Caroline takes an empathetic approach to her work, which I very much appreciated while navigating such a stressful situation that involved the landlord, insurance, and other building tenants. She is easily accessible, takes the time to explain everything in detail, and also listens to any concerns you have without casting judgement. From the beginning Phil seelig was thorough and took out the time to explain my New York City Police Department three quarters disability case (World Trade Center )He was extremely knowledgable and always professional. The best decision I made was hiring Cannon Kearney to represent my fiance with his child support case. Every attorneys office I called prior to him wanted a consultation fee without even hearing the situation or our needs. Cannon was the first one to not mention a fee and listen to what we had going on first which completely won my business. All I needed was someone to listen and he did just that. Throughout the process he was very hands on and communicative. The case results were in our favor and beyond what we expected and wanted. And that was thanks to Mr. Kearney expertise and guidance. What a terrible disappointment. I never wanted to go through a law suit in my life, but since I was hit by a car family and friends urged to do so. I don’t recommend suing.
I did everything I was supposed to do, went to doctors appointments, physical therapy, etc. I didn’t do this because of the law suit, I did it because I was in pain. This case has been going on since 2018 and my trial was November 2021.
I met my lawyer for the first time a week before my trial. The FIRST. I was supposed to “meet him” in 2018 when signing legal documents but instead I met his secretary and was told he was too busy. The second time at the office (when I did my deposition) I met one of his colleagues who was purchasing Christmas presents for his children next to me and not listening to a word I’m saying.
He did not go over my case with me until WEEKS before a trial. And when I say go over l, I mean a half hour lunch that he was two hours late for.
I never felt confident with him, I never even met him! He absolutely didn’t go over all the paperwork ,which resulted in me looking like a liar to the jury, because he didn’t even know everything he needed to about me. The defense used the same documents against me. I strongly believe if he would have read the documents and did his JOB. Today would have been a different story.
It’s not my job to go through all the paper work and documents, that’s what you hire a lawyer for. Now I wish I had, and never hired him.
Find somebody else who actually cares about his cases instead of taking on a bunch and hoping he wins one for a fat pay check.

Belluck & Fox did everything they said they'd do. During discussions with my lawyer, what was outlined in terms of the process and what would happen, they checked those boxes. My life has been changed forever by asbestos and it has caused a lot of physical damage to me. I had to have major surgeries and the firm was able to get financial compensation. They hold folks accountable, so it's a bit of a mental relief. My attorney Chris Hersom listened. He was very patient and understanding which was great, you don't find too many attorneys like that, they're more cut to the chase. He was focused on helping me and everybody that I dealt with at the office in New York was helpful. It got to the point where when I called they actually knew me. Heysell Brenes who works there, would help with things that had nothing to do with her. I don't know how to thank her enough through the whole process. Everybody at the office worked together as a team. It's almost like not dealing with a law firm, you're dealing with a family that's trying to help you.

I gave them a star because you must give them something. However this is the worst law firm ever. I wouldn’t recommended them what so ever( pay attention to the signs from the beginning)I am very disgusted with their communication and the way they operate in this office. I have worked with my attorney for over 20years and he was able to provide me with great referrals if the case wasn’t his expertise. unfortunately he passed young. I have been trying to build a new relationship with a law firm after 2 weeks of calling, leaving voicemails (Just to get a response if my case will be taken )however no one has heard my case whatsoever and on today’s date young lady(office manager)tells me to simply find a new law office because she can’t force the attorney to call and their are thousand of them I can call 🤦🏽♀️ If I was told that from the start I wouldn’t continue calling that’s one. I thought I was being patient by waiting on them to respond to my voicemails and instead it backfired. Are they really busy 🙄I really hope you guys are not keeping them busy because people like this are not genuine people and have 0 customer service skills.(it goes a long way) I was wondering why they kept changing people and there’s no new reviews 🤔 (reviews are mainly about Kristina, she is no longer there) It’s absolutely clear now they are not improving. They are probably over there finishing up their pending cases. When I was given their contact information by my attorney it was in 2014. Yes I do keep my contacts because you never know when you need it but moving forward they will be deleted,after many years of keeping them on my phone 😂. I just wish my attorney was still here so I can tell him this LAW FIRM SUCKED 👎 I never really like writing reviews However I’m starting to understand The logic in them and when people are wrong and only when they are wrong and it effected in me in some way, I actually look forward to saving someone else from going through the same experience Plus like they said they are plenty of attorney office out there!!!so they won’t be missing out on nothing right? 🤷♀️ I say take your chances look elsewhere…. if I find the perfect one I might just come back and point ya in a better direction.
