So, I battled a traffic case out of Malheur County. Had a very negative interaction with a resident deputy in Jordan Valley. My contact with the deputy resulted in being cited for traffic violations based on “contempt of cop” perceived by the Malheur County deputy. BUT, I knew the cat was wrong basedon his lack of radar training AND Malheur County Sheriff is lacking to ensure their radar equipment is calibrated and tuned. Hit Edgar up. Excellent communications, cost was reasonable for his representation. He helped navigate the county system AND went to work for me. His efforts resulted in my getting satisfaction over a rural po-dunk resident deputy who “short cuts” or flat out withholds exculpatory information. I can't say enough about Grant Cook, representing me in two different cases. In two separate courts. One case against a landlord. The other a family court matter. I found him to be thorough and an excellent communicator. Kept me in the loop with information as he received it. Attorney Travis Dickey. From our first phone conversation and throughout the yearlong court battle, Travis listened to what I had to say, addressed my concerns, and provided clear and accurate information. Travis quickly earned my trust and respect by providing me with straight, direct answers and counsel. At no time did he attempt to “dance” around the difficult answers. I knew where I stood with him, and with the courts, at all times.
Prior to our first court appearance, Travis explored what options I had and made sure I understood the pros and cons of each option. He worked to mitigate the circumstances surrounding my arrest, achieving a promising outcome. When the prosecuting attorneys rescinded their first offer, Travis continued to fight in my behalf. Initially Travis had no experience with the mental trauma and injuries I had sustained during my active duty military service. Acting on his own initiative, he took the time to learn more about the difficulties faced by disabled veterans and participated in the initial forming of a Veterans Court being established in Marion County.

This lady shouldn't be a lawyer. She couldn't have worked harder to get me slammed up State in prison for 45 months. Witch was the wrong sentence for the speeding ticket I had. I was totally appalled and the representation that I received. I should have gotten 30 days and gone on with my supervision.She worked her hardest to get me as far away from the probation office, because they know me and get me to the State court house where there wouldn't have been a chance of doing the probation recommendations because those judges only take the DA's recommendations. It was out of control..... she is completely unable to do her job to the best of the clients ability. I can't believe she was going to put me up for almost 4 years for doing 37 in a 30 mph zone.... she needs to go back to McDonald's or taco bell where ever she got her law degree. This clearly is not the field for her....

Kevin Lafky was successful in my lawsuit for my wrongful termination case, against a billion dollar company represented by a top Portland Corporate firm. Mr walls took on my case as a court appointed attorney. Being as it is, plenty of stereotypes float around about court appointed legal advice. With him, though, i found that he was very punctual. Wanted to make contact often and keep me informed as to new evidencial discoveries. In the end, after a long legal batte, i got what i considered a "victory" compared to my original charges. I couldnt have asked, or payed for, better representation and i will continue to reccomend Mr. Walls to anyone in need in his area. Sara worked very hard to find a deal that was beyond reasonable for my husband. She believed in him and looked past what his poor decision said about him. He was originally offered a substantial amount of time in prison. After hard work on her end and his he got a suspended sentence.
