritt truckings dump trunk in 2001 on Oct 8 when they closed my case in November 2004 to say they least and with all that my family was destroyed on old Laurens road in greenwood SC where Teresa dunaway Howard residence is located in greenwood county make sure of who your attorneys are every one is not your friend when it comes to lawyers

I hired Mr Bushway to represent me for some major felony charges that threatened to take me from my family for quite a long time. I was still incarcerated when I retained Mr. Bushway, and had been denied bond due to being from Florida. Mr bushway worked with my family’s budget, and allowed us to make payments on the total balance. Within a week of retaining Mr bushway, he not only got me a bond hearing, but got my bond approved, and set at a reasonable price. I was able to get out and get back to work. Shortly after, I was arrested in Florida on some unrelated charges, and I had to serve 2 years in Florida prisons. When I was arrested, I had not finished paying Mr bushway, and he had every single right to drop my case, due to my new arrest and my failure to complete payments. Not only did he inform the courts of my situation, and stop them from putting out warrants, he waited until my release and my first court date after being released from Florida DOC, Mr bushway was able to get the worst of my charges dismissed, and time served on the rest. Mr Bushway was able to get my case resolved in a way I never would have imagined, and he did all of this without even knowing for sure when I would finish the last payment. This goes to show you his true character and his immense compassion for his fellow humans. He cared more about getting me the best possible outcome, than he did getting the rest of his money. And yes, I did pay him immediately after court, because that is how he makes a living, and he deserves so much more than I can even begin to offer.
Mr Bushway did his absolute best for me, and he fought for my freedom. He is absolutely the best choice for a defense lawyer, and also an amazing human being. Thank you Mr Bushway, and god bless you always!

The firm failed to provide the guidance and support I expected, and their apparent lack of interest in my concerns was both frustrating and disheartening.
Moreover, the legal advice and representation I received were subpar. Critical deadlines were missed, and important details were overlooked, which adversely affected the outcome of my case. Despite their high fees, the quality of service was significantly below expectations. This experience not only cost me financially but also caused considerable emotional distress. I would strongly advise against using Sell & Melton for any legal needs, as their lack of professionalism and diligence was evident throughout my dealings with them.
