The day I entered this office I knew I landed in the right place. I was wrongfully terminated because I refused to allow the Resort I worked for to garnish my wages by illegally changing my time records. I'm a contractor and was sued for the first time. I was being sued by the general contractor of the project for construction defect, even though I had next to no involvement with the entire project. Mr. Jason Whooper is absolutely invested in his clients. During my initial consultation, he spoke to me for over an hour!! I’m lucky to get 10-15 mins with other attorney’s I have consulted with. I was names plaintiff in a class action against a local bus charter company. The company was using federal law to justify not giving the employees lunch breaks under a transportation law. I am the plaintiff in a pending new wrongful termination case. I am exceptionally well documented in my evidence against the defendant. So, when I 'shopped the case around' with several attorneys by phone & email, there was much interest.
But Mr Olsen showed much more than interest in my story; he was invested in it. He was genuinely aggrieved and indignant that my company had fired me after I caught management forging my inspector's stamp & signature on FAA certs. That was just what I wanted. I hired him immediately.
The case is just beginning but to this point Mr. Olsen has shown himself to be a motivated and aggressive attorney.

I never imagined being in a situation where I needed to take such extreme measures in order to fight for my child's right to play outside our apartment complex. One day as my neighbor and I were supervising our kids, the on-site manager approached us told us that the kids could not be playing outside. She stated that our lease agreement indicated that kids were not allowed to play outside. We continued to allow our kids to play outside.
A few days later the on-site manager's husband went to my neighbor's and my apartment. He said we CANNOT continue to allow our kids to play outside. I asked him where he wanted the kids to play and his response was, "you are lucky we live right across the street from a park, so take him there." I couldn't believe what I was hearing! I decided to escalate it and give the management company a call because I knew they could not prohibit our children from playing outside. Boy was I wrong! The management company and the property owner supported the on-site manager. There were so many feelings that we were going through anger, alone, scared, the not knowing. We felt as we did and used everything in our power to try and to reach out to someone because we were crying out for help! How can managers get away with such a thing and allow them to feel like they have all the POWER in the world?
One day my neighbor received a 60 day notice to leave the apartment and we received a verbal threat that we were next. I did my research because I could not allow the managers to continue to intimidate us nor our children.
I reached out to a few attorneys and all they'd say was we "really" didn't have a case or that they can send the manager a letter. I felt as if the doors were shutting and that the manager may be right after all. When I Craig Fagan's website, I had tears in my eyes. My neighbor and I decided to give Craig a call. He is SUPER understanding, kind, family oriented and most important makes you feel like everything is going to be fine. If you talk to Craig, it is obviously because you have been discriminated and do not know what to do. All I can say is, fight for your right and stop allowing discrimination to continue. The thought of the entire process sounds scary, but TRUST me it's the right thing to do. You are not alone; Craig is with you through the ENTIRE process. I normally do not write testimonials but I had to for this because it has honestly been the best decision we could have made and I want EVERYONE to know that there is hope!

I was a client of craig and he settled the case in a timely manner and we were very happy with his knowledge. we were being discrimnated against for letting our daughter to play outside of the apartment the only time our daughter could be outside was if we were leaving to go somewhere which was becoming old very fast. But we settled out of court for a good amount and we were very happy with the outcome. keep up the good work craig.

Frank Clowney is an excellent attorney and has the respect of judges within the profession as evidenced by a judges comment as we appeared before him for arbitration. The judges first comment was "You have a good one here", referring to Frank Clowney's reputation in appearing before him. His next comment was equally telling. "How much do you want" in response to settling the arbitration case.

I worked with Kyle Nordrehaug and Jon Zacharias on a case concerning unpaid overtime wages. They were extremely knowledgeable about this matter. We hired Ms. Stratton to assist us with a contractor we hired to remodel our home. They tried to serve us a bill nearly 50% more than our original bid. This is not an unusual practice when it comes to home building, but these guys were hiding costs and doubling time and supplies unnecessarily. We were unable to see how they were coming to the amount of the final bill. Ms. Stratton took our case and reviewed all the documentation of the remodel, such as change orders, how they were provided, how they calculated their hours and supervision and, through her expertise, brought transparency and clarity to our case. She ended up uncovering change orders that were not written correctly or given to us in a timely fashion per the law. She also discovered that we were being billed at a 300% mark up over our original contract vs. doubling the cost and time as how the billing should have been done. We wouldn't have been able to successfully dispute these charges without her expertise in the laws of business. She maintained professionalism and respect for all sides during our dispute. We were very impressed by her and would highly recommend her.

I had an insurance claim that the insurance company quickly denied coverage for. An attorney friend referred Mr. Les Robertson to me because he's an expert in insurance coverage and has a great reputation. Since the first conversation, Mr. Robertson was warm, empathetic, and very clear at explaining the law related to my situation. He told me the insurance should have provided the coverage and was willing to help. In a surprise turn, the insurance company changed their mind a couple of days later and decided to cover for the claim. I didn't need to work with Mr Robertson further but I will not hesitate at all to reach out to him again if there is a need. Highly recommend him!

Anthony Pantoni was simply the most wonderful Attorney. He acted for me single-handedly, against a team of (19 !!), so called corporate high flyers (I am English, from the UK, and travelled to the US for trial). Anthony won my quite complicated case hands down, and achieved this, well prior to conclusion of the case (was settled during trial, in my favor).. He did so by very clearly, very dramatically, and very impressively, demonstrating to the opposition that there was no way he would not prevail, in my case. Before I hired Haeggquist & Eck, LLP, I interviewed five of the top Employment law firms in San Diego. Haeggquist & Eck was the firm that spent the most time with me before I hire them. They wanted to make sure they responded to all my questions and I understood the process that awaited me ahead. I am so grateful they represented me. They were always very promptly at communicating any case updates and they always got back to me right away whenever I had questions. I have no family in the United States and I felt very lonely at the beginning of my legal process, however, Haeggquist & Eck truly made me feel like I had somebody knowledgeable, caring and with a lot of experience on my side. In January 2020, I had filed for a divorce. By the fall of 2021, my lawyer informed me she could no longer represent me. I needed a reputable, trustworthy lawyer that would not bail on me again.
In my online research, I found Dell'Acqua Law and left a note on the website. I did not expect to hear a response for 48 hours or so. The next day, Dawn Dell'Acqua and I had a virtual conversation! Dawn could see I was feeling vulnerable and broken. My marriage of 19 years was a complex case. My ex was not an easy person to deal with.
My worries dissipated quickly working with Dawn, Ariel Barbre, and the amazing office staff. They were professional yet personable. I was constantly informed of any new developments, consulted before any motions were made, tutored, then counseled to help me understand what was happening and why. Ultimately, I was reassured they had my best interest in mind again and again.
