Nichole was very detailed in gathering valuable information to defend our son who was misrepresented by a public defender. He was caught up in a system that offered little chance to get out of jail when no crime had been committed. She clearly pointed that out to the judge and our son was immediately released.

Hired her to fight an early termination of probation motion that the State did not agree to grant. She listened to all my concerns, constructed multiple arguments based on case law, crafted a flawless motion with all the supporting exhibits. She got me a win that the other attorneys I consulted with said I had no chance. Her price was more than fair. I paid 25k to another big firm for my original case and didn’t get half the attention Nicole gave me. I had interviewed MULTIPLE attorneys this go around and I am very satisfied to have had Nicole on my team…Lesson learned

Thank you for making the difficult process of applying for legal citizenship status much more seamless than we could have imagined. When we were in a difficult situation needing help adjusting my legal status (foreign citizen) after getting married, he helped us navigate the complex government paperwork. He provided us with several estimates as far as timelines and when to expect to hear back, all of which were correct. Yet again the legal eagle prevails. I was forced into an unfortunate situation having to defend myself violently in my own home. Subsequently I was arrested for domestic battery against a male assailant. After Mr. Hajaistorn negotiated my Hasty release the legal team went to work. In a time of uncertainty, and the courts being far behind, Alex and his team were able to reduce my violent charges to disturbing the peace plus nominal fine.., also withheld from my record. Ticket clinic used to have a higher success rate I feel. The last two times I hired them. I still had to pay the ticket. The only upside to it was that I got no points from the ticket and it education was withheld them in the past and they’ve got my tickets dismissed like I said the last two times they have not came through for me so I’m not sure I will hire them again.

Matthew McDowell did NOT do a professional job at all representing my case, but it is clear that when Mr. McDowell gets your money he is going to do what is in his best interest not the client. I hired Matthew McDowell to represent me for a reckless driving ticket and that is all he did was represent me he will not try his hardest to achieve the best outcome like a professional attorney would. I tried to contact Mr. McDowell multiples times asking if i could be present at all the hearings and be there with him because this was something serious to me that i was being charged with. Mr. McDowell shut me down and said it would be NO help in me showing up and it was in HIS best interest to just not have me at the court hearings. Mind you Im 19 years old now and i have to deal with a reckless driving ticket on my record, theres so many what ifs and there could of been so many other outcomes by me showing my respect and my time to go to all the court hearings and maybe i would of had a different outcome. But no Mr. McDowell did what he wanted even when i was the client. I would look for someone else that values you more as a person.

Honestly, He's a great guy and so is his staff. My Case exceeded my retainer and had about 1.5 years of effort into my case. In my opinion, divorce law is not his specialty. I do believe he did everything he could but there are things he should have pushed back on, and I mean numerous times. It was not completley my counsels fault. Rather the extraordinarily odd requests from opposing counsel. Talk about redundant. The other this lawyer could have done was let me know thousands of dollars prior that I had exceeded my retainer so I could have made arrangements with him to continue my case. Otherwise an ok attorney.

You cannot go wrong by contacting Sami Thalji. I had a debt collector calling me and harassing me with threats of imprisonment for a debt that I knew nothing about! Mr. Thalji's firm represented me in a foreclosure defense matter and at some point during the case identified a possible claim against the bank for calling my cell phone. I didn't understand what was happening but Mr. Thalji took the time to explain it to me and then filed a lawsuit against the bank for the cell phone calls. The case turned out to be very big and as a result my entire mortgage was waived. I went from the verge of losing my home to owning my home free and clear and all because Mr. Thalji identified a claim that was right under my nose but didn't even tell him about. Mr. Thalji and his firm were excellent.

I contacted Mr Getzin to take care of my divorce, I got him all the information that he requested and the payment, everything was fine on the first 7 or 8 months, but then things just stop moving, I will contact him and he will apologice and justify the fact that he was busy and other things, he say that will contact the judge and arrange the court day and prepare this paper or this other paper and that he will let me know later and update me on the case, finally I ask for copies of the documentation that he send to court and everything so I can consult another lawyer because he was taking too long, he give me nothing and told me that he could not continue with my case and that he was going to tell a "friend" to take care of it, my case was dismissed by the judge because he as my legal representation stopped doing his job, wasted 2 years time, money and stress...

