Dan's law firm helped me with an embarrassing charge for which the prosecuting attorney wanted ten years in prison and at least ten more years of registration, a felony B. At the initial consultation Dan very professionally and courteously outlined a plan how to defend the case. He and his partner Joe Flees fought a long fight to bring it down to an amended charge of a felony D (E on current statutes) with no registration and I got probation. Highly recommended law firm.

Pete worked on all my traffic cases that were all warrant lol. The fee was good and he worked with me on a payment plan. He was strick about that. He check all my stuff before he gave me a price. Warned me about possible court fees. Payin the court costs almost killed me tho!

Peter handled a case for me. I got sued by a company that buys credit card debts. I didn't think there was much I could do about it. I wasn't even going to go to court. Then I found Peter online. We had been trying to work through getting an adoption done for almost 10 years. Due to issues with the biological father it was one failed attempt after another. I had finally decided to try and take care of it on my own and contacted the Juvenile office in Springfield to get more info on what my steps would be. She referred me to Elise Baker. I was hesitant to call because I had called numerous lawyers in the past and everyone wanted a $300 to $500 fee just to talk to them about my case before even taking it on. No one wanted to give out any suggestions or even hear me out without money in their pocket 1st. A lot of lawyers didn't seem hopeful of our situation. I went ahead and gave her a call I went ahead and gave her a call as a last ditch effort. Not only did she get on the phone with me without a consultation fee but she walked me through everything I would need to do in order to take care of it myself. All of the information I needed, the steps I would need to take, and suggestions on how to get it done. I was blown away by how freely she was willing to help without any fees up front. I was incredibly grateful and asked if she would just go ahead and be our lawyer. She accepted. Not only was her price about half of the price of all the other lawyers I had talked to but she was incredibly friendly and spoke layman terms and made the process as easy as this kind of process could be. We worked together for months building our case and getting all of the necessary information together and as of December 17, 2021 all 3 of our children have been adopted! 10 years in waiting and it's finally done! I would recommend Elise to anyone looking to to get an adoption done.

We hired Ronda after my daughter had been sexually harassed by a manager at her place of work. When she complained to us about the harassing manager, we advised her to go to the higher boss and make a complaint. The harassment did not stop. She went into her school counselor for advice. Upon hearing the issues, the school counselor contacted child protective services to report the abuse. We met with the school administration and were advised to make a formal statement with the police. Due to conversations from former employees who encountered family members of the now former manager, we were advised to obtain an ex-parte. Not thinking we needed an attorney, we appeared in court to have the ex-parte turned into a restraining order and found out the former manager hired a local attorney. Obviously we were caught "flatfooted" and quickly began reassessing our legal situation. We are members of Legal Shield and have been since 2004. We called the 1800 number and were told that we don't need an attorney for an ex-parte. Any subsequent phone calls made to Legal Shield were ignored by the assigned law firm. (Yup...we got one phone call, and only one phone call...) That's when I went to the internet to do some research on attorneys. I went to the AVVO website and found Ronda. Noting that she had extremely high marks on the website and remembering she was a local judge, I gave her a phone call. I wanted someone who had experience listening to both sides of cases. We met. She listened to our story and told us what to expect. We hired her because she knew the system, she knew how to measure our steps, and she explained in detail everything that could and would happen. She took the time to teach us and guide us through the legal process. But more importantly, Ronda believed in us. I'd like to say this was cut and dry, but it wasn't. This case took time to get the restraining order awarded. Ronda was there holding our hands the whole way through it. She never let us get discouraged. She always poured confidence into my daughter. We are exceedingly grateful to her skills as an attorney. If you are new to the area or just needing a lawyer. Do your research! Buyer beware! Not every lawyer is the same in quality and dedication. If you want someone with a lot of experience, who will tell you the HONEST truth about your situation, who is fair, who is informative, who cares about clients; Ronda is the lawyer you want to hire. John was super helpful in the following ways: 1. John's response time to my initial call was less than an hour. John and the Meehan Law Firm pride themselves on responding to clients in need in a timely, professional manner. 2. I had an automobile accident which was my fault. The policeman that gave me the citation told me I was looking at a fairly large fine, probable points on my license and possibly driving school classes. To make matters worse, I totaled my car and knew my insurance rates would skyrocket. I was surprised that my court date fell on a Saturday, but Mr. O'Conner was in court with me early on a Saturday morning. I ended up paying a lowered fine, no points off my license and my insurance rates didn't go up very much. Mr. O'Connor has worked for the DA's office, so knows the system and how it works, from the inside out. He is always professional but is also a very kind and caring person. I had an excellent experience with his law firm. He walked me through the entire process step-by-step of what was gonna happen in order to get my license reinstated after 12 years I’ve been suspended. He took care of everything I didn’t even have to go to court and stand in front of a judge And get that awkward oh my god what’s going to happen feeling. Even after my case was complete I was having trouble getting all my documentation together to give to the Department of revenue and he helped me get the documents that I needed and sent to the right places. Working with him was a pleasure and made this whole uncomfortable process absolutely a breeze. I would recommend him to anybody facing criminal or traffic charges. Right away when I talked to matt gartner about my particular work comp case he was very easy to talk to and did not give me that "salesman vibe" I would know as I am a salesman by profession. I hired Mr. Lloyd to represent me in a Class A Misdemeanor DWI case along with a petition against the Department of Revenue (I refused the breathalyzer). In the criminal DWI case, there were several accompanying charges. The petition against the state would be quite challenging to overcome as well. Although the odds were against me, Mr. Lloyd readily took on my pair of cases. At the onset, I faced potential jail time along with losing my license for at least a year. Formal procedures commenced over the next several months. Mr. Lloyd was excellent about keeping me informed of my court dates and progress of the cases. It was apparent to me that he cared about my cases, which helped ease my mind at a time where that was not easy to do. By the conclusion of all this, Mr. Lloyd had continuously fought for the outcome of my immediate future. I believe his persistence and zeal shaped the positive result of both my cases. I served no jail time nor did I lose my license. As the end result of my cases could not have been better, I would recommend Mr. Lloyd to anyone I know. Mr. Scroggie was a huge help to our college freshman who has never had even so much as a speeding ticket and was inappropriately accused of criminal charges. Mr. Scroggie helped explain to our college kiddo why we were in-fact not going to accept anything other than a complete dismissal of the charges as there were no laws broken, the authorities never talked to our college student the night in question, and our kiddo had done nothing wrong. The case was dismissed! He is a champion of college kids who can so easily be scared/swayed/coerced! I highly recommend him and thank him from the bottom of our heart!

