Nelson helped my son with a sex case he didn't commit. It was the worst, unfounded accusation anyone could face. He ( My Son) was looking at 15- life for a crime we are sure he didn't do. The District Attorney's involved in the case acting unethicallly, and unfairly. Mr. Mcelmurry put his whole effort into the case and ultimately got our son on a plea bargain that was a victory in our eyes. No registration and timed served. although we are still angry at the DA's misconduct. It was something we and our Son could live with. We will now pick up the pieces of our lives after two years of fighting the case. I don't even want to give one star if I could just give zero. This firm is lying to us and trying to cheat our money. PLEASE DON'T GIVE THEM FREE MONEY!!! We had hired a lawyer, and he was very unprofessional everything he said sounded like he just read from a book. When I try to ask them any question they are very impatient to answer. Also lied to me that I could just pay them $1500 to get a new green card, but I had asked other lawyers about this case, and there was no way I could just pay for a new green card. During the case the lawyer also was very unprofessional, he kept telling the litigant to sign the paper to give up this case. The lawyer is not serious about the case after receiving the money. I asked them to give me the $1500 back, but they just kept telling me to wait. They already charge me for the lawyer fee and still want to make more money from me.

I had to learn patience while the case was being worked, but worth every bit of the wait. I have been told that the particular charges I was facing are never dropped at the Preliminary Examination and yet, Moksha who did a stellar job at questioning the alleged victim, victim’s mother and the police officer to bring out the truth and ultimately justice, when the Judge made his ruling to drop these false charges against me. "Wild accusations, sloppy detective work, overworked understaffed DA office's "charge first-investigate later" approach got me arrested. My life turned upside down. Lost reputation, job, visa, savings, and property due to unsubstantiated allegations. Luckily, I hired Top rated attorney Riccardo earlier on after doing free initial consultation. He explained everything very clearly. He worked diligently with the detective to prevent charges from being filed; however, the prosecutor's office didn't consider the information Riccardo was giving them. They went ahead and charged me. Based on the facts of my case, Riccardo said I should not have been charged in the first place and will get the charges dismissed ASAP. He delivered on his promise. The case was dismissed well before the preliminary hearing stage. Riccardo and his partner are working on getting the records sealed/motion for factual innocence. I strongly recommend him, he can and will get the best outcome based on the facts of your case. This dude responded to all my queries via email in minutes even on long weekends. I am extremely pleased with his work.I will add an update about record sealing/Factual Innocence in the next few months. If you are facing allegations or charges, don't wait call Riccardo and he will get you the best outcome possible.

Never again will I hire this firm. My case was a few years ago but it was with this same firm and with Mr. Valencia himself. On the phone he mentioned good things like getting the best results for me possible and possibly getting the charges dropped. All good things you want to hear as a person searching for an attorney but that's not how it went. This guy showed up late to every single one of my court dates by half and or more. He pretty much just showed up to do what I was supposed to do, which is stand before the judge and respond to his requests. I have a prior criminal record so I wasn't expecting him to make magic but at least show up to my court date on time which he did not. All matters were called first who had attorneys but sure enough mine waited until he got there. I feel I would've gotten the same results without him for sure as he did very little communicating with the DA or anyone on the other side of the podium. To top it off on my last court date after not seeing him for over half an hour I called his firm and they informed me he was in redwood city helping someone else. Seriously not cool at all or professional. So they sent another attorney from his office but not until an hour and a half from when the court started. I'm not here to complain about my outcome from the court cause that was a separate issue but i am here to complain about the unprofessional relationship I had with Mr. Valencia and how I will never recommend or reach out to them again. So save your money or go elsewhere because I wasted $4000 for something I could've and should've done myself. Last but not least I think it's very unprofessional how in most of the reviews that are not favored to them they put the person on blast for the previous case they had with them. That's very rude, unprofessional and down right dirty. If they do not like the truth being put in the reviews then maybe they should not be practicing law and giving people false hope. So I won't be surprised if I see information about my case they handled on here based on the responses to reviews that aren't in their favor.

