When I say this was an amazing experience with Mr. Gold. I was in an accident were I was stuck by vehicle while crossing the street vat a crosswalk downtown. I found Mr. Young online, he was the first lawyer to return my call. I explained my legal issue, he asked me questions pertaining to my situation and the rest was history. Mr. Young was exceptional to say the least. He assisted me with traffic cases in Germantown and Memphis. I'm pleased to say that the outcome in each case was in my favor. I need someone to help me understand why I had an outstanding debt... My experience with this Hospital was very poor, and they could not explain why I had an outstanding balance. They just wanted me to pay them without an explanation. William finally got them to investigate and explain the issue, and I appreciate that. November 2020 I had a slip and fall, I spoke to a family member, believing that this could have been preventable, he referred me to The Wharton Law Firm, I have never been in this situation before so I contacted the firm. All this happened during the early stages of the Covid-19 pandemic, I received a phone call advising that the attorney wanted to conduct a zoom consultation, during the consultation I advise him of what had taken place on that day, I was then advised that the firm would except my case, I was grateful. Not knowing what to expect, I went to all my doctor visits, obtain any evidence that I could, Andrew kept me up dated on every aspect of the case, if he emailed and stated they needed anything such as medical records, medical bills ect. I was able to obtain them. anytime they call, emailed the first thing they ask was how was I feeling. I woud receive some emails asking certain questions about that day, to clear up a few unanswered questions. As time went on I was still continuing treatment, I would advise them of every appointment I had, what day, who I was seeing, afterwards I would email Andrew advise him of my visit, what will happen next, I just kept him up to date on everything that was going on. Once we got to the near end I was advised of the starting offer, he advise me on each and every one through the end, he consulted with me about what to expect and how this negotiaton would take place, after mutipile offers and at that time which I agreed to settle. I have talked about this firm to my family and would highly recommend The wharton Law Firm, because I was completely satisfied. I'd highly recommend David Willis! I was facing a dui, refusal to submit, and speeding ticket. After a couple of continuances he was able to get the dui and refusal thrown out due to his knowledge of the field sobriety test and what the officers did wrong in administering it. Results were a cheap speeding ticket and court costs. I'd definitely hire again if ever needed.

I hired Dave when I was arrested on a second DUI with an accident involved. I refused the breathalyzer and the officer had me do a field sobriety test. The prosecutor would not give up on reducing the sentence to a reckless driving, so after reviewing the video a couple of times he advised me we have a decent chance at beating it in a jury trial. He walked me through all the things that would go on during the trial. I sat on a jury once before and know that it can go either way so I was nervous at this point. I knew we had a good case and a good possibility of a not guilty verdict. Once the case was moved up to a new court room Dave kept on fighting I was almost positive I was going to have to take it to trial. I went to court one day and Dave came out and told me they were ready to make a deal I couldn't believe it, drop the DUI and take a reckless driving with a year probation and 5 days in jail. I was so excited he got them to drop the DUI, but Dave said that's not good enough so he worked some magic and got them to reduce the year of probation to only six months. He is very thorough, he will tell you the worst case scenario and lets you know what your chances are of getting the charges reduced or maybe beating it in a jury trial. I didn't take my chances with the jury and took the deal, Dave worked his ass off to get me that deal and I believe he would have did the same if It would have went to trial. It was the best deal I was going to get and I just wanted it to be over. I have been charged with two DUI's and have had them both reduced to reckless driving. I will tell you he is very strict, do what he tells you to do so that he can do his job to keep you out of jail. I am so glad I hired Dave, I think that if not for him I would have taken the DUI in general sessions court, but he encouraged me to keep on going. He knows the system but I hope I never have to hire him again.

