I was so impressed with my lawyer that I wanted share it with others. I had not been drinking, but the wheels began to turn and next I knew I was charged. I had no idea what to do. "Get a lawyer "my friends said. Atty Scott Gardner was recommended to me, he was the second lawyer I contacted. I was scared to death. I mean horrifyingly frightened. I would highly recommend Scott D .Gardner . After calling a half dozen lawyers and reading reviews I gave his office a call. I was greeted by Sharon who was very nice and professional . After being transferred to Scott I knew he was guy whom I wanted to represent me . I could instantly tell he was a professional at what he does . He answered ever question and put me at ease . I have never had an attorney who puts people before the money, as John does. Of course, he needs to be paid and should be paid top dollar but John doesn’t fit into the mold of a streotypical money-hungry/ cut-throat/ self-centered attorney. He’s wise and honest and will tell you the truth— not just what you want to hear— and, most of call, he actually cares and will take the time to listen and offer the best advice.

I was referred to Tim by my divorce attorney to represent me on a separate legal matter. He reviewed the case and developed a strategy that resulted in two felony charges being dropped and a third reduced to a misdemeanor, through a differed disposition. He and his team were approachable, efficient, knowledgeable, and on top of the case all the way through. Even with priors on my record, his efforts allowed for to best possible outcome in the case. My situation was on that I would never wish on my worst enemy. I was falsely accused, and the law required a sentence which would have consumed most of my adult life. Jill was recommended to me by another Lawyer who is amazing herself, which let me know that Jill is the BEST of the best. Throughout the process Jill exhibited a superior knowledge of the system, a familiarity of the city and process which only comes on the other side of years of experience, and a professionalism that is unmatched. I was justifiably afraid, at times wanting to play "backseat lawyer" due to the black hole which is Google. Jill maneuvered me through it all, the emotional ups and downs, and achieved an outcome that is nothing short of amazing. While "justice" in my case is an approximation, I'm free of this burden, able to live my life and pursue a future. While I want to put this whole tribulation behind me, and hope to never have to use her services again, I have no desire to lose contact with Jill as a person. We had a situation where the Mother withheld contact from the Father. Amber helped in giving voice to our concerns with the Mother's criminal record, bizarre augmentative behavior and association with recent violent felons. In the end, with Amber's help, the Father did obtain primary residence for the good of the child.

Vincent was the attorney I chose to represent me after consulting with many others, and am very happy I hired him. Others either quoted astronomical prices, or clearly weren't as knowledgeable and/or experienced as he is. Vincent, on the other hand, was exceptional from start to finish. It began the moment I first spoke with him, on our consultation call. He was understanding and empathetic, which helped ease my negative emotions and anxiety stemming from the arrest. Hiring Vincent helped me feel more comfortable, allowing me to transition back to daily life. That meant a lot to me. He then delivered on every step of the way, especially in the courtroom, when he ran circles around the DA (my personal opinion). His charismatic, poised demeanor, combined with his knowledge, was very effective (also my opinion). Judy is without question a fantastic Family lawyer. I've used her twice now over the last 6 years and not only is her knowledge second to none but there isn't a courtroom in the state that when she walks in, she knows everyone there. This comes into play more than you can imagine in the courts. She is quick to respond to any form of communication, her rates are very fair and her staff is incredibly helpful. I live in Tennessee and needed an attorney in Kittery, Maine in a criminal misdemeanor case that involved two different charges. My brother is a longstanding attorney and I have dealt with other attorneys in matters noncriminal so I have some experience with attorneys. I can unreservedly say that Matt is one of the, if not the most honest, responsive, knowledgeable, and accessible attorneys I've ever dealt with. He immediately recognized that the charges were frivolous and he approached the case from that standpoint, even though I was technically guilty of the charges. He left me feeling from our first conversation to the very favorable resolution he obtained for me that I was the only client he had. He did everything he said he would do when he said it would be done, keeping me informed every step of the way. Our communication was conducted entirely via the telephone and email. In the resolution of the case, he had one charge dismissed outright, and the other charge was diverted for six months at which time it will also be dismissed. As to whether I would recommend Matt to anyone else, I would say with no reservation whatsoever, yes. If anyone would like to contact me personally, they need only ask Matt for my phone number. I would be glad to speak with anyone needing an excellent attorney.

