I want to give my highest recommendations to Attorney Courtney Werning and her paralegal Elizabeth Robertson of the Meyer Wilson law firm. Courtney has represented clients who are victims of investment service company and broker misconduct for 11 years, so she is experienced and knowledgeable; she knows the players and the playbook well. In my case, nearly the entirety of my retirement savings were used to purchase two inappropriate investments that were definitely not in my best interest (a private equity fund worth virtually nothing now, and an annuity). As a result, I lost a sizeable portion of my retirement savings. There are means to recover at least a part of your investment losses, which is particularly important if it is retirement savings, but the barriers to recovery can be formidable. If you are to have a chance of recovery, you need an attorney with the knowledge and experience that Courtney has shown. Just as important, you need an attorney who is skilled at guiding you through the process. And, if things are not going as well as you had hoped, you will need an attorney capable of helping you understand and process what happened and why. Courtney can do all of these things, and it helps that she is patient, soft spoken and understanding.

I was NOT a client. I was a 3rd party payer for a contract that was being done. the account was charged for time before the retainer was completed. There were ZERO changes or updates to the contract. Overall Emma was extremely unprofessional and rude in her interactions. We became afraid to interact due to being charged for everything. I get time is money but this was just ridiculous for the amount of work that was NOT conducted.

Without going much into detail of what had occurred with my employer, I was let go for the day I returned from short-term disability. Panic attacks occurring from an ever-present toxic culture had me suffering daily panic attacks. Just a few days after being "released", I went online and found Stephen Voudris. I found myself in a difficult situation with my former employer regarding a wrongful termination that led to problems involving a relocation agreement with my former employer. My former employer was motivated to recoup re-location dollars that I allegedly owed. The situation was difficult because of the way I was treated by management, I was point blank fired, and the employer acted quickly to allege that I re-signed (Re-location contract language stated that any employee that resigns is liable for $ owed). Now, I knew that the employer's allegations were false, but needed legal help. I have hired Mark Biggerman for two projects, both having to do with issues related to my house--one an easement issue and the other a dispute with a neighbor about her gas line on my property. In both cases, Mark provided the documents I needed, and he worked in a timely fashion and was always available when I called him or needed him to be at my property. He has a calm presence, and he does his homework! Finally, his billing is very reasonable. I will also add that he knows well the parameters of his expertise, and he's willing to find another lawyer with the necessary skills if a job does not fall in his wheelhouse. Gretchen was 100 percent on my side from the minute we met! I was wrongfully accused of 2 major felonies and could have been put in prison for a long time! Dave Truman is an excellent attorney. When I was terminated from my position (wrongfully in my opinion though my former employer never admitted it), Mr. Truman took me on as his client. He is knowledgeable, hardworking and very responsive. In fact, when I first called him I was very surprised when he answered the phone himself. I was expecting to leave a voicemail message but instead I got to speak with him immediately. Just a horrible experience. Dragged out the estate closure for years. The team is disorganized and communicate poorly. No concept of using modern tech to stay in touch (ever heard of a phone?) Nothing is digital. Many of the paralegals don't know what's going on since they don't communicate. Mixed messages about the process and a condescending tone. Don't get me started on the errors and mistakes on the paperwork. Stay away. Your loved ones will appreciate it after you pass.

I contacted Mezibov Butler to seek their legal advice on my constitutional rights being violated by my local law enforcement. I spoke with a paralegal named "TJ" TJ took down all my information and said that the attorneys were out to lunch. Three weeks later, I call again. Now TJ said that "Kevin" just got back from vacation. He would have him call me in the near future. Two weeks later I had to call the law firm and asked them why after all this time I can't speak with a lawyer and get some legal advice. Only after I pushed the issue, I got to speak with a attorney named "Dennis" He read information off of a piece of paper and asked if I was that person. After confirming that I was that person he asked the ridiculous question of "What do you want us to do for you?" Then I actually had to voice that I wanted him to stick up for my constitutional rights. He advised that there was nothing that he could help me with. Granted I don't know as much law as he does but the little I do know, I did not believe his professional opinion of there wasn't much he could do. According to Dennis that they mostly practice Employment Law and rarely to they practice Constitutional Law. In my personal opinion, this law firm is unprofessional, lazy, and do not offer proper advice. I would advised people to seek attorney advice somewhere else. EDIT**** (8-21-24) Since there is no button to respond to the "Owner's Response" I have to give my "Response to the Owner's Response" right here. Its really weird how I got such a prompt response only after I left a review for you on Google. Considering it took me a month to hear from your office the first time. I'm fairly positive that your paralegal TJ said "Kevin" Considering that TJ has a hard problem passing along phone messages, I would strongly consider that your law firm should investigate TJ's effectiveness at your law firm. During your free time, you should investigate "Amendment Auditors" on line. There is one undeniable conclusion that you can come to when watching these and they are all backed up by lawsuits. "Law Enforcement can not forcibly take your identity away from you without probable cause." If you can not look at my case and come to the conclusion that it is not a "viable claim" then I stand by my conclusion. Your law firm is unprofessional, lazy, and does not offer proper advice. On your google page you posted "When you have been wronged, you need an experienced law firm on your side that can help make things right." In my opinion your law firm has no interest of fighting for anyone and I'm going to use sarcastic air quotes right now "And making things right."

STAY AWAY FROM THOMAS KANDO and SARAH. They will rob you out of your hard earned money and very unprofessional!! I had an extremely disappointing experience with this law firm, particularly with Thomas Kando. My family engaged their services in November 2023, seeking assistance with a property damage case. During our initial meeting, Mr. Kando assured us that the case was strong and encouraged us to proceed, which we did, trusting his professional judgment. However, after receiving a $1,000 payment, communication from both Mr. Kando and his assistant Sarah ceased. Despite repeated attempts to contact them via phone and email, we received no responses. On multiple occasions, we visited the office in person, only to be told that we would receive a call back, which never happened. Out of approximately 15 visits, we encountered Sarah twice, and she provided vague, yet falsely reassuring updates about the case’s progress. It became apparent that they may not have taken any real action on our behalf. We were told that Mr. Kando had allegedly attempted to negotiate with the construction company, but no documentation or evidence of these communications was ever presented to us. By August 2024, nearly nine months later, we confronted Mr. Kando in person after he had avoided us for so long. During this meeting, he informed us that the case was not successful, contradicting his initial optimism and showing little concern for the outcome or for the fact that we had trusted him with our money and our case. Overall, our experience with this law firm was highly unprofessional, and we felt misled and ignored after they were paid. I would strongly advise caution when considering their services.

Took over 7 years to settle my lawsuit and he took too large a portion of the settlement amount. Out of $140000 he took $90000. After the settlement he showed up with a new Jaguar after he had told me that he needed money for his sons college expenses. I do not reccomend this attorney. .Never produced expenses or contingent agreement.
