John has been my lawyer for at least a year now assisting with my stressful divorce. He is an honest lawyer who won't act on a request simply because you ask; if he believes it’s not the right or fair course of action, he will not proceed. He fights for what’s best and just for his clients, especially when children are involved. Although I wasn't 100% satisfied with the outcome of my divorce and custody battle. As he mentioned in every litigation, you can’t get everything you want. I trust that John’s expertise and understanding of the judge led to a fair result. He doesn't just do what you want to charge you more or unnecessary; he adheres to the law and ensures that actions are fair. I recently hired John again for a motion that my ex and I couldn’t agree on. I chose him because I know he will act in the best interest of me and my children. John is not the type of lawyer who will simply charge you for actions without sufficient evidence or necessity. Unlike some lawyers who will do anything for a fee, John maintains a high standard of integrity and only pursues actions that are supported by adequate evidence and proof. I tried to get an email address because my verbal communication is not great when discussing technical and complicated matters. Tony answered, and while they don't practice law in Clark County (I keep finding them in my searches), he turned out to be a bit of a jerk at the end of the call.

A lot of Alex's clients have gone to other lawyers due to his lack of work. He told me to sign my divorce decree even though I was owed more. He just wanted to get it over with. I had a leftover retainer of $6k that he kept and drew out the process of finalizing my custody order. I had to keep calling and calling in order to get a response. Instead he lied about filing and due dates, threatened to withdraw from my court case, but did not. I had to hire another lawyer and go through the bar to get my retainer back. His exact words were "that's how lawyers make money". And that's exactly what he will do. Fill his own pockets before helping you out. Don't be fooled by the flat fee. If you ask for an itemized invoice he will charge $400 per hour. If I knew that I would've got monies worth instead of the mediocre deadlines.

Don’t waste your money with this attorney unless you want to lose your case this attorney makes no effort to win your case the only thing he did for me was literally to convince me to pay the highest amount of alimony and follow all the other parties directions not only that but he changed me more than what he had said at the beginning of the case months after the divorce was over he was still changing me for no reason worst attorney ever don’t waste your money with them

I called a well known attorney after seeing his commercials for years back in 2011. I knew I had a case I just needed someone to listen to me and hear my story. That attorney was only interested in taking cases that were a guaranteed win, and as many as possible. He referred me to Phil. I had never heard of Phil or his firm so I was skeptical but had no other option. I left Phil a message and he responded via text to set up a time to talk. Finally someone was willing to hear my story. I was expecting a girl from his office to call in the way that the previous firm had done. Phil called me directly and did not rush me at all. I was a little put off because his personality was different than the charismatic attorneys I had seen on tv, but no one else had given me more than 5 minutes and here he was asking questions and showing empathy and interest for an hour. He believed me. Also he was my only option. He took my case. What I saw over the year that Phil represented me was a man who was not afraid of or intimidated by anyone. He believed me. He fought for me. It didn’t matter who opposing counsel was or how big the case was going to get. He fought for me and we won. I was awarded a large settlement after three other attorneys told me I had no case. Phil isn’t going to win best personality or be on a commercial or the cover of those magazines that attorneys pay to be featured in…but I have never seen someone so passionate, determined and unafraid. I hope I have no need, but if I do need an attorney again, I wouldn’t consider anyone BUT Phil.

Philip Trenchak and his Office Staff have helped me immensely with my Separation Agreement from my previous employer. I was new to the area and had no one to speak to when middle management decided to make personnel changes while the CEO was on sabbatical. Basically, my workload was increased and the respect given to me and my support staff decreased. I tried to defend myself by speaking to Corporate directly and give my A/P staff a raise but I was repeatedly ignored. They would not speak to me directly and told me to hire a lawyer. I used AVVO to find Philip's Stellar Law Office. They were very attentive, gave me specific options with fees on how to move forward, and were very patient with me and diligent with my case. Since my employer would not speak to me, Philip and Cristina were in constant communications with them and kept me updated with any new developments. After 3 months, Philip's office secured my Severance Payment and I can now move on to working for a more ethical not-for-profit company. We went into Mr Compans office like two little kittens with our tails between our legs, swollen watery eyes from crying for weeks but let me assure you that when we walk out of there we both for the first time in weeks had smiles on our faces. I was referred to this firm. The person who referred me worked with Joe Riccio for their case. Different types of case but nonetheless, she used this law firm. I worked with Kristina Kirigin and unfortunately had a terrible experience. There was a lack of communication from the beginning. I was never spoken to or prepped before any hearing. The bill just kept racking up. The paralegal asked for the same documents over and over again. When I told Kristina my expectations, she stated that her only job was to get me the guardianship. She did that and that's it. There was no guidance at all. I wasn't even aware when I officially got the guardianship since that was not communicated. They also did not notify me when another partner at the firm was going to represent me. All I have to say is I am happy I chose to stop working with this law firm and self-represent. Unfortunately, I made this decision after losing over $6k of legal fees. This is likely from communicating the same thing over and over again. Also, going to court over and over again due to their lack of communication and preparedness. Ex. I would submit something to them and they would not file it. Or, they would ask me to complete something the day or the Friday before the hearing. Only towards the end was the communication a little better. By that time, I was already out $5k. ALSO, they assumed I had access to a shared drive which was NEVER given to me in the 10 months they represented me. So, the new lawyer who took over my case assumed I had access to this shared drive. More wasted time as I was in town and unable to complete what I needed to do that required me to be in person.

I am more than grateful and pleased with the results I received with Kristina Kirigin!! I highly highly recommend this attorney after carefully reviewing several attorneys in nevada! My choice was left between her and Joe riccio before learning that they actually worked together. I was in a highly contested custody battle in between 2 different states with another very aggressive attorney representing my ex. I found Kristina Kirigin after having to fire my last attorney and she was able to turn my entire case around that was originally going in my ex's favor due to his constant lies. We went to trial and prevailed with me getting primary physical custody, final say with legal custody, no travel and attorneys fees!! She made my ex tell the truth which broke his entire case. Patricia agreed to represent me in front of the State of Nevada Parole Board pro-bono. She asked that I trust her and she would do everything she could to get me a favorable out come. That she did. After 32 years hearing that I was granted a parole was awesome and I know the out come was because of how she represent the facts, got them to review what I had done to improve myself, the timing that I didn't agree with, but trusted her and it was the right decision. She took the time to explain the process to me so I understood everything that was going on. Worst lawyer I have ever interacted. The only time she was interactive was when I called her to retain her and she processed my credit card. Despite several requests for a meeting over many months she did not agree to meet until a few days prior to the trial at which time she sent an email to quit. My witnesses who were to be interviewed by her she promised for months were never contacted. I found another lawyer who was interactive and got a great result. I have no idea how others write about her great communication and question if the posts are in fact real. If you want to take a huge risk on a lawyer who from my experience you can never contact and won't follow up on what she says and then quit after doing no work and not return your money then hire her. If i could give zero stars I would.

I lost my year long trial for child support because he didn’t file the discovery paperwork in time. It cost me $4500 and a year of harassment from my son’s father to gain $79 extra a month in child support. I’m a teacher and lost my position at the school because of all the financial and emotional stress during the year + long trial.

We are from the UK and have been coming to Las Vegas for 20 years. We have always been treated with the utmost respect. Following an incident in a casino, we felt very badly discriminated against which left us with no option but to obtain legal advice. Mr. O'Brien is a good lawyer. He made me feel like he was on my side during my case last year. Although I sent him a boatload of information to assist in my defense, he humbly accepted it and used the information I gave. He explained to me what could happen in my case including all options in a very clear and easy to understand way.
