Horrible communication, and awful representation. Almost 3 years and still not settled. Defendant had 20 days by law to pay settlement and 3 months later they did nothing to recover my funds, unless I give them more money. Thought I was hiring a good lawyer, but apparently not.

What was I to expect, he went to undergrad at STDU aka Arizona.

Impossible to get a hold of anyone. My husband and I have left numerous voicemails and asked multiple times in email to call, but they won’t. They supposedly sent multiple letters, checks, and a 1099, none of which we received.
They are saying my husband’s settlement check was cashed and won’t get back to us when we tell them we never got it.
We don’t have the money and have already filed tax returns that don’t include a 1099 we never received.
Do not recommend.

If he is your court appointed child’s advocate in child welfare, you're in trouble. He's been on our case for 3 yrs unfortunately and has never laid eyes on our 7 yr old. No checkin, conversation, nothing. He sat in the last hearing scrolling videos. Another lawyer looked him with disgust. Kids in foster care need advocacy and he seems to not have an ounce of care. Im not sure how the judged allowed him to say and do nothing for 3 years without asking if he's even seen the child. The system itself sucks, but with court appointed attorney's like Mr. D'adamo, the kids suffer more. If I can give less than 1 star, I would.

This lawyer Is unreliable and that's just one of the things he is . John capaldi blocked me because I got him assigned by the court and been trying to contact him for months now to meet up . John does not even text me back or pick up the phone . Last time he picked up the phone was the day of court meanwhile I was contacting him endlessly for him to hear me out . I didn't know what to bring to court so that's why I was trying to contact him for him to say on the day of court he don't believe me that the hospital put the drugs in me ( I now got the proper documentation that proves they did ) and he still will not meet up to see what he's representing and he likes to call you a liar about the things that happened to you but he also doesn't want to help you in anyways or give advice on how to obtain anything or what to do in regards to your case . He wants to blame me for him not answering me for months but anyone that has a losey lawyer that doesn't do anything or even text back would be very upset to . I told him about unsupervised and how I heard if I get this home assessment that I could have unsupervised he told me to get the home assessment call him back when it passed and he would petioned for unsupervised as soon as I did that the next week and got a hold of him he changed everything he said and said there was nothing we could do til next court my court date was suppose to be in March but it got changed with no notice to April . This lawyer still hasn't had the courtesy to tell me it has been changed yet . He argues about the things your doing correctly and doesn't want to give you credit for it instead he will ruin your case because he walks in knowing nothing . He's horrible . Hell use the excuse he's super busy but I've sent texts weekly multiple times over a month and he doesn't want to reply with anything rather he's getting mad at me and blocks me because I'm coming to him for some advice and the proof the hospital did that . He's not good at what he does and that's the honest truth cause he's been doing it over twenty years and still in the public defender association . I'm going to fire him next time in court because he won't dismiss his self from this case and I even told him if your to busy and can't handle my case withdrawal but he won't but he also won't work with me at all . I've tried . This is the worst situation ever I tried to tell him about the corrupt case worker he doubted me called me a liar then in February she got fired . I'm beginning to think he's like a body double he's just there to make it look good but he's actually not good at all and let the caseworker that got fired play me like something I was not . I been trying to work with him but he makes it hard and he makes it harder to obtain my child back with his representation it would probably work better if I didn't have him and just myself . I need another lawyer this one's a joke .

My brother is an incarcerated individual whom is a client of this firm under employed attorney, Richard Coble. My brother was sentenced on March 27, 2024.
Since this time, Mr. Coble has not once communicated with my brother in any form, even despite my own personal attempts to facilitate Mr. Coble’s ability to schedule a call with my brother given the circumstances. I’ve emailed Mr. Coble various times with no reply over the last months.
Recently, the post-judgment motion regarding my brother’s case was denied, filed interoffice with the court on 08/02/2024, and served to Mr. Coble on 08/05/2024. No notice of this decision/denial was communicated to my brother nor any family members. The right to appeal has a deadline of 30 days from the time of the filing of denial by the court. With that said, the negligence of Mr. Coble has effectively infringed upon the rights of my brother, and our family, to take action in a timely manner. Respectfully, there is no adequate justification for this egregious act of legal malpractice.
Please note, the only way I was ever made aware of the facts regarding this matter is via the court docket system, in which I sought this information myself. It is extremely disheartening and frustrating to find that a person, such as myself, who isn’t of legal background, was able to navigate the status of this case on behalf of my brother - and yet the attorney representing him failed his duty to ensure that those involved and impacted were informed in a timely manner - timeliness being a crucial element for anyone who opts to appeal a post-judgement decision.
It is truly complex and beyond stressful to find that we are not dealing with anything but a “glass half full” of time remaining before the appeal deadline. I cannot possibly express the astounding level of indecency and incompetence that I am currently experiencing as a result of Mr. Coble’s absence and inactions. I’m truly challenged by the way Mr. Coble has managed my brother’s matter and completely abandoned and failed to provide any support or assistance whatsoever following his sentencing in March 2024.
Avoid the hefty price tag for service delivery comparable to spam sale calls with products that serve no purpose.

I hired Mr. Coble after my sentencing to put in an appeal and everything he claims, he would do sounded great until the time came and the motion was put in a week before I had to go in. As I tried contacting him it was like trying to a catch a thief in the night. Don’t even bother wasting your money because if you have to call down a lawyer 15 times to reach him it isn’t worth it.

Impossible to get a hold of anyone. My husband and I have left numerous voicemails and asked multiple times in email to call, but they won’t. They supposedly sent multiple letters, checks, and a 1099, none of which we received.
They are saying my husband’s settlement check was cashed and won’t get back to us when we tell them we never got it.
We don’t have the money and have already filed tax returns that don’t include a 1099 we never received.
Do not recommend.

Mr. Owens represented my father and my stepmother in a very complicated motor vehicle accident case and was very successful. He now represents my wife in a motor vehicle accident. Where other lawyers have explained that Limited Tort cases were next to impossible to win Mr. Owens gave us "a punchers chance" and better than that he won! Dean is a good lawyer and very personable and funny. I highly recommend!

I hired Dean Owens to handle a case for me. He did not fare well and I made a complaint to the Bar. The outcome, he received a leer of admonition just last month. The Disciplinary Review Board determined his conduct was improper. The complaint and decision was based his failure to communicate with a client and lack of diligence. Owens had me pay, twice, for an expert witness in this case but he hired and had me pay for a registered nurse and that nurse was not qualified to testify. Again, I paid twice for this testimony which was useless. Based on various inactions by Owens, my case was dismissed with prejudice on 8 February 2013 where the court memorialized its ruling in the order citing "plaintiff's failure to serve expert reports". I was not informed of this and on 2 and 5 April 2013, I emailed Owens asking about the need to retain a medical doctor as an expert and that I was looking forward to the trial. Never heard about the dismissal of the case, with prejudice that occurred on 8 February 2013. After many calls and emails in April, Owens emailed me telling me of the dismissal two months earlier thus any opportunity to appeal was lost. Not only was my opportunity to pursue a case that involved mishandling of my Mother in a care facility, I paid twice for testimony that was not the correct form of expert witness.
I would never recommend this lawyer to anyone.
