Hired Ben to handle my paternity case. He talked a big game but then refused to even try to fight. When I lost the case he offered to do the name change since he failed to put it in the original petition. But after I did the original paper he ghosted me. Would not recommend to anyone.

John pushed for me to close even though I was still having issues! then he had a Doctor Who was 90 years old look at me or look at my injury! told me, yeah that would cause pain! John didn’t hear anything I had to say half the time no one would call me back. I would constantly have to call them to get any information of what was going on. Our company got hit with an out of state nuisance lawsuit. I tried to avoid legal fees and negotiate a reasonable settlement with the out of state attorney. However, he wouldn’t negotiate and wanted $20K+. I knew I needed a good lawyer and was referred to James Poe. Mr. Poe reviewed the out of state law, successfully came up with a brilliant legal plan, and worked to substantially reduce the settlement amount ($3,500). I wish I would have contacted Mr. Poe right from the beginning. It would have saved me a lot of time and stress. He is honest, works hard for you, and his prices are fair. Lynn Johnson is an awful lawyer and very unprofessional. She consulted with my lawyer and put in an email that she was offering a resolution so we couldn't use it as evidence then continued to verbally assault myself and my wife by calling us names. She was reported to the Missouri Bar for unprofessional misconduct and an investigation was opened on her by the Missouri Supreme court. My lawyer said she was the most unprofessional lawyer he ever encountered in his 30 year professional career. She also put lies and perjury in legal documents knowing their false lies. Read her other reviews, she has displayed disgusting behavior. Stay away, I wouldn't recommend at all.

Be very careful if considering hiring Joshua Roberts. He demands money, money, money and does nothing, nothing, nothing. Check out his other reviews online. I gave him $24,000.00 and he did nothing of value in representing me. He eventually withdrew from my case without reason or warning. Shortly thereafter he told me that the $24k retainer was used up. There was absolutely no way. I demanded a refund and he refused, saying "That's the nature of the business." I have hired attorneys before who have done a fantastic job and ripping people off was certainly not the "nature" of their businesses. He actually had the gumption to tell me I needed to pay him more money. Once he withdrew, I scrambled and tried to raise the money to find a legitimate attorney that could actually help me defend my position. I was unable to afford getting a different attorney, had to finish the case by trying desperately to defend myself, and ended up losing my case and getting a massive judgment against me.
This man (if he should even be called one) is no good. He's a liar, cheater, and a thief. He thinks he's superior to the law. Again, he's a liar, cheater, and a thief.
