I got a pom, possession of marijuana, in 2012 called an attorney that I had used on previous pom charge (2006) and was told x amount for 12 months differed probation. Called a friend and got Stevens number, who had also used previous lawyer. Called Steven for him to tell me half the price for same probation. Steven was at court on time, on day required, and explained everything to me in laymen's terms.Did my 12 months and have since called Steven for advise for pom in Alabama (referred me to someone in Alabama name/number) as well as a family law matter. If he can't take care of you, he can and will refer you to a recommended choice. Would recommend him to anyone I know.

I hired Lashon in late 2014. she actually listened to what I had to say. My court date was fast approaching and I thought I was in a great deal of trouble. From the first consultation with Lashon she stood up for me with the opposing attorney and advised me to continue doing what I was doing and leave the rest to her. I then received a summons to appear in court because my ex-spouse wanted me to give up total control. Well Lashon had something to say about that. When the court date came not only did Lashon get my ex-spouse to admit that the children had never missed an event that she had planned, the judge took about 5 seconds to deny opposing counsels motion. It took everything I had not to break out into tears in front of the judge. Then she took the time to talk me through the process after court and told me what to expect next. I have absolutely no regrets, except for maybe not hiring her sooner. I highly recommend her and would use her again without any delay. LASHON.....Thank you so very much for your help!

Gladys Del Fierro is the best attorney ever. She help us in a juvenile drug charge case. She ended up getting us deferred prosecution which is like a dismissal with minimal probation time. Previous lawyers, the DA, the probation officer all said this could not happen but our lawyer made it happen. Amazing. Just wish i had known about her sooner and my child would not have had to wait 3mths on house arrest. Everyone I spoke to talked about how difficult Judge Kelsey's court is and that my child had little hope. Our impression of the court was changed by our lawyer Gladys Del Fierro, With the proper attorney everything is possible. I first heard about Travis Ware while overhearing a fellow coworker discussing her divorce. From all appearances, she wound up getting the raw end of the deal. When she was asked who her ex husband had for an attorney, I kept my face buried in my cellphone, but I was all ears. When she said "Travis Ware," I made a mental note to remember that name. And boy am I glad I did!
At that time I was in an abusive marriage that I needed to get out of, and I needed an attorney who would be able to circumvent all the tricks that the ex had up his sleeve. Not only did Travis deliver, he delivered in spades. In addition, his staff was awesome. Everyone was very supportive and made me feel as though I was the only client!

My son was asked by someone he thought was a friend to drive him somewhere. The friend picked up other friends that pulled a gun on my son and made him drive to commit a crime. When the police stopped them, my son pulled over and the others ran. The police refused to listen to his explanation and he was charged with the crime.
Ms. Fisher fought long and hard to find the others and present evidence that cleared my son of wrong doing. It took over a year, but she did not take the easy way out and plea down the charges, charges that would have followed my son throughout his life. She is well respected by those in the court system and has integrity. She is tough and she doesn't back down.
My son has a good job and has a future thanks to Ms. Fisher's help. Without her, his ability to get a good job would have been limited. I can't thank her enough.

I have had the pleasure of working with Attorney Kelly on two occasions this year. The 1st time I was renting from a rogue property owner who refused to fix the a/c when it was hot and the heating unit in the middle of winter. When the unit was finally fixed she transferred the costs back to me and wouldn't accept rent until the balance of $1,100 was covered. I immediately retained Attorney Kelly and within 30 days she and the property mgmt company agreed they were responsible for the unit expense, dropped the case, and allowed me and my family to move out a month early! The 2nd time I needed legal advice and Attorney Kelly was there prompty to provide me with the proper guidance. I sleep better at night knowing I have an attorney like Kelly who will make sure my family is protected.

