I was falsely accused of a serious crime. The police charged the wrong person in a self-defense incident. My life was in chaos, and I panicked to find an attorney. The day I called Krizman, I spoke to Wyatt. He spent significant time understanding my case – something law enforcement and other lawyersrefused to do. After ending the call, I knew he cared more than anyone I spoke to. He listened and learned what happened to me, allied with me, and I immediately knew Krizman Law was the firm I needed to represent me.
Throughout one of the toughest ordeals of my life, everyone at Krizman Law told me they were on “my team”. In a time when I felt like no one cared about me, Casey told me several times that “one way or another, all of this is going to go away”. At court appearances, he constantly told me to enjoy my life, encouraged me to go out on hikes, and to share pictures of my weekend with him. Even though my life was in crisis, the people at Krisman Law knew they could provide a result that would be in my best interest. They encouraged me to let them handle the burden of my charge.
Casey and his team collected evidence for the DA that created the true narrative about what happened that day. Along with an indisputable timeline of events, it became clear that I was defending myself. This destroyed the fake narrative of the actual suspect (who lied to keep himself out of trouble) and exposed the false narrative the Sheriff's Department created in their reports. Jacob, Wyatt, and Casey worked expeditiously to encourage the DA to review the new evidence before the arraignment hearing.
Because of the efforts and care of Krizman Law, the DA didn’t even put up a fight. He simply dismissed the case. I am convinced that, unlike other lawyers, Casey and his team were fully invested in their clients. They told me they were in the business of “crisis management” and treated me like my situation was more than just a criminal case. They understood what I was going through and would often call to check in on me. My life is back to where it was before the incident happened, and I will be forever grateful to Casey and his team.

Do not recommend. Every time I turn around there is another issue with my case. I am beyond frustrated. I’m not sure if there are holes with people not filing paperwork or what exactly is going on, but it is highly frustrating entrusting someone with your future for them to continually drop the ball.

Extremely professional and effective law firm. Christina was constantly talking to me about the case and any updates that she had. Other moving violations were dropped, and Danny stayed with me the entire way, recommending actions I could take that would have a positive impact on my ultimate decision. Meggin Rutherford and her paralegal, Sarah Duff, are compassionate professionals who supported me through one of the most difficult times of my life. They successfully represented me in my divorce from an abusive narcissist who thought he was a lawyer despite being kicked out of law school and losing all of his frivolous lawsuits against perceived enemies. I was wrongly charged with domestic violence when I was the victim but, because I did not call to report an incident, the police believed the fabricated lie. I was arrested and forced to go through the most embarrassing process I have ever experienced in my life, all the while, feeling like a criminal when I didn’t do anything wrong.
After I posted bail, I new I needed help with this fight and began looking for defense attorneys, which was when I found Mike.
When I met with Mike and broke down the whole story, he thought it was a great case to take all the way to trial. He was very honest and let me know that the DA will try to ‘sweeten’ the plea deal, at every disposition. He said there is a good chance the charges would get dropped before trial but, it could take all summer and may not be dismissed until an hour before trial. He told me to prepare myself and expect it to go to trial.
We were all set for trial and Mike couldn’t wait for his opportunity to cross examine. Just before trial, he made one last attempt to get the DA to look at all the evidence. Finally, the DA listened and the evidence that Mike presented, was enough to dismiss the case. Just as he prepared me for what to expect, the case was dropped an hour before trial.
Although the whole situation cost me a lot of money, time, embarrassment, heartache, etc... I couldn’t have done it without Mike. He was always available when I had questions or needed to run something by him. His price is much more appealing than several of the others that I had tried calling.
Overall, Mike Boyce is a true professional, very candid, and someone you can trust!