I contacted Attorney Levine for a consultation regarding a situation that I was rather embarrassed by the details of revealing due to the nature of what had transpired as I had not been free of guilt in this series of events.
However, just like a physician who has heard "everything", Attorney Levine cut to the chase and did not allow for any emotionally vulnerable pieces to affect the entirity of what I was realistically looking at and why his thoughts on the matter may be of assistance but would be far from easy to execute that which I was most concerned from coming to fruition.
That, in my mind, is a trait that is found only in the most experienced of defense attorneys as they make it quite clear that none of what they advise is for the purposes of "clearing you in the eyes of the court" but in guiding you down a path that his experience has shown will yield the most desirable outcome.
He does not mince words nor does he allow for you to ask questions which have no real consequence in your case but does so in a manner that is respectful and efficient, considering your time and providing you with the best counsel by not TELLING you what to do but why what Attorney Levine has told you what his recommendation would be in your situation.
Hire Attorney Levine only if you want the results his experience has proven tried and true.

Attorney Levine provided me and my son with a free consultation regarding my son’s “driving to endanger” case. Between a 10-minute phone conversation and an hour-long meeting in his office, he gave us immensely helpful and detailed information and recommendations to aid my son’s defense. The case is quite serious, as my son is only 16 but is being charged as an adult. The case is also unusual, in that my son’s driving behavior was the result of some very unusual circumstances. I am a Connecticut Lawyer who was in need of local counsel to help with a substantial legal matter in York, Maine. I picked Wendy's name out of a list of local lawyers based upon the firm web page and personal interviews I conducted. I called her—along with three other firms--and conducted a telephone interview. I found her to be experienced, knowledgeable and in possession of a clear understanding of Maine values and mores. I decided to select her firm to be local counsel.
When I visited the area it became apparent that she was well known, highly respected and that she knew her way around the courthouses. I felt very comfortable being with her and being with her gave me easy access to the local legal community. Her legal assessments were clear, concise and very understandable. He was reliable, responsive and genuinely cared about my case. I explained to him that my case was going to be a please because i committed my crimes. Attorney Mason was appointed to represent my nephew in a domestic violence matter. When you have to rely on a court appointed attorney, as in this case, you are always uncertain as to the quality and care you can expect. At this time we are in need of an attorney and we will definitely hire Mr. Mason and not take a chance on court appointment.
With Mr. Mason we were more than pleased...quite surprised, in fact, concerning the time provided to this case. I believe it would be accurate to say that at least 90% of the time we were able to reach Mr. Mason with one phone call (oftentimes he answered personally!) which is rare indeed!
We were always kept informed of the status of the case and Mr. Mason was always up to date and prompt, in spite of the fact that Rockland is almost 2 hours from Portland.

It was brought to my attention by my employer
I had a warrant from a case that I was unaware I had that was nearly 20 years old.
I was shocked to say the least. ( I wont get into details but let just say, the court should have never issued a warrant in the first place) I did some research and began to look for representation in the state of Maine.
i live roughly 2500 miles away now. I called 3 different attorneys trying to get an idea of the process ahead, and the money that would be necessary.
All the attorneys quoted between 300hr - 600hr and wanted minimum $2000.00 just to start making phone calls. I was told (generally)if they can get a quick dismissal, I would get my money back or a portion of it depending on hours of work.
I DO absolutely believe in paying for services even if they are expensive, as long as it's fair a trade.
Before the these attorneys even knew what the case looked like, the feedback sounded like I needed to get ready for the possibility that it would be a long and expensive process. Similar conversations with the other 2 more attorneys will take place.
I spoke to my wife and we both agreed that I would need to keep looking and Praying for the right person. After looking at many other attorneys I found Mr Mcintosh's Profile.
I found it interesting that he was so well traveled and worked for the DOD.
My wife has worked for the government for years and has always had a bottom line {what's the solution here} attitude about problems. Also Traveling that much gives you a wider perspective of the world and the people in it.(Empathy). So I hoped

I get a phone call. next morning roughly at 7am. phone call was just under 8 minutes . 7 of which were probably me explaining the events that ensued on that night "it" happened.

I was relieved . He's said. What's your name and date of birth?
Let me make a couple of phone calls. What's your email?
Email me the court case number. Bye.
Almost 2 hours later I receive an email with an attachment .
CASE DISMISSED!!!
WOW. I Immediately emailed him back and thanked him and requested an invoice because I hadn't received one yet.
His response : It just took a couple of phone calls. You'll be getting no invoice from me.
I'm writing this review not because he didn't charge me .
I'm writing this review because he got my case dismissed in 2hours and refused to be paid for it.
So to whom ever reads this....

Jeremiah worked hard on my criminal case and worked closely with our local district attorney to get me the best outcome possible!! He worked FOR ME as if I was paying him on my own, and I've NEVER had a court appointed lawyer do that for me before!! Got my charge filed for 2 years and at the end it will be dropped almost all together entirely, besides a small fine..