I hired Yolanda Torres, Esq. to represent my girlfriend for her parole hearing before the BPP for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Ms. Torres is one of the best parole attorneys in Texas who does more than throw together a “parole pack” like so many parole attorneys do. I took the time to talk with several parole attorneys, checking their background and professionalism, and even visiting them before I hired Ms. Torres. She is an advocate who specializes in prisoner civil rights and litigation, in addition representing parole and revocation matters. We wanted an attorney who would give my girlfriend the best chance of coming home on parole.
Ms. Torres reviewed the entire picture for my girlfriend, criminal records, her activities in prison, including behavior, discipline and education, and made a recommendation of what we could expect. Ms. Torres worked closely with my girlfriend, kept me and her family informed of her progress and had a meeting with the BPP members. Ms. Torres is an excellent attorney and I cannot say enough about what she did for us.
It helped that my girlfriend was a model prisoner, doing all she could to better herself and make sure that she was ready to come home to have a good life. She took all the self-help and development courses she could, as well as education programs that should help her get a good job.
Ms. Torres made sure that everything was done right, support letters, interviews, meeting and really advocated for my girlfriend. . The final result is that my girlfriend was granted parole by the BPP and will soon be released from prison. I am sure that without her, my girlfriend would still be in prison and wondering what more she could do herself.
I high recommend Ms. Torres to anyone who has problems with prison officials, or want to give someone they love the best chance of being released on parole. Ms. Torres was worth every penny we paid for her legal services.

I contacted Ms. Torres when my son, who is in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, was the victim of a prison guard who wrote a trumped up disciplinary case against him. The case caused my son to lose his parole release date. Ms. Torres not only had the disciplinary conviction reversed and removed from my son's record, she worked with the parole authorities to have his parole release date reinstated and have my son released from prison. She continued to follow up on the case until my son was actually released and walked out of prison. Without her, my son would still be in prison and have that disciplinary case on his record!!
I recommend Ms. Torres to anyone who is having any problems with prison officials or inside of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

If someone asked me do I know a good attorney, I’d say I know an EXCELLENT attorney and her name is Letitia Quinones.
Back in 2007, I needed legal assistance to help with a criminal case. A gentleman I met told me to contact the attorney he knew. The attorney he knew did not end up being the Counsel, but Letitia was given the case. Not knowing what to expect, I was extremely grateful for Letitia because she was honest and laid the cards on the table. There was no guessing or leaving without understanding. She was great! We never know why things happen the way that they do, but God sent us an Angel.

Hired Ray Adam's to handle my divorce and child custody case. Being a man fighting for custody of my children in Texas was an uphill battle not many Men can ever say they won. Straight from the start he informed me of the variables and battle ahead. Never did he fill my head with "over coincident result" or a sure outcome. Simply put, Edward Kalabus (Bo) is an awesome defense attorney. He over delivered by a mile instead of making huge promises up front. I was looking for an attorney and overheard someone mention his name. I asked for references and found out very quickly that Barnett wins, and he wins a lot. He met with me and my mother and explained the entire process to us. I have no experience with Barnett outside what I witnessed during my fathers trial in which he was accused of very haineous allegations. While watching Barnett in the court room, I knew without a shadow of a doubt that he was dedicated to justice and would stop at nothing to see it served. I hired Alex to help me with a civil litigation matter. From the very beginning, Alex was very engaged and knowledgeable about the subject matter. Many years ago I hired John to handle my child support arrears case. After many months of hell and trying to show evidence of payments, John was able to win the case and have my arrearage expunged. Now just recently I had to hire John again for modification to my divorcee decree. Mr. Wohr is a very hard working attorney who has his client's best interests at heart and will work tirelessly to get them the best possible results. Not to violate attorney-client privileges, but I would like to write about the time I was told by Mr. Wohr that I would have to receive a sentence of a few months in county jail and I offered him several thousand dollars to keep me out of jail. Mr. Wohr was honest with me and told me their was nothing further he could do to keep me from going to jail. The D.A. had already given us the best offer they were going to give us, so Mr. Wohr politely declined my monetary offer and I received a sentence of a few months in the county jail when I could have actually received a sentence of 2 years in the State Penetentiary. Then, after my sentence was handed out, Mr. Wohr continued to work on my case for no additional money and got me Work Release so I could be home for the Holidays. A less honest and less ethical attorney would have quickly taken my money and lied about keeping me out of jail and I still would have received the same jail sentence. What more can you ask for than an honest and hard working attorney? First time ever in jail and looking at felony 2 with a court appointed lawyer and I was terrified by all the horror stories of my fellow inmates. My odds at getting one to actually care to show up and discuss my case with me were little to none. I heard continuously bad things about most court appointed lawyers. They finally assigned one to me four weeks in and by 9 am the next morning his team was there to work to help me. I was blown away.