***When working/talking with attorney John McNeil there was never any issue with feeling judged or discouraged. There was always timely communication, meetings, new information, and follow up’s post court dates. He responded to my questions and presented all information, leaving me without questions or concerns related to his knowledge and attention to each case.
I would highly recommend this office and their services.
Longer version:
Hiring a lawyer for someone when you’ve never been in any trouble yourself is daunting to say the least. Will the attorney judge the situation, client, myself? Will they take advantage of my ignorance and inexperience? How will I know if they are actually good or just like a ‘car salesman’?
The client had a very complex case with two current cases in Shelby county, a hold in MS, and then later complicated by a new hold and transfer for federal charges.
This wouldn’t be a 100% honest review if I didn’t admit it took a couple days to originally hear back from the office (I recommend using their online inquiry instead of calling, it seems the electronic paper trail works best); but in those couple of days calling around to many other attorneys some referred me back to this office while others seemed to be judgmental and discouraging (maybe trying to make me feel desperate for their services).

I was blindsided being served by my longtime landlord, who called me friend. He had often bragged about his great joy in evicting tenants, but we always paid on time and were his "favorites". After a 4 year relationship he served me and my partner. The review I'm giving is NOT paid advertising. I am freely giving this review based on our experience. On 7/22/2021 my son was arrested and charged with a felony. My heart broke in a million pieces. I knew my child didn't commit the crime. But I also knew that regardless my son would still have to go through the process. After a few text messages, I knew that Mr. Brandon Hall would do his best to help my son. I explained the situation to the best of my knowledge. I told Mr. Brandon Hall that sometime my son makes bad decision. But I knew that this decision was different from any other bad decisions he had made in the past. Drew was very helpful in processing my case. I had been charged with a DUI, substance, and reckless driving. He was very informative on the possible outcomes and predictions of where the case would go. After receiving the results Drew quickly knew the best method for a beneficial result. He got them initially to drop all charges except for reckless driving. He recommended we not plead on that charge. Within an hour of the initial deal Drew returned with a full dismissal. All charges were dropped and there will be no history of this on my record. I highly recommend his services.

Attorney Plunk came into what should have been a slam dunk case dismissal and ran into a different DA that seemed to be unwilling to go by what had been stated by previous DA. Not only did Mr. Plunk keep me informed but he also tracked down the original DA and got all my charges dropped. Whenever I catch a charge, I call Larry sims, he ain't gon bust ya head , he gone keep it a 100, keep u informed but I recently caught a charge and my folks hired a so called high profile lawyer(bs), I don't know nothing bout my case, made me mad at, but if they would have called sims like I told them to, I'll probably b thru with my case by now, but sims is the truth, reasonable and real, what more can u ask fa out of a lawyer, call him!!!!!!

After having a very disappointing experience with the first attorney we hired to defend my husband in a DUI charge, we did our research and Mr. Curry was very highly recommended. Now I know why. My husband's case was unique in that he is a combat war veteran who has been diagnosed and treated for PTSD related to trauma sustained as a bomb hunter in the war. After undergoing 3 months of intensive treatment in the VA CDT and PTSD inpatient programs, my husband needed someone who would go to bat for him and vigorously defend him in a DUI charge he received when suffering from a severe PTSD flashback/ blackout & blood pressure episode. Jim Curry went above and beyond what we ever expected or asked of him and received a very favorable outcome for my husband that will allow him to continue his recovery and be a father to our 3 young boys. I think most of the time in the legal world (and I know- I am a paralegal) clients are overcharged and underrepresented. NOT SO AT ALL in this case. I feel that Mr. Curry was owed much more than our initial retainer fee because he worked so hard in his zealous representation of my husband, but he refused to take another dime from us. Jim Curry gave my husband his life back and you can't put a price on that. Our family will be forever grateful to him.

I was charged with a DUI last year. I was referred to James Greene by a friend. I wasn't sure about attorneys because I never once had to have one. I called James and he answered on the third ring. This was one of the best decisions I made throughout my case. Even though I decided to plead guilty to my charge, James was there every step of the way. He aided me through the entire process.