I have been using Mike since I was 17 yrs old. Originally somehow my dad started using Mike and then so did I. He says he has been in business 35 yrs so I guess he was in his first year of business when he became my one and only attorney I have used for traffic tickets and just legal advice. I can't remember last time I saw him because all I ever do is call him and then mail a small fee with the ticket and fine and I am done. I have never had my license revoked or suspended because of him. I have probably averaged in my life a ticket a year for 35yrs. I have had, speeding tickets, red light, stop sign, c & i, dui, eluding the police and still have my license. Thank you Mike

I dealt with the firm to apply for a work authorization and a permanent residency. It was a pleasant experience for me; Mrs. Biesenthal was responsive in a timely manner for all my follow ups and inquiries during the whole process. She is well organized and offer good explanation for the further steps and time frame of the process either over the phone or by meeting in person. having a complicated immigration matter that was taking place in kansas city i truly didn't know where to turn. we're nc residents. somehow we stumbled on lindsay gray and meggie biesenthal and they have been handling our case together. a child of one of my employees had been picked up by ins and was being held. lindsay and meggie were able to get him released and on a bus to his mother. well, unbeknownst to me, there was a way to prove that sending him back to his homeland was going to be like throwing him to the wolves. turns out that he grew up in the absolute worst conditions and sending him back into them was going to threaten his life. lindsay and meggie got right on it, and in the middle of my case the immigration reform bill has been passed. yes, we're in the early stages of this, but it's truly looking very promising. it seems that my employee was hospitalized in virginia by he child's father in virginia a few years ago. upon hearing this it immediately tripped the alarm on meggie and lindsay. the mother would qualify for a U visa. so, this is where we sit currently...they're working on the u visa for my employee, and her son isn't due back in court until november 2016. HOPEFULLY, by then my employee will have a u visa which will give her son the fast track towards residency. i simply could not be more pleased with lisdsay and meggie. we just had a skype discussing the cases and my employee cannot say enough good things about the representation she's receiving. thank you so much. both of you!

No one ever thinks they will be in this situation of needing a lawyer because your son was selling drugs. Carter was not the original lawyer my son hired. That lawyer was dishonest and we felt like we were sinking in quicksand. We didn't know who we could trust or where to turn. Our son was in one of the county jails when he heard about Carter from another inmate. She made no promises but gave us confidence that she was on our side and explained every step of the way. For the first time in months we felt like we weren't sinking in that quicksand. We weren't asking for miracles but a fair defense for our son. She was by his side during the entire long process and updated us whenever anything changed. I don't know what would of happened to my son and us if our paths had not crossed with Carter. I was referred to Anjali by a good friend at a time when I was making a big change in my career. Unexpectedly I had legal issues involving my ability to obtain a job that had been in discussion for quite some time. I really needed assistance with my healthcare employment contract. Matthew Radefeld is a skilled tactician. I brought him a 2 felony count case that carried a maximum penalty of 8 years in DOC. The case had various options for resolution however Matt held out and worked the file. Matthew Radefeld is not only an amazing attorney but a kind and attentive person to his clients. He is keenly aware of the law and makes it his mission to be the most prepared person in the courtroom.
