Scott Needleman went above and beyond to help us. We were an incredibly unique case. We did not pass the means test for a Chapter 7, but Scott went to work and made it happen. Another twist to our story, my mother died the day after we filed. Associated with her death were some payable upon death beneficiary accounts. I called Scott he told me they would be the property of the bankruptcy trustee. The typical attorney would just give up at this point. Scott researched and found court cases in which these types of funds were treated like lottery winnings, they get to keep it. Scott presented his research to the trustee who agreed we could keep this large sum of money. Scott’s work for us made us feel like we won the lottery. Every attorney we interviewed immediately stated we had to file chapter 13 and I have no doubt we would have also lost the money my mother intended for us. Scott will work hard for you. He is worth the Money!!!!!!

I recently hired Roger to help me revise my custody arrangement for my two children. I am extremely happy with the results as well as the entire management of my case from start to finish. I am confident this is the last time I’ll have to return to court regarding the custody of my minor children as Roger was so effective in resolving the case to their benefit. I would highly recommend Roger to anyone dealing with a difficult custody situation. You have to be willing to listen to Roger’s advice and expertise. He knows the ins and outs of the court system, understands the tough relationship dynamics at play in divorce and custody agreements, and will be your best advocate as long as you are willing to do your part as well!
I also really appreciated Roger’s use of the MyCase software. This web-based platform contained all of our appointments, communication, files, invoices, etc. He kept everything very organized on the site and I always knew what was the status of the case, the next steps, and what to expect. The transparency on my case was very important! Best experience I’ve ever had with case management.
And as a bonus… before I worked with Roger, I had a lot of anxiety surrounding attorneys, similar to the “white coat syndrome” that many people experience around doctors. Roger calmed my anxiety not just in regards to my custody case, but also my anxiety around attorneys in general. He is not just a great attorney, but a great human and it shows in all that he does. He made me so comfortable, I’m now in a serious relationship with a wonderful man who also happens to be an attorney!

My case was with a major credit collection agency. At first I thought that I could take the case myself to court, but I can say that it was not the best decision at all. After leaving the first court hearing, I did a google search and found this website. My decision to hire Michael Fine was do to the great reviews. The results were extraordinary, he was able to get a great deal and the case dismissed. I did not expect such an amazing deal to this case, but it was all done in a matter of a few weeks, with no reason to show up in court even once or at his office for that matter. Mr. Fine really believes in the concept of justice for the maligned. A debt collection agency knew they were breaking the law when they served me but still tried to collect on a deceptively high amount. They would not back down but neither did Mr. Fine. He filed suit in federal court and got me the maximum allowed.

Where other attorneys wouldn't even listen Michael not only listened but had the debt collector settle with me in my case (yes pay me) and drop their suit and erase the debt from my credit report due to all of their mistakes and lack of legitimate back up. I had the pleasure of working with Russell Moorhead last year on a probate and paternity case. I noticed Russell also specialized in real estate, so I figured it would be a good idea to hire him again. Mr. Moorehead is an intelligent, experienced and talented lawyer who also possesses the emotional intelligence to expertly handle clients and everyone else in the courtroom. I was fortunate to have him in court with me for a real estate deal case. Many times, you think you know what the outcome of a court case will or should be based on your own past experience or what you read online. Unfortunately, that just isn't true. You need a lawyer like Russell who understands how the evidence will be evaluated and how the judge and opposing attorneys will react. That's exactly what happened with my case. Russell knew right away what the best possible outcome for me would be. He explained how much we should ask for in the settlement, why and what to expect. Monica Walker was my divorce attorney. She only had 3 months, for final hearing, to get caught up on a case that had been going on for 9 months. But she dug hours into past paperwork. If you’re in the air about a lawyer to choose, just stop looking, and go with Michael. This man is an absolute saint in my eyes. A hero, if you will. Now, these things don’t happen over night, so as long as you have a little bit of patience, it will surely go a long ways. This man not only helped me get my children back after I had them taken through addiction, but he was so calm and understanding about the entire process. From day one he made me feel comfortable and confident that he was the right man for the job, and he was going to get it done. He’s very good about staying in contact with you throughout the entirety of your process, and is willing, and WILL jump through all the necessary hoops. I have unfortunately been left by the wayside from this office. They helped with taking care of a traffic case, which was to lead to a dismissal if court fees were paid. I made payment before the instructed time frame. However, in the midst of this I ended up with a license suspension for failure to appear in court and the only reason I found out was from getting a new vehicle that I needed plates for. Long story short I reached out to find out if it was the Ohio BMV's mistake or the office. They sprung into action quickly to respond and then fell into a cold period of no contact, no follow up, or anything of the sort. Fast forward 7 months later I reach out again about who's mistake it was and was greeted with quick response and action. Just to fall back off on this matter. I've seen emails multiple days in a row and gave as much grace as I could give with this. I'm facing increase in insurance due to this case that I was told was dismissed months ago. There has been no follow through or accountability accepted in this. For this, I do not recommend anyone to this firm for assistance.

A FRAUD....In 2014 November the 12th, Defense attorney Paul Zachary Olah filed for a motion for an order for leave to file a motion for a new trial. That motion was based on an updated DNA report due to a change in reporting procedures by the Columbus Police Department. The motion was only four paragraphs long and did not explain the significance of the changed DNA results. The State built its case on the testimony of Amoreena Pauley, a DNA analyst who indicated Lundy's DNA was present on two items from the crime. After the trial, the Columbus Police Department crime lab realized it erred when it reported the DNA results in this case, and issued a revised report. That new DNA report shows that rather than suggesting that Lundy's DNA was present on two items from the crime scene, the results provide no information regarding whether Lundy's DNA was found on items. The DNA results changed from implicating Lundy to providing no value at all to the State's case. Although the State argued at trial that DNA from the items supposedly used to tie up Setecia Hayes included Lundy's DNA, we now know — according to the Columbus Police Department crime lab revised report — that Lundy's DNA has not been confirmed at the crime scene. This distinction is significant in a case where the State emphasized the significance of Lundy's and Setecia Hayes's DNA results during trial.The trial court denied Lundy's motion, finding that "a change in CPD's DNA reporting policy is not newly discovered evidence" 'and noting that "Lundy could have, in the exercise of due diligence, retained an expert to discuss any flaws that could have existed in CPD's DNA reporting procedure for his trial."..

Doesn't matter how important your case or the timeline. You can wait two months for them to never contact you, despite contacting them multiple times, and lose your court case, or you can go elsewhere. There's nice reviews from years ago. Apparently they fell off.

I found myself in an unfortunate situation, (traffic related), requiring legal counsel which I could not afford. Andrew was appointed by the Court to be my public defender. When we first met I was immediately impressed by his intelligence and empathy. Prior to the trial he had met with the prosecutor and one charge was dismissed, another down grated. I called to just get generic information such as pricing on filing he proceeded to ask me personal information so he could put it at his computer when I didn't want to give him my information I told him I just needed to know pricing he rudely responded with I'm not going to answer a bunch of questions for you with nothing and no money down!! So just know when you get that type of response before even getting into anything personal or financial he shows how rude he is and money hungry before he even obtains you as a client!! Little advice you should be more kind to people that are calling to possibly be a future client how do you know that I wasn't going to choose you after you gave me a quote and a price? Very rude!!!
