My situation was on that I would never wish on my worst enemy. I was falsely accused, and the law required a sentence which would have consumed most of my adult life. Jill was recommended to me by another Lawyer who is amazing herself, which let me know that Jill is the BEST of the best. Throughout the process Jill exhibited a superior knowledge of the system, a familiarity of the city and process which only comes on the other side of years of experience, and a professionalism that is unmatched. I was justifiably afraid, at times wanting to play "backseat lawyer" due to the black hole which is Google. Jill maneuvered me through it all, the emotional ups and downs, and achieved an outcome that is nothing short of amazing. While "justice" in my case is an approximation, I'm free of this burden, able to live my life and pursue a future. While I want to put this whole tribulation behind me, and hope to never have to use her services again, I have no desire to lose contact with Jill as a person. Vincent was the attorney I chose to represent me after consulting with many others, and am very happy I hired him. Others either quoted astronomical prices, or clearly weren't as knowledgeable and/or experienced as he is. Vincent, on the other hand, was exceptional from start to finish. I live in Tennessee and needed an attorney in Kittery, Maine in a criminal misdemeanor case that involved two different charges. My brother is a longstanding attorney and I have dealt with other attorneys in matters noncriminal so I have some experience with attorneys. I can unreservedly say that Matt is one of the, if not the most honest, responsive, knowledgeable, and accessible attorneys I've ever dealt with. He immediately recognized that the charges were frivolous and he approached the case from that standpoint, even though I was technically guilty of the charges. He left me feeling from our first conversation to the very favorable resolution he obtained for me that I was the only client he had. He did everything he said he would do when he said it would be done, keeping me informed every step of the way. Our communication was conducted entirely via the telephone and email. In the resolution of the case, he had one charge dismissed outright, and the other charge was diverted for six months at which time it will also be dismissed. As to whether I would recommend Matt to anyone else, I would say with no reservation whatsoever, yes. If anyone would like to contact me personally, they need only ask Matt for my phone number. I would be glad to speak with anyone needing an excellent attorney.

I am a Connecticut Lawyer who was in need of local counsel to help with a substantial legal matter in York, Maine. I picked Wendy's name out of a list of local lawyers based upon the firm web page and personal interviews I conducted. I called her—along with three other firms--and conducted a telephone interview. I found her to be experienced, knowledgeable and in possession of a clear understanding of Maine values and mores. I decided to select her firm to be local counsel.
When I visited the area it became apparent that she was well known, highly respected and that she knew her way around the courthouses. I felt very comfortable being with her and being with her gave me easy access to the local legal community. Her legal assessments were clear, concise and very understandable. Her advice was "spot on”. She knew the law. She showed herself to be a seasoned counselor as well as a solid citizen firmly ensconced in the Maine legal community. She may very well be a Judge one day.

Mr. Mason was appointed to represent me on a couple of charges which i accrued while on probation. His performance as my attorney left nothing to be asked. He was reliable, responsive and genuinely cared about my case. I explained to him that my case was going to be a please because i committed my crimes. Despite this he insisted he needed to look over the case to see if he could find a defense. He was court appointed so i know it wasn't a bigger pay check he was after. He is the most genuine person I've come across in legal defense and would recommend him to anybody.

Attorney Mason was appointed to represent my nephew in a domestic violence matter. When you have to rely on a court appointed attorney, as in this case, you are always uncertain as to the quality and care you can expect. At this time we are in need of an attorney and we will definitely hire Mr. Mason and not take a chance on court appointment.
With Mr. Mason we were more than pleased...quite surprised, in fact, concerning the time provided to this case. I believe it would be accurate to say that at least 90% of the time we were able to reach Mr. Mason with one phone call (oftentimes he answered personally!) which is rare indeed!
We were always kept informed of the status of the case and Mr. Mason was always up to date and prompt, in spite of the fact that Rockland is almost 2 hours from Portland.
We recommend James Michael Mason without reservation.

It was brought to my attention by my employer
I had a warrant from a case that I was unaware I had that was nearly 20 years old.
I was shocked to say the least. ( I wont get into details but let just say, the court should have never issued a warrant in the first place) I did some research and began to look for representation in the state of Maine.
i live roughly 2500 miles away now. I called 3 different attorneys trying to get an idea of the process ahead, and the money that would be necessary.
All the attorneys quoted between 300hr - 600hr and wanted minimum $2000.00 just to start making phone calls. I was told (generally)if they can get a quick dismissal, I would get my money back or a portion of it depending on hours of work.
I DO absolutely believe in paying for services even if they are expensive, as long as it's fair a trade.
Before the these attorneys even knew what the case looked like, the feedback sounded like I needed to get ready for the possibility that it would be a long and expensive process. Similar conversations with the other 2 more attorneys will take place.
I spoke to my wife and we both agreed that I would need to keep looking and Praying for the right person. After looking at many other attorneys I found Mr Mcintosh's Profile.
I found it interesting that he was so well traveled and worked for the DOD.
My wife has worked for the government for years and has always had a bottom line {what's the solution here} attitude about problems. Also Traveling that much gives you a wider perspective of the world and the people in it.(Empathy). So I hoped
So I left him a short message.
" I have a case and am in need of representation" (message Sent)
I get a phone call. next morning roughly at 7am. phone call was just under 8 minutes . 7 of which were probably me explaining the events that ensued on that night "it" happened.
Most would worry he only responded with about 4 sentences.
I was relieved . He's said. What's your name and date of birth?
Let me make a couple of phone calls. What's your email?
Email me the court case number. Bye.
Almost 2 hours later I receive an email with an attachment .
CASE DISMISSED!!!
WOW. I Immediately emailed him back and thanked him and requested an invoice because I hadn't received one yet.
His response : It just took a couple of phone calls. You'll be getting no invoice from me.
I'm writing this review not because he didn't charge me .
I'm writing this review because he got my case dismissed in 2hours and refused to be paid for it.
So to whom ever reads this....
If your in need representation ,
Mr Mcintosh seems like a straight shooter, honorable, and of course ...... Effective.

Jeremiah worked hard on my criminal case and worked closely with our local district attorney to get me the best outcome possible!! He worked FOR ME as if I was paying him on my own, and I've NEVER had a court appointed lawyer do that for me before!! Got my charge filed for 2 years and at the end it will be dropped almost all together entirely, besides a small fine.. I was facing some serious jail time, and he worked closely with me to show the truth behind what happened that night, and that I NEEDED HELP, NOT JAIL.. Was going through some severe mental issues at the time and he recognized that and don't judge me.. He helped me point that in court and show that I was unstable and needed more help than jail could offer me!! I was lucky to have him as my attorney!! He worked for me, without judgment and made me feel comfortable at all times!! Not very often you find a lawyer as dedicated as Jeremiah!! I have a couple of collection accounts that I want to get removed…. I was going through a divorce and lost track of certain bills/paperwork. Also I have completed a student loan that went into default. I have been making on time payment with the new provider but the old loans still remain as closed/transferred with the negative payments history on them. Shouldn’t they be deleted Since the same loans are now with a new loan provider? It is essentially duplicated reporting them right? I am planning on getting married in a couple years and want to buy a house with my current boyfriend and with this stuff on my report I fear I won’t be able to do this.
