I recently retained Mr. Lindsey's service for a rather complicated traffic violation. Throughout the process, he was very attentive as well as empathetic to my situation. An amicable resolution could not be reached verbally, and we were forced to have a trial. Mr. Lindsey was professional and argued my case flawlessly. His ability to make an argument in the courtroom was very impressive. I must also add, since I am from Maryland and the citation was issued in Virginia, that Mr. Lindsey is very well versed in legal codes for both states, and with that knowledge, was able to negotiate an outcome that was beneficial to me. I am pleased that I selected him to assist me, and, though I hope I don't have a need for him again, I would not hesitate to retain his services again.

I am incredibly thankful for Andrew Lindsey representing me in my case, my ultimate decision to go with him was because he went through a similar case and has great experience with criminal defense. He was also the only attorney to give me an hours worth of his time free of charge to explain in full depth what my case entails and the hypotheticals that could take place. We were expected to go to court, with Mr. Lindsey's extensive knowledge with statements back and forth with the judge and prosecutor he was able to get my case dropped before the preliminary hearing and I face no charges brought against me! Over that entire time Jim was always smart, tenacious, experienced, a great listener, and (most importantly) caring. A lot of road blocks popped up over the life of my case. Damon Colbert is top tier! You won’t regret hiring him. In my loved ones case, we learned just how unjust the justice system is. The first attorney we hired was recommended to us by a friend and he completely dropped the ball. Never visited the jail, didn’t answer phone calls, kept us completely out of the loop and failed to produce results.
We decided to hire Mr. Colbert just a couple of months before trial and immediately saw the difference. He stepped in and was very attentive, timely, and personable from the day we retained him. He was also affordable. Out of the dozens of attorneys we spoke with, Damon was the only one who didn’t seem motivated by money. He actually cared. He routinely visited the jail at least once a week. We (the family) never felt like we were burdening him with questions or as if we had to chase him down for updates. He always contacted us first as soon as he received updates.
He was truly a blessing throughout this whole process. Especially given the fact that he had to pick up the slack of another attorney on such short notice. He did great at trial and presented the evidence clearly and professionally. Even when the prosecutors were twisting facts, he made sure the jury understood the truth. & most importantly the jury found him not-guilty of a charge that he would’ve been facing up to a decade of jail time for. I have not personally met Mr Colbert, or seen him in action, however I have recently learned from my second family, how he helped my "nephew" out of what seemed like a bad situation, especially in our Commonwealth state. I originally booked a consultation last year with Pervaiz to discuss my options since I was going through divorce. I didn't have enough info for her during my 1 hour consultation so she cut my session short. So I ended up having a credit for 150$ from the 300$ hour consultation.
After I finalized my divorce amicably with my ex, I decided to reach out to schedule a consultation to write a Will. No Money was collected for this appointment, I just reminded them I had the credit still in my account and they confirmed. I called and emailed the day of my appointment to let them know I had a 103 fever and that I was very sick and I am not able to discuss anything related to a "Will". I mean how could you? With a high fever!! This is a serious topic and you need you full brain capacity to do so!!
Pervaiz refused to reschedule my appointment and they told me if I do not call at my appointment time that they will not allow me to reschedule.
I was diagnosed with the flu and pneumonia and they can clearly tell I am not making my sickness up from the way I was coughing. I offered to send a doctor's note however she just decided to take the credit I have left with them instead of being empathetic with my situation! This clearly shows you that she doesn't care about people! And she just knew I had a credit and took it!
Sickness happens and this unpredictable. I will not recommend her to anyone especially after what happened to me!