I had the opportunity to have Kaplan Morrell handle my workers compensation claim. They were actually referred to me by The Jordan Law firm and were very highly recommended. I feel so very grateful to Kaplan Morrell. Their whole team was fantastic. I worked a lot with Tammy Roberts from their office and she was amazing! She answered all my questions, always kept me informed with numerous updates, was always quick to respond and helped navigate me through the complexities of the whole legal process. Though I know they handle many clients, they always made me feel like I was their only client. They are very good at what they do. They settled my claim very quickly and professionally. Having no experience in this field at all, I was pretty terrified when I was shown to be at fault for a car accident. Originally I started with a lawyer where when we showed up to the first court appearance the Judge shut us out didn’t let that attorney speak, and didn’t want to hear anything she had to say! I’m so glad she chose to transfer the case to Jessica Lasky. This amazing attorney came in like super woman throwing blows to the entire court system. Attorneys do not communicate with clients, and they laugh at you when you ask questions.
Biggest waste of money and possibly the biggest mistake i have ever made in my adult life hiring this firm.
Unprofessional, Rude, And they dont listen. I had to fire these people before my court date because they cannot do the bare minimum... my case is probably the easiest open and shut case for dismissal an attorney could ever ask for and i already feel they are doing whatever it takes to drag it out as long as possible. Extremely unhappy with the way i was handled. Diane was very informative and professional but other than her the rest of the staff were very unprofessional and unwilling to help.
I wouldnt hire these people for a speeding ticket let alone a False accusation that could end up putting me in jail for 18 months.
They have no problem collecting thousands of dollars from you but cant even show up to court or communicate they wont be there until the day of.
Whoever was working on my case should not be working with the public.
I wouldnt hire this firm again or reccomend to anyone.

I hired Mr. Suro on a personal injury case. The insurance company of the person at fault significantly undervalued my claim. David was able to get me over four times what they initially offered. It took a couple of years, but he stayed on them for a very satisfactory result. He kept me posted on the progress of the claim at regular intervals and was very professional. Once the insurance company paid, he had my money to me in less than a week. Highly recommended.

I was David's client for two years while we navigated through a frustrating and tedious personal injury case. It was immediately clear that David knew what he was doing in the legal sense, but also understood the personal aspect to a life changing event like a major personal injury. After I was wrongly charged with a very serious crime I hired David Jones. David did explain to me the risks and benefits of going to trial. I can't speak to the other lawyers at this firm, but I had a very disturbing experience with Andrew Castle, who represented one of my friends in a relatively high profile case. Unfortunately, my friend was found guilty on all 7 counts. And my friend and I weren't really sure of what to do. I asked him if there was any way I could use my platform to try to help? And my friend said that it might help, but that we should first ask his lawyer Andrew, before doing anything. We had agreed that this was a good idea, and I sent an email asking what Andrew thought, making it very clear that I wouldn't do anything if that made him or my friend uncomfortable.
When I asked Andrew if using my platform would be of any use, Andrew's response was very aggressive. I asked him why he was being aggressive, when I already had agreed to not doing anything that he didn't feel comfortable with. To my surprise, his response was to tell me to stop talking to his client, my friend, while he was in custody.
It was a very jarring experience as I simply wanted to try to help my friend, and again, had no interest in doing anything that would make my friend or Andrew feel uncomfortable.
I also found this to be very disturbing, as I imagine being in jail is tough, and someone in jail might want to have as many friends as possible to talk to. However, because I didn't want to further anger Andrew, I and others stopped talking to our friend until he was out of custody. I think that's an incredibly horrible and cruel position to put all of us in, as we simply wanted to provide emotional support throughout an incredibly tough time.

I hired Mr Johnson to handle sealing my court record. Being out of state I didn't want to try and do this myself, boy was that a good decision! Although the law was on our side the Assitant DA was not and took a fairly easy situation and made it his life's mission not to seal my 1985 felony charge. Mr Johnson defended every argument the DA had with multiple court hearings and In the end due to the over and above efforts of Mr Johnson my 1985 felony charge was sealed and I can now live the rest of my life without explaining something that happened 30 years ago when I was just a young adult!
