I have used Elizabeth several times to help me with a few legal issues. She successfully negotiated several contracts with my bisiness. She represented me on a minor domestic matter. She also helped me with some traffic problems. I appreciate that I can always call her for advice or a question. If she cant talk to me right away then scheduling a time to talk is always easy. Working with Elizabeth Carpenter and her law firm has truly saved my life, which in the past was entirely unmanageable. In 2020 while I was in active addiction I made the grave mistake of falling into the wrong crowd of people that unfortunately involved me in a high profile case in Jefferson Parish. By some miracle she and her law firm were able to help me retain most of my freedoms and continued to fight for me through the process of probation and ensuring that I got the help I needed to achieve a sober life. I received a ordinance violation ticket last year and hired Elizabeth after an issue with our previous attorney. She said she would do some research and let us know our options. She never contacted us back, so unless we called her there was no communication. Everytime we asked what was going on, she had nothing. WE did the research, WE did all the footwork. When my trial came she was still not prepared. The DA questioned the officer involved and he had no clue who I was and then assumed I was actually someone else. When Elizabeth went to question him she did not ask any questions regarding what the officer said and bumbled through the entire questioning. Ultimately I was found guilty for a charge that I never did.
My husband in his frustration through this
( his review is here as well anthony beck) contacted her several times regarding the fact she never did any research, or contacted us, she would get short and overly defensive with him. He did tell her flat out that during this time she did nothing which is the truth.
In court she told me he was a "scary, horrible abusive man" and she "feels sorry for me".
She responded to his review with half truths and messaged me demanding he remove his review, again saying that she feels sorry for me living with "such a horrible abusive man" which he is definitely not.

I was referred to Loftin & Leblanc law firm by a friend. I was actually referred to another attorney than the one that is representing my family’s case. Cody Vidrine has been so diligent and has invested a lot of time into the lawsuit that I filed on behalf of my children and myself. I would recommend this law firm to anyone. Personally, I would highly recommend Cody Vidrine to a friend or family member because he has been such a great attorney. My children and I were in a multi-vehicle accident on the 210 Bridge in Lake Charles in March 2021. Anyway, we are still in the process of an active/ongoing lawsuit process against the at fault drivers. It’s been a long 3 years so far. In March 2025, it will be 4 years since the automobile accident and the process has been complicated. My attorney has been very thorough with explaining the process, remaining in contact with me, informative about the case, aggressively and diligently representing my family. After my accident, I was able to get into a nice rental car the same day of my first visit with Mr. Vidrine. Due to having to go to Chiropractic care 3x a week, I ended up losing my job because they would not work with the physical therapy schedule. Within only a few days, I was awarded two of my missed paychecks from me prior job. The Loftin & Leblanc law firm is a very great practice. Their attorneys are very knowledgeable, skilled, compassionate, caring, aggressive and kind to their clients. If you need representation from a highly qualified and competent attorney, I would suggest Cody Vidrine or any of the other attorneys there. My personal experience with this attorney has been great. Although the at fault drivers have not been compliant with their response at all; Mr. Vidrine is ensuring that they will respond to our demands for the settlement. If I could give this google review a 10/10, I would. If you have been in an automobile accident, Cody is the one to call. If you need someone who will diligently and aggressively fight for you; he is the one to call. He has been great and I would retain him again for any other legal matters.

He didn’t do the right job
I am the owner of BUDATAN ASIAN CUISINE, and I am writing to address serious concerns regarding the progress of our restaurant project.
For the past two years, we have faced numerous challenges due to the unprofessionalism of our contractor, （Edwin Cruz Construction）. We placed all our hopes and trust in this company, but unfortunately, they have repeatedly broken promises, misused project funds for unrelated work, and caused severe financial shortages. We believe this behavior may constitute fraud.
Despite filing a complaint with the licensing board, we have not received any useful assistance. After paying the full amount based on the initial estimate, the contractor continued to demand more money, blaming underestimations likely caused by his lack of professionalism.
In April 2024, we hired an attorney and sent a demand letter to Edvin Cruz. After negotiations, we paid additional funds, and Edvin promised to complete everything within a month. However, since receiving the extra money, there has been no significant progress, and the project remains delayed through September.
In total, this project has now been delayed for over two years.

I hired Sharon Williams to help me with a name change. I told her I wanted to use an attorney with experience in this sort of thing so I wouldn't have to worry about it and would get it done fast as I need to have my preferred name match for my job. She told me not to worry, that she would take care of it quickly. I initially met with her in late July, and I signed my petition in early August. it is now January and the process is not done. She has been very unresponsive, as I've texted her multiple times asking for specifics on why this is taking so long. I now haven't heard from her in a week. I've called her office multiple times with no answer and left messages. Called her phone but the voicemail box is full. The lack of communication leaves me to not trust that she is able to do the job I paid her to do in a timely manner, and feel like I've wasted my time and money for something I would have been better off doing myself. Ive spoken with people who have changed their names on their own with no attorney and most did it within a month. I am at 5 months. My passport has expired and my license expires soon which will be a major complication where I have to renew it under my old name, while I was under the impression would have been taken care of by now. I would not trust Sharon Williams with anything as important as custody or a will if she can't even properly do a name change.