My fiance and I rented a place from a local property management company. We had some concerns while we rented but we did not expect what would happen when we moved out. The company attempted to charge us an insane amount of money and threatened to take us to court even though we satisfied the terms of our agreement upon vacating the property. I didn't have the displeasure of hiring Mr Mclymont, I actually went with a firm with a little more experience. From what I witnessed he had a very hard time maintaining relevance and reached to the point where he totally lost it for himself and his client. He also seems as if he doesn't move his lips when he talks which distorts alot of the questions he asks. I would think twice before hiring this guy for defense in a case that involves family law and would strongly consider a more experienced firm. Jeremy has shown why 2 years practicing law is just not enough to gamble your chances at timeshare or anything closely related. Better luck next time..

After being married for 17 years and 4 kids later, I never thought I'd get divorced. My husband met someone and wanted out. I did alot of research on the internet looking for an attorney and after meeting 6 attorneys in person, I chose Michael to represent me and I am so glad I did. There was no arguement about custody, he didn't want the burden of the kids. But trying to get child support, house payments and alimony was a huge fight. One of our boys is disabled and I've been a SAHM all their lives. Michael fought for me and the kids. He is a real family man as well and truely had our best interests in mind. The other side try to bully us and made false accusations, but in the end we prevailed and I am very happy with the results. I looked into alot of lawyers for my daughter’s case. Most of them said nothing could be done or tried to charge huge amounts of money to take the case. I spoke with Loren Rhoton because the women at my daughter’s prison said that he is the best post conviction lawyer in Florida. I talked to Loren Rhoton and he really knew his stuff. His fees weren’t cheap, but I guess that’s okay because I wasn’t looking to save money, I was looking to save my daughter. Mr. Rhoton was aggressive in court and was eventually able to negotiate a better sentence for my daughter. I hope I never have to speak with an attorney again, but if I do, I will be calling Mr. Rhoton.

Hubbell is a great attorney. He's difficult to get ahold of on days when he's in court. I don't know why all of these reviews are critical about payment. Lawyers don't work for free. We hired Mr. Marchese to help us rectify an adoption that had gone terribly wrong (we are the birth family). He was the only lawyer who agreed to take our case, so we had no choice among attorneys. Mr. Marchese explained on the phone what our possible avenues of redress would be. He required $15,000, nonrefundable, up front and drew up an agreement stating all the things he would do. We said OK despite the big price tag because we were desperate to help our grandson, whom we were convinced had been placed in a very bad home.
After our first phone conversation, Mr. Marchese immediately called our adoption agency to ask what the situation was with our case and get some specifics. A couple of days later I had some questions for him and was hesitating a little about hiring him (had not signed an agreement yet). But he insisted that, with the phone call he made to the agency, he was already representing us and we were obligated to hire him. He insisted the $15K be overnighted to him.
The day after we sent the money, we found out that the whole adoption situation had changed. The adoption agency called us to say that the boy was no longer with that family, but had been handed off to a new family. They, in turn, had their own lawyer, who told us within a week or two that if we used Mr. Marchese's services they would shut down any possibility of working with us or letting us ever see our grandson.
So we had to tell Mr. Marchese to stand down--we had to somehow go it alone.
Even though Mr. Marchese put in only a handful of hours on our behalf, and even though the entire situation we had hired him to address had immediately changed to make legal remedies impossible, Mr. Marchese chose to keep the entire $15,000 fee. To enforce the "nonrefundable" nature of the fee in this case seems to take advantage of desperate people This was all very painful--we now had no lawyer, no assistance, no grandson, and no $15K.
I sent Mr. Marchese a couple of letters and emails asking him to consider a partial refund, since basically none of the things mentioned in our agreement letter ever got done due to the vastly changed situation. He never responded.

My wife and I had been battling a very unique immigration situation as I was pursuing my permanent residency. Mr. Marchese was not only extremely professional but it took him a very short time (compared to the other lawyers we consulted with) to understand the complexities of our situation and come up with a game plan that helped us achieve our goal. He was also very understanding and willing to work with our financial situation as we both were college students at the time. The fact that we were fairly young and had very little knowledge of immigration laws was the perfect opportunity for any lawyer to take advantage of. Mr. Marchese did the complete opposite and in fact educated us on quite a few things in the process. I would highly recommend this lawyer to anyone going through immigration issues as he is extremely sharp, hard working and very fair. If ever an immigration situation should arise I plan on returning to Mr. Marchese with no doubt in mind. The only regret I had with my experience was not putting up a review as soon as possible.