In November last year, based on online reviews, I started consulting with Riccardo. At the beginning, he was quite patient. I consulted several lawyers and eventually chose him based on online reviews and his claim during the consultation that there was a 99% chance of winning the case. I felt relieved to leave the case to him. However, after we paid him, he stopped communicating and never proactively kept in touch.
At first, I thought my case was not a big deal until I was charged and realized the seriousness of the situation. I spent money consulting another lawyer online, who advised me to write a character letter and resume before being charged, which could have helped. But Riccardo never asked me to do anything besides providing basic materials. He was also unwilling to communicate proactively, and I didn't dare to keep asking him questions. Whenever I had questions, they were relayed through his assistant.
Throughout this period, he didn't inform me of what he was doing, and I had no idea about his actions until my case became more severe. He didn't help me much during the whole process and even made excuses, saying the DA was too young to understand family difficulties, which made me feel he was very unprofessional. I had trusted him because he claimed to have 30 years of experience.
After my case resulted in a conviction, I didn't disrespect him until a week ago when I asked if he could attend court on that day. He agreed, and I was very grateful. But today, when I asked him, he angrily told me he was very busy. He could have refused me or informed me earlier. Instead, he made a lot of excuses.
I swear that this person is really unprofessional, and I even doubt if those positive reviews about him are real. I know that when someone makes a mistake and needs professional help, they might go online and look at reviews. If you don't want to waste your time and risk losing your case, you really need to be cautious and not rely solely on ratings. From my experience, sometimes they are not reliable. This is my personal experience working with this person, and I hope to share it with those who need help. I fully understand your feelings, but it's crucial to be careful when choosing a lawyer.

Failed to adequately assist us in the case we hired her for, including falling to conduct adequate discovery mere days before our scheduled mediation. When called on it, she was aggressive and failed to take accountability even after acknowledging to my brother and I she was busy handling trial matters. Awful bedside manners and rude. We fired Patricia Boyse and had to immediately hire a new attorney, incurring substantial legal fees for the new attorney to come up to speed before the scheduled mediation. Horrible experience.

I found Mr. Bradley's attorney firm on google maps and I made a call to him seeking for some advice. I asked him some questions regarding a contract dispute I had, which involves a business/an agency who mismanaged our escrow account, and disbursed extra $6500 which was not in accordance with our contract. The business refused to return the money. Mr. Bradley kindly gave me extremely knowledgeable advice. He showed professionalism, respect, patience and kindness at heart during our conversation. Dan represented my kid in an expulsion which a previous lawyer had prepared an IEP as a last-ditch backup in the event an expulsion was initiated. More or less we walked in, signed the IEP that was on record, and were done in ten minutes. Probably easiest case Dan ever had. I will update this review as the process plays out.

I want a good lawyer watching my back, talking to me straight, and with my best intentions in his heart and mind at all times and not a traitor or a sell out.... i've been through over 25 attorneys in my life and spent over $1.5mil dollars on them .... most of them are bums.... gutless automatons doing the bidding of the District Attorney's Office so they can stay in their good graces and squeak out a living for what is basically a pathetic career...

I don't even want to give one star if I could just give zero. This firm is lying to us and trying to cheat our money. PLEASE DON'T GIVE THEM FREE MONEY!!! We had hired a lawyer, and he was very unprofessional everything he said sounded like he just read from a book. When I try to ask them any question they are very impatient to answer. Also lied to me that I could just pay them $1500 to get a new green card, but I had asked other lawyers about this case, and there was no way I could just pay for a new green card. During the case the lawyer also was very unprofessional, he kept telling the litigant to sign the paper to give up this case. The lawyer is not serious about the case after receiving the money. I asked them to give me the $1500 back, but they just kept telling me to wait. They already charge me for the lawyer fee and still want to make more money from me.

We had such a horrible experience with this Counselor. She is always asks for cash and meets at strange places! I gave her $2000 , she never completed the case, and gets extremely aggressive and angry when I followed up! I then started to worry about this and did some research on her. She was previously a Pole Dancer at a nightclub ! Wow! No wonder she exhibits this weird and strange behavior, I wonder how she handles her other cases. My money went down the drain! Pls take caution before hiring her.