Mr. Ligh decided to sue my family because we moved to a new home after having a house fire and his clients the Carrington Place Subdivision HOA chose to file suit against us after giving me 6 months to begin project and 18 months to finish and the Hoa pushed Randy Ligh to file suit after 5 months costing my family $3394.00 and this is how their lawyer and my Hoa welcomes new residents to the neighborhood! Pushing on us since we got here and why the heck would they file lawsuit when they gave me 18 for finish project and sue me after 5.🫤🤔we had a house fire for goodness sake and a very bad one losing everything! I’ve begged and begged these people for peace for my family because we have been through a lot our marriage is u set a lot of stress and this extra stress is going to end my marriage and this has absolutely been the case! One of the stipulations nowhere in the handbook is this a violating offense but amongst several unfair practices committed against us here is a few! I am forced to park behind a fence I’m still building because it “detracts” from our neighborhood when two houses next to me have vehicles that have not ran or moved since I’ve been there 1.5yrs and I no longer must park behind setback line it must be behind the fence that if I chop down would not hide my truck and they couldn’t sue me because the fence project would be cancelled not completed! Then I am being told I can not have patio lights above my drive way which is barely seen from the road and before they made me cut 4” off my gate it wasn’t visible from the road and why is everyone else allowed these huge arches on their gates but I found recently one HOA member said well it’s because they regret approving a wood fence and wish they had only approved rod iron bar gates because they want transparency but I’m sorry because they already approved it I bought and built the gates plus screw transparency because they violated even advertised my family on the front page of their newsletter which created a mob literally …like someone came to my house who lived 4 houses away and pulled a knife on me in my front yard when it was just me and my 8&10 yr old daughters there! Plus Hoa architectural board of directors lady came down after I called cops and she came to the rescue of the people who pulled a knife on me saying I cause problems all the time which is a lie because I never leave my house so I don’t cause anything and if I did while not leaving my house then what is so bad really…name one thing that’s a problem I caused and why do they condone the offenders who pulled a knife on me at my house in my yard and about my patio lights here is a pic that since I moved here I have made nothing consistent progress improving the exterior by far and i out every blade of zoysia grass down removed 4 tree and have the most beautiful landscape hundreds types of flowers having now best grass beat gardens and best fence and in this pic I decorated my landscape with lights because I’m a landscaper but you will see my fence that has a hidden tape light behind the 1x4 trim so it cast light down without seeing the light strip itself and behind the fence u can see the lights strung zig zagging across driveway overhead and they don’t allow that to me only and violate me only for these but the second pic is a neighbor a few house down from the president and he/she has the gutters with led lights already installed on them and they keep these gutter lights on that looks like Spanish town parade coming through every single day yr round since they recently got and let me say I do not care about their lights. I like the indifference character each person does and is allowed to decorate their house but if the HOA isn’t fining them in pic 2 but ruthlessly Pursuing me then it’s compiled with rest of evidence that proves them targeting me and I’m still unclear why because we came from a house fire so pic one my house lights over driveway and this was during Christmas 2nd pic free neighbor! so much stress my wife decided divorce when I begged HOA for peace and I lose my family

I've worked in sales and in restaurants most of my young adult life. The most important rule I learned while doing so is that anything sales, anything even if it's an annuity is you're selling yourself. You might offer a service but in order to perform said service you sell your client on the idea of YOU. The ladies at reception don't seem to understand that concept at all, and if I was one of the attorneys who had those ladies as my assistants I would do some serious reevaluation. I've never been spoken to or disrespected the way I was by these women. I would highly recommend usinh any other ANY other litigation attorney.

I came here for Melanie to be my custody lawyer for my case involving my child’s father and myself ….. you will barley get answers on anything… the front desk will say they can take a message and you won’t hear anything back …! Literally all the information Melanie would provide about my case would be told to me after I’ve already called the clerk of court to find out !!!! Through the grace of God, I did it. Covid hit, significant other and I departed ways. I was left with all the debt, being a single mom, and working my but off. My grandfather always stated, “Owe no man. Pay your debts.” It was tough, I was paying 256.00 bi-weekly. My final payment has been made!! I did it, thank you Jesus. I never had trouble reaching anyone. The debt was to American Express. I currently have rebuilt my credit, have two credit cards with no balance, an improved fico and credit score, thanks to Capital One and Discover. I was always greeted nicely by the representative and transferred to the correct department. Couch and Lambert thank you. American Express thank you. God I thank you.

One the most worst attorneys I've dealt with in my sixty years on earth. Yes, it is very true when people say he treads that fine line without crossing over it. But most importantly, David Greenberg has made a lot of money over his years as an attorney developing friendships along the way that has turned into a culture of attorneys that will protect one another at all costs... especially at the fee dispute board where they offer no diversity. David Greenberg was hired to open a succession. The property had a signed contract for $120,000, but that still wasn't enough to get a status hearing or open a succession or partition by licitation. After #7340, nothing was done for over a year. The only consistency from his office was billing. My belief is that all individuals that David Greenberg has taken advantage of should band together and go to the news media and plead their cases before the public. David Greenberg's treachery has no boundaries. I have every document supporting every claim that I've made in this review. I spoke to the fee dispute board at the Louisiana bar association. I was told that the arbitrator who resided over our case and ruled in favor of David Greenberg didn't have to cite reasons as to why or how he came to his decision. This was appalling considering the fact that David Greenberg admitted he "dropped the ball" pertaining to our case DURING the arbitration hearing. Even a judge in the courtroom gives a reason why he/she rendered their verdict. It seems as though rules and policies are geared towards protecting a culture of attorneys that prey upon their clients without ANY accountability. In what other practice can a person admit to wrongdoing and have zero disciplinary or financial consequences for failure to perform his contractual obligation, especially as an officer of the court? David Greenberg asked the court to withdraw him from our case since we fired him. We didn't fire him. We did give him an ultimatum via letter and wanted to sit down and talk about our concerns. He agreed but backed out the day before the meeting. Overall, we had a horrible experience and would NEVER recommend his services to anyone else.
