Me and my family wanna thank attorneys Annemarie Rizzo and Hillary Ellis for there amazing work throughout such a very stressful process. Annemarie rizzo and Hillary Ellis continued to encourage us even when the constant thought of going to jail was in the forefronts of our minds continually. I hired Scott Miller after I contacted a different criminal defense attorney which didn't get back with me until three days. During that time I contacted Scott Miller, his assistant Holly took my call and was very professional and assured me that Scott would get back with me promptly as he was in court at the time. A few hours at the most Scott Miller called me back and after explaining my case to him and him reviewing it I hired him on the spot. I felt that he was the right one. That was one of the best choices I've ever made. After a couple of months fighting the case Mr. Miller had the case dropped on July 1st 2024 a third degree misdemeanor with up to a year in jail. “Exceeds expectations” does not even begin to capture the stellar work that Mr. Aiken has done for my family! With utmost compassion, expertise, and professionalism, Mr. Aiken provided exceptional legal advice and courtroom representation, managing to simultaneously prepare us for multiple possible outcomes while keeping us cautiously optimistic–he then delivered the best realistic outcome possible under the circumstances.
Mr. Aiken was the second attorney whom we saw for consultation before choosing an attorney. The first attorney dismissed most of the background and context information as “irrelevant” and went right to the top two worst-case scenarios. That other attorney was also hard to get a hold of and always seemed rushed and mildly annoyed to be granting us any of his time. What a complete contrast with Mr. Aiken! From Day One, Mr. Aiken went above and beyond–he recognized behavioral and communications signs of autism in our initial meeting, informed us of the relevant case law, made connections for us for the necessary assessments, and built a solid case that included relevant contextual information dismissed by the other attorney. I hired Anne for a short sale which she represented my interests succussfully. She was also called again to protect my interests again when one of the parties failed to fulfill their agreement and was posting inaccurate information on my credit report. She boldly went where other attorney's failed and again, corrected the situation in short order. I think she is awesome and highly disappointed that this legal challenge went against her. Her plaintiff in this case probably was overreaching in their so-called rights in the First Amendment.

Hired and set up payments for Mr. Nawara to represent me. WORSE DECISCION I HAVE EVER MADE. Most of my payments were doubled, sometimes crippled as I wanted to get him paid off. The moment I had almost paid him off (case management hadn't even happened) he said I was unreasonable because I wouldn't take a plea and asked too many questions, and told me I needed to obtain other representation. Now I have a court appointed lawyer and out $3500. On top of all this, I was told if I remove my reviews he would explain the meanings of police lingo in my discovery, so I did in hopes his word was good as he hadn't helped me understand anything about my case. Since his motion to be removed from council I have recieved a complaint of a $200,000 lawsuit if I Don't remove my reviews and claims of extortion. I would never recommend him to represent anyone I cared for!!!
